Debra
Wasabi is a sweet cat who loves pets and her food. Debra’s house is comfortable and in a lovely semi-suburban/rural neighborhood with good walking and nearby (driving) amenities, farms and small towns. Highly recommend.

Even before meeting sweet Rita and her Family, we sensed we would be comfortable in her cozy place and the quiet suburb.

We spent an evening with Ana, before her departure, cooking and preparing a tasty salad- so nice meeting this young beautiful family. Perfect introduction to this housesit.

Rita is the dog people imagine when fantasizing about having a canine: joyful, obedient, playful, no barking, social with all dogs.
She loves napping next to You when working e.g. on the computer. After work we would cycle into the park where she'd play with her friends.

if You go for a swim in the nearby lakes, Rita will be excited to join you :)
She constantly makes You smile. Again & again. Surely her presence raises the quality of life.

The atmosphere of the house evokes intimacy, and serenity and is distinguished by the brightness that belongs to it.

The sofas are large & comfy. The open kitchen is equipped with everything you need :-)
In the garden is space to meditate, do yoga. Rita loves sunbathing there in the early hours and so do we.

The quiet suburb has plenty parking and offers supermarkets and services including an Italian ice cream parlour that made walks pleasant on summer days.

We are in contact with Rita's family and it’s nice to confirm our good feeling about them, the communication was smooth and easy and we were happy to collect a new memory in Köln :-)

Merrett
Merrett was a fabulous hostess allowing access to her entire beautiful home without restrictions. The dogs were so loveable and easy to care for and the home in a fun location with a village of its own to explore. We were grateful to have a second opportunity to care for her home and pets and would not hesitate to return. We loved Merrett's easy going nature and Ellie and Flynn were very cuddly and friendly furry friends.

Kathy
I've been petsitting for five years, and I've never encountered a more generous, accommodating, and considerate homeowner. Kathy is organized, communicates often, and was concerned with my comfort and security. I especially appreciated her "guests welcome" policy, which allowed me to share her fair city with my best friend over the weekend. Sitting for Kathy and her pets was a bright spot for me. I hope she'll ask for me again.

Helen
We had a lovely stay at Helen and Dave's. Their compact spotlessly clean home is extremely comfortable with everything you need for a relaxing stay. The house backs onto acres of fields where you can safely walk the dogs in beautiful surrounds. And the garden is a lovely place to relax.

Peasmarsh is a small village but has a great pub just down the hill from theirs and a very good supermarket about a 15 minutes walk across the fields. There is also a second pub but we prefer the Horse and Cart.

There is a bus to and from Rye but we didn't bother as we have visited before and were happy just to chill in the village.

Now to the stars of the show. Three gorgeous doggos.
Leo is a mischievous terrier who loves to run.
Alfie is a complete love bug, and
Snoop a gentle giant.
They all walk well and generally just chill for the rest of the time..although they do get excited at food time!

Helen is a fabulous communicator. The welcome manual is very comprehensive and up to date. But if you still have further questions, is quick to respond.

All in all a great sit in a beautiful part of England. Recommended.

Kirsten
Kirsten was a pleasure to sit for! Her instructions were clear and complete, her house was exactly as described on the listing, and her pets were calm and loving. It was a pleasure to walk Toppy - she kept a good pace, didn't pull on the leash, and behaved well when other dogs passed us. Carmela was shy at first but warmed up to us pretty quickly. Turtle was curious, incredibly playful, and always wanted to be near us. Kirsten's house was clean and well organized - a place for everything and everything in its place. We would definitely sit for her again!
