Eddie

Eddie and Mabelitza were a pleasure to work with. They kept us updated with photos of our pup, and they were excellent communicators both prior to, and during the sit. They left our home clean and tidy, and our plants had been well cared for during a bit of a hot spell. Most importantly, our dog was relaxed and content when we arrived home. I would highly recommend Eddie and Mabelitza, and would welcome them back anytime.

Nathalie

Nathalie took excellent care of our kitty and home! She was super responsive and sent us cute cat pics every day. We arrived home to a very happy cat and very clean home. We'd be delighted to have Nathalie housesit again for us at any time.

Kristin was an amazing sitter. This is the 2nd time she sat for my 2 kitties and I could not recommend her enough. She was very communicative before, during and after the sit. She sent daily pictures and videos which allowed me to enjoy my time away. The apartment was left in immaculate shape. I could tell that she treated my pets and my home with great respect. My kitties and I would love to have her back to sit in the future.

Hannah

Hannah was a responsible and caring sitter for our home and our precious cat. Our cat had hurt her leg just a few days before we had to leave and Hannah had no hesitation to administer medication for the next week. Hannah also monitored her progress and reported to us. It was good to hear that our cat was no longer limping and was happy running around. We also had an unexpected issue, and along with our instructions, Hannah handled the situation calmly and sensibly. We fully recommend and wish Hannah the best for her next assignment.

Andrea & Danny

Andrea was excellent with our cat Winston! She sent us adorable photos every day and made us feel much better about having to be away for two weeks. She also left the house in excellent condition and was easy to reach. I’d recommend Andrea and would have her back any time!

Tracy and Jon took great care of our cat, sheep, farm, and home - again! They communicate clearly, are game for following complex instructions, and are very reliable! Plus our cat, Lefty, seems to really like them. :) So grateful for their caretaking help!

Jennifer and Chris were amazing. They were so thoughtful and communicative. We have two cats and both were a little shy to start out. Jennifer and Chris were so sweet and patient with them. Amanda & Jeff

Amanda and Jeff were absolute dream house and pet sitters! We have over 4 acres of property, 15 chickens, a cat and 2 wonderful but very energetic and idiosyncratic dogs. Not only did Amanda and Jeff take great care of the animals, we could tell upon our return that the cat and dogs had become sweetly attached to their love and attention. They were communicative and responsive as needed and kept the house and car in impeccable condition. I can’t recommend them enough. I (and the animals) hope they’ll sit for us in the future!

Eva was a great sitter for us. We had Eva sit for us twice, for a two week period and then she came back for a separate weekend. She took amazing care of our cats and our home. She communicated well, kept us updated and was very organised. We would definitely have Eva sit for us again if she was back in the UK!

Mike took good care of our dog Sparky. Our dog needed both eye drops and pills during Mike’s sit due to a recent eye injury. These were no problem for Mike which was a huge help.

Virginia

Valerie is a lovely, kind, and caring person. I really enjoyed meeting her and I know that she did her best looking after Freeport, Smokey, and Monkey.  We came home to a clean home, thriving plants, and pets that were happy to see us. As well, Valerie had made sure basic groceries were stocked and had prepared a perfect dinner for our return after a long flight.  

That said, the cats did not seem to have been as well cared for as Freeport.  Monkey has gained a fair bit of weight and Smokey has lost weight, was dirty, and seemed kind of sorry for himself. 

Also, despite being very clean our home was in much disarray - most things had not been put back where they belong, the litters had been overfilled and placed in such a way that access was very difficult for the cats and they were getting covered in litter.  We spent the first day of our return getting everything back in place and we are still finding things that were misplaced. 

I suspect we had been spoiled by previous petsitters who were as attentive to our home as to all our pets, and gave very regular updates on how all 3 animals were doing.  I also think that the needs associated with each animal and the extensive details of all my instructions may have been overwhelming for Valerie. 

For a smaller home with a dog or 2, Valerie would be a dream. As I said, she is a charming and compassionate person, and all my neighbours enjoyed meeting her.

Lisa-Marie was so lovely, kind, and communicative. She sent us lots of pictures of our dear cat as well as was flexible with our stay! I would recommend her to all!
