First of all, if Alexis and family apply to petsit/housesit for you, consider yourself lucky! She did an amazing job from the very first steps. She was attentive to the details of what we needed, and asked pertinent questions that I hadn’t even thought of! She and her family are kind, caring, fun and responsible. During their stay, I trust that our pets had such a fine time that they barely noticed our absence. Her daughters even found new games to play with our beloved pup! Alexis kept us up to date on how our pets were doing and sent adorable photos. We came home to a sparkling clean house and a home cooked meal. Alexis and her family exceeded all expectations.

Susie was fantastic. Our dog absolutely loved her! Susie sent daily updates with pictures and really kept our girl active, playing, and feeling loved. When we returned home, it was clear our dog had had a really fun time and was very at ease. On top of that, Susie left the house in great (and clean!) condition. Overall, very communicative, tidy, and caring with animals. We are so grateful to Susie really hope she'll be back. We know our pup will be so excited to see her!

Peter & Kazue

Peter and Kazué were definitely 5-star sitters, experienced with the process and great communicators. They were willing to arrive the afternoon before my departure, which made orientation to the nuances of my pets' care so easy. I also loved their curiosity about the Sedona area. They'd done their research and had great questions. They left the house clean and tidy and even washed towels and stripped the sheets.

Maddie

Maddie did a great job caring for our two kitties!! She also made sure they were inside and safe at the time we requested every night, which was very important. She also kept the house tidy for the most part and washed her linens before departing. Some items in the kitchen and guest bathroom needed light cleaning, but it wasn’t a huge issue as we were appreciative to have someone who took loving care of our fur babies. Maddie provided me with frequent updates on Beersworth and Tommy which I appreciated greatly while being out of the country. Overall Maddie was a very responsible person and pleasant to interact with. We would gladly invite Maddie back again for another sit in the future!!

Kelsey

As always, it was great to have Kelsey back to look after Percy and Remy. They were so pleased to see her. As usual, Kelsey sent us videos and photos of the boys, taking them for walks and playing with them. She is such a great pet and house sitter. We can go away without any worries or concerns knowing that our dogs and house are in the best hands possible. We look forward to booking Kelsey for further sits next year.

Rumi is really adorable and loves cuddling! While walking I did have to get treats ready to bribe her whenever she stopped walking haha. She can get easily distracted by things around her. Brittani’s home is really lovely and she did such a great job of making me feel welcome and comfortable (for example she put all things that I might need on the countertop in the kitchen so I didn’t have to look for it). We will start with the best part of our stay, Freeze! Freeze is a friendly and gentle guy who absolutely loves toys and playing fetch, even indoors. He has the sweetest nature and is very affectionate and responsive. He greets you in the morning for his morning walk and perks right up when you say the word, “outside”. He's a huge fan of belly rubs and scratches behind the ears.

We absolutely loved looking after Freeze! From the first moment we walked in the door he took to us right away. We loved our walks through different parts of the neighborhood and tossing his ball for him. Freeze can pull a little on the leash sometimes but he is manageable and seems like he's just enthusiastic to be out. He can become a little excitable if you meet certain dogs on the sidewalk so we just avoided dogs.

Yanessa is a kind and friendly person who was very informative over the phone about Freeze, her apartment and her DC neighborhood. We felt a very comfortable, welcoming connection and had excellent communication throughout our stay.

Yanessa’s location in DC is fantastic! You're close to everything including a grocery store just down the street (it gets busy after 4pm), a pharmacy, and a metro stop. If you're driving into DC, parking can be a challenge (use your parking karma) but Yanessa’a apartment is within walking distance of Union Station.

Yanessa's building is new and beautiful with a pool and a gym. Her apartment is gorgeous with everything you could need. We absolutely loved our stay and we would highly recommend sitting for Yanessa. Freeze is an amazing dog and we can't wait to return and see him again.
