Sasha and Vinny were very welcoming, we were invited to arrive the day before they were due to leave as they had an early departure time. After a drink, we were shown the whole property, given emergency contacts and introduced to the cats. Cassie and Kiki are so beautiful. We ate together too and the conversation flowed and we had a great time. We spent eleven fantastic days at their home which is situated in the town, close to all the shops, restaurants and the train station. It’s only a 25 minute journey into Kings Cross and we did venture into London once, but preferred being in area nearby. The house is brilliantly equipped, has a beautiful large garden, and is in a quiet, tree lined, leafy green road with ample off street parking. We became massive Cassie and Kiki fans, falling in love with them before we left. Cassie is a cheeky, attention seeking princess, who made us laugh with her antics. What a star! Kiki is a calm gentle queen, who although more aloof, she would flip her self over at our feet when tummy strokes were required. The cats are early risers, the morning feed was requested politely and in a variety of ways, so we started each day after feeding, with lots of affection, back to bed cuddles and purrs There are quite a few county side walks that can be done without using the car as there’s a large green belt area nearby. Sunsets were a lovely time to walk around the disused golf course too. This is a brilliant place to sit, such a beautiful garden and a gorgeous house with everything you need in it. We would like to highly recommend you apply, but as we want to sit here again in the future without fierce competition, we won’t tell anyone how great it is! Thank you Sasha and Vinny for letting us stay in your gorgeous home, we’re not sorry about shamelessly falling for your cats but we really appreciated the care and attention that went in to making our stay so delightful. Just wonderful.

What a great sit with 2 very different dogs! Murphy, a lively Dalmatian with a maniac grin and Jemima the Duchess Dachshund, who had to be carried around in a backpack due to a recent medical condition plus the 2 ducks of Duckingham palace. Wonderful views & lots of walks & woods to explore right from the door. Friendly neighbours & Moo was very easy to communicate with. We'd be very happy to return if invited.
I had an amazing experience with Sioni and Tuffi! I really enjoyed housesitting in Hove. First, Sioni was welcoming and generous in allowing me to arrive a day early to meet her and Tuffi. Sioni was able to leave early morning the next day knowing Tuffi was safe and cared for. I felt at home already. We communicated first over the app, but switched to WhatsApp when she was traveling. Sioni's flat was excellent -- well designed, very clean and comfortable in an ideal part of Hove. I had a lovely guest room with ensuite bath. We were a few blocks from the seafront and right in the center of restaurants, shops and activities. There were three (yes, 3) coffee shops right at the end of the street! Tuffi and I explored them (as well as a few bakeries). I met up with a friend in Hove and we took Tuffi to the pub with us (Hove is very dog friendly) and she made lots of people and dog friends. The neighborhood (and all of Hove/Brighton) is very walkable and although the weather didn't always cooperate, we had a few clear sunny days down at the seafront. I grew fond of our early morning walks before the town got busy, and late at night I felt perfectly safe to go out for that last "pee" break. Sioni also allowed me to stay an extra night at her home, which really facilitated my ability to make the transition to another sit. We had the chance to get to know each other a bit and found that we both enjoy traveling, and pottery! Sioni is the type of home owner that makes pet sitting a very positive experience. Looking after Tuffi was a pleasure. Such a sweet and cute and cuddly little mix of Terrier and something curly. She is well trained and adapts well to new people. After a good long walk, we crashed on the sofa together. Her excitement at the prospect of going on a walk was infectious. I was sorry to say goodbye to the fluffball. Overall, I highly recommend this sit. I would do it again in a heartbeat. Thanks Sioni for trusting me with Tuffi.
Laura and Ruby have been a pleasure to meet: Ruby is adorable, she needs a little time to get close to you but even in the meantime she follows you everywhere and looks for cuddles and she makes you understand she wants to play. Laura is a very generous and welcoming lady, she was also super nice letting me know to feel free to have a friend watch a movie or for a drink, I thought that was very thoughtful and a real demonstration of trust, which I have appreciated very much. Her house reflects her kind nature and I really enjoyed her space and peace within it. Thank you x
Yumi is adorable and sweet! We bonded right away and I loved the lap cuddles. The location is nice, near the canal and I was even able to walk to some museums. A Grab to district 1 is pretty cheap. Plenty of food and marts nearby as well. The apartment is nice and bright, but there are small ants and on the last night Yumi was chasing a cockroach. Elodie said they don't normally get them but I assume it can happen in any apartment in a big city like HCM so I understand. Plus no other sitter mentioned it so probably a rare instance. Overall I enjoyed my time with Yumi!
