Cecilia was an excellent sitter for our two cat boys! Communication was great and we loved all the picture of the boys throughout her stay. Our boys are use to a lot of attention and play...Cecilia met that challenge and they were likely sad to see her go :-) She took good care of our home, even battled a small ant invasion. 5 Stars all around, we wish her the best on her house hunting, and would love to have her stay with the cat boys again.

Christiane & Sebastian
A very relaxing housesit.
The owners are very laid back and live in a gorgeous house with a beautiful view of the Alps.
The communication with Christiane and Sebastian was superb. They replied to our messages/emails very fast and very effectively.
The two cats (Line and Lupina) are very independent and a bit on the shy side at first. But once they get to know you they love their cuddles and caresses.
We felt very honored to have won their trust rather quickly and it was fun interacting with the cats.
Overall a wonderful housesit which we highly recommend.

bronwen
Staying at Bronwens was enchanting —from the huge tub to the beautiful landscape. Frankie is intelligent and enjoys interacting—unless he’s ready to head out or find a spot to cat nap. Bronwen is a kind host and available for any questions. If you have a chance to stay—take it—I’d go again given the opportunity.

Sunil
Sunil and family were lovely to work with and Layla was the sweetest, most well-behaved dog. I loved my time in their "tree house" home and felt very comfortable. Layla was a treat to play ball with and she was a great companion. Totally recommend this family (and sweet Layla!)

Laura and Marco
Honestly this for us is a 100/10 sit for sure. We been doing sits for a long time now, and they were one of, if not the most heartwarming, responsible, helpful and communicative owner's we've encounter. Laura, and Marco, are extremely nice and caring people, and made us feel right at home, they have a gorgeous apartment, everything is clean and tidy, but cozy at the same time, which made our stay as easy as it could be. Gideon is a joy to be around, he's chatty, and always let you know what he needs, he loves his treats, and loves cuddles, is really well behaved, and he even know's how to high five!, he's independent, so that makes it easier if you want to see the city center for a few hours. The neighborhood is really beautiful and there's a few lakes and forest near by, which are awesome for going on walks and bike rides. We always had open communication, Marco and Laura answered all of our questions, gave us a full tour of the apartment, before arriving and a super complete Welcome guide, with recommendations, so we wouldn't miss anything! We had the chance of sharing the last two days before leaving with them, they were mega accommodating, and and we feel like we were leaving with new friends.
5/5 starts. We would recommend this sit for everyone, and would come back again in a heartbeat.

Constance
Connie couldn’t be a better host and Henry couldn’t be a better dog to hang out with! Even being during what felt like record-breaking temperatures this summer, I absolutely loved my stay there. The house was so peaceful to stay in and was in a great location, Henry was so sweet and calm, and Connie is such a kind human and enjoyable to chat with. I would definitely recommend!

Meg
I had Meg's housesit on my favourites list but was undecided about applying because I was unsure about the commute on public transport from San Francisco. However, Meg ended up reaching out to me to ask if I was interested in the sit and after she assured me it was an easy commute, I looked into it more and thought why not!

Meg was great with communicating before, during and after the sit. We didn't get a chance to meet in person but did video chat upon my arrival. Regardless, she was kind and polite and made me feel welcomed in her home.

Santa Cruz is a beautiful beach side town. The home is conveniently located within walking distance to supermarkets, cafes and restaurants. The home is beautiful and modern, with a lot of light and equipped with everything you need to feel at home. I highly recommend a soak with a glass of wine in the ensuite bath! Amazing.

Argus is a big vibrant and friendly dog. He followed me around like a tail and occasionally sucked me into giving him an extra bite of food with his puppy dog eyes. He is a big dog and would tend to walk me rather than the other way around 😅 after a couple of walks, I took him to the beach where I could let him off the leash and we had the best time on the sand playing fetch. If he weighs more than you (like me haha) I highly recommend beach runs over walking the streets, as he tends to pull you along which can feel a bit uneasy (Meg did warn me about this). He listens to instructions really well and was easy to distract with treats if another dog is approaching. He is a gentle and loveable chap.

I am so glad for Meg's reassurance on the commute as it convinced me to confirm the sit. The entire experience was worth it!
