Surya and Smita are great communicators, which helped prepare us for a wonderful international dogsit with Truffle. Our arrival went exactly as planned. We were shown all of Truffle's routines, and had a nice group walk on one of her favorite loops. Surya and his daughter even prepared us a spectacular meal the night before their departure. We were able to meet Smita upon the family's return. It was a true joy to get to know them during our time together! We spent 3 glorious weeks on Lake Geneva walking Truffle along the lake and in the streamside park next door. Our walks with Truffle were the highlight of our entire trip to Switzerland. She's great on her leash and loves to stop to have other people pet her. She's so sweet and gentle. If you help her find some sticks, you'll become friends for life. When you are home with Truffle, she loves to look out the window, nap, and PLAY! We found ourselves laughing so hard and having an absolute blast playing with her. She also sleeps well at night and has a little bell to ring when she has to go potty. She's very smart, sensitive, and mature. Nyon is a stunning village. It's safe and Truffle loves walking around the entire area. Surya and Smita's home is comfortable and located right across from the lake with access to everything you could ever need or want (just a 15 min walk away). We are very grateful to have new friends and hope to care for Truffle again in the future. Truffle brought a lot of joy and laughter into our lives, and we miss her so much already! If you have an opportunity to watch Truffle, jump at the opportunity!
Petsitting for one of the most talkative and playful cats out there, Toby, at Chloe's beautiful home in Boulder is unforgettable. For instance, this cat loves to play 'fetch' with paper balls! :) While Chloe makes sure you are comfortable at her home, the private street the house is on has very nice easygoing neighbors to help out as well if needed. If you are a remote worker, the office is a great place to work in. Highly recommend this petsit if you want to be in the Boulder area with access to great outdoor activities and local restaurants, etc.
Ligia and Oleg were very warm and welcoming when we arrived. We arrived a day early as requested to get to know each other. Their home was very comfortable and well located within a short walk to shopping and walking parks. We cared for 2 cats, Harry and Mushka. Harry was instantly our friend and loved hugs and playing. It took Mushka a few days to accept us before she allowed us to hold and hug her. We enjoyed exploring the local area and found Ligia and Oleg interesting people. Looking forward to seeing them again.
Canterbury is one of the most beautiful cities I've ever been to. Keira and Mark's house is walking distance from the city center, and there is just so much to explore! I arrived an hour ahead of their departure, so they had time to show me everything and for the cats to get used to me. The cats kept me amused, each with their own personality and way of interacting with the others. I highly recommend this sit - I won't soon forget Canterbury and I'm so thankful that they chose me to look after the fur babies.
The marvellous Happy Hattie 🙂 I cannot truly convey how grateful and joyous this stay was. Lesley & Chris are wonderful people, who were extremely accommodating, communicative, friendly and very helpful. I felt fully welcomed into their home and lives, even getting to meet some of their very lovely friends. An entire printed booklet of almost-encyclopaedic detail on the ins and outs of the house, Hatties routine and local amenities was extraordinarily helpful, and in and of itself, is a gesture that very candidly summarises just how great Lesley and Chris are. The house and the location are, simply-put, stunning; a very literal stones’ throw to some beautiful woodland and playing fields, where Hattie is absolutely in her element. Happy Hattie is completely in love with life, and it’s infectious. She greets you lovingly and excitedly, is a companion for all your daily bits n bobs, and is extremely well-behaved. It actually took me some time to fully settle in to just how easy and fun she was to love and look after. Her tail does not stop wagging the entire time she is out in the forest or being given a good back and neck rub (she will create enough propulsion to take flight if she so much as sees a ball tennis 🎾 😳😂) I cannot express how perfect this sit was. And a ginormous thank you to Lesley and Chris for being such beautiful people to me. My heart is so very grateful 🙏🏻💚
We loved caring for sweet little Jellybean. We enjoyed long walks around the neighborhood and local parks with her. She frequently led the way directly to her favorite place -- the local pet store where she is known by name. At home, she enjoyed napping on her numerous dog beds near us and also sunning herself on the back deck. She was very well-mannered and only barked when unfamiliar people approached the front door. At night, it was mutually comforting to have her sleep at the foot of the bed on her co-sleeper dog bed. Miriam and her family were extremely gracious. Their historic home is beautiful and spacious. The kitchen is well equipped which made cooking a joy. We spent a fair bit of time snuggling with Jellybean on the comfortable living room sofa watching Netflix. We enjoyed being able to walk to nearby parks and dine at dog-friendly establishments with Jellybean. The third floor guest bedroom was spacious with a very comfortable bed and a beautiful view of San Francisco. We were even able to see the 4th of July fireworks from the 3rd floor balcony. We appreciated the opportunity to care for their home and Jellybean!
