We first had contact with Neilia and Jack in late 2019 when they applied to housesit for us. Thanks to Covid it was some 70 plus emails, messages and multiple video calls later they finally managed to get to our house. It was worth the wait. During the 2.5 years of preparing and multiple rebooking of the sit there were quite a few changes at our end including us now having two dogs instead of one. It was not an issue for Neilia and Jack. They fitted in well here and even became good friends with some of our friends. Bella and Beau loved having Neilia and Jack here, possibly as they seem to have had more walks with them than with us. We even considered that Bella and Beau would want to run off with them when they left. We recommend Neilia and Jack to anyone wanting housesitters and will happily keep in touch and welcome them back anytime.
Michelle and Erich were absolutely wonderful! I can’t say enough about them. They were reliable and conscientious about everything. They even took care of our yard. Our yard is my husband’s baby, and he had reconciled himself to some of the plants and/or lawn dying while we were gone because we didn’t want to put that expectation on the house sitter. But Erich turned out to be a person that likes watering. My husband was so happy! They took excellent care of our dogs and chickens. And when we got home, our house was so clean! On top of that, they are really nice people that we hope we can stay friends with. Thank you so much Michelle and Erich!
