Elliott’s house was located in a really fun area with a cute downtown area to explore, and a great neighborhood to walk the dog around. Charlie was super loving and excited to see me every time I walked through the door. Clarence was much more shy, but very low maintenance and fun to observe when he wasn’t hiding. Elliott was great about leaving lots of information about the animals to reference, and messaged back with answers to any questions.
Mary Lou showed me around the house before the sit started, and left detailed instructions for taking care of Kora, so everything was very straightforward and outlined for me. The house is new, nice and very comfortable with a great patio out back. Very close proximity to Chatfield State Park as well. Kora is really sweet and well-behaved, and it was a joy spending a couple of days taking care of her. Great experience!
This was a delightful pet sit. Barney was a sweet, cool, easy to care for indoor/outdoor cat. He loved having his ears and chin scratched with a special brush and would sit there all night and let you brush him. Angela was easy to communicate with before and during the sit. We got a Zoom tour of the house since we would be arriving after she left. The house was incredibly clean and organized, food we requested was left in the refrig, there was plenty of closet space for our belongings, and there was all the info in the welcome guide to make us very comfortable with the house, neighborhood, and Barney. The home is in a great location making day trips to Savannah, Beaufort, and Hilton Head very easy. Bluffton itself is a cute community and we especially enjoyed roaming around "old town". I highly recommend this sit and can guarantee that you will have a new best 3 legged friend in Barney.
Our sit at Laura and Ned’s was wonderful! Their house was lovely with all the cooking and coffee tools you could ever want. Winston and Sloan were very sweet and easy to take care of, we loved getting to cuddle with them while we were away from our dogs! I would definitely recommend a housesit at Laura and Ned’s!
Isobel and Neil were great at communicating before and during the sit, so we knew exactly what to do to keep the dogs happy, and also to be comfortable ourselves! Roo and Prim are lovely characters and get on so well together. First time cooking in an Aga: roasted vegetables hit new heights of delicious-ness!! It will be nice to go again in December already "knowing the ropes"....
Vickie and I have done numerous sits over the years. Shawna and Kevin’s is definitely numero uno :-) Their two labs, Rip & Huck, are just about the two sweetest souls you will every meet. They are very well behaved, trained and super fun, playful pups :-) Shawna and Kevin have a very nice, unique (at least to us) and rural homestead. Vickie and I really enjoyed the experience. The lovely lake front community of Sandpoint, Idaho is just a short ten minute drive away. Which has most things one might need or be interested in. The listing was highly accurate. Communication was perfect. The house was nicely prepared to accommodate Vickie and myself as guests. I expect I could summarize our sit with Rip & Huck as five star across the board. Everything was awesome. We simply do not have anything negative to share :-) Many thanks to Shawna and Kevin for allowing us this awesome and unique house/dog sit opportunity :-)
