Dani is one of the smartest and sweetest dogs I've spent time with. She loves nothing more than being outside catching a fisbee, swimming, and making friends with people anywhere she goes. At home she was patient and calm with me, and would also lure me to play tug of war or catch in the backyard. :) Martina and Chris are wonderful pet parents - they were very generous with their home, and I felt immediately comfortable after meeting them and during the house sit. Communication was a breeze, and they were very responsive to any questions that came up while caring for Dani. I hope to be back and spend time with Dani again! In such a beautiful neighborhood of Seattle.
I had a comfy stay in Hove.Nikki was very informative and left very clear details.The flat is situated very near Hove and with easy access to all the other seaside towns along the coast.The cats were loving and sweet and I would highly recommend this sit .
If you get the chance to stay in Gail and Marks wonderful home and hang out with Mr. Bojangles, do it! Everything is recommendable about this sit: Mr. Bojangles is the sweetest cat (we still miss him), the neighborhood is beautiful and everybody is friendly, the house is gorgeous and last but not least – Gail and Mark are truly nice people. They were helpful, considerate, gave us suggestions and really did so many nice things for us to make our trip the best, and we are very grateful for that. We came all the way from Denmark and had such a great time, thanks to Gail, Mark and their cute Mr. Bojangles.
A wonderful sit! This is a beautiful, comfortable home with a peaceful and relaxing garden. The home is well-located, walking distance from Cambridge centre, with its many amenities and green spaces. I saw Tony once during my stay. He's a lovely and good-natured boy who loves a cuddle! Because of the good weather, he seemed to mostly stay outdoors and would come inside in the evenings to eat/drink while I was asleep, before heading off again. Claire and her family were wonderful communicative hosts who left a detailed Welcome Guide. They were also very accommodating when my situation changed due to an unexpected hospital visit. Highly recommend this sit!

Lynda and Mike have a lovely home in a quiet neighborhood. Josie was such a sweet girl and I had a great week hanging out with her. The home is close to shops, restaurants and things to do in Fuquay-Varina, but you can also explore nearby Raleigh. Lynda and Mike were great hosts and I would be happy to sit for them again.

Perhaps even more important, this nervous dog mom was confident they were in good hands. As our needs changed over the years Diana has always personalized perfectly to the given situation, going above and beyond the expected. Easy communication and simple booking add to the positive experience. And of course, lots of visit updates with the greatest photos of some very happy dogs! I am so glad to have found Diana and her team - I always know my dogs have the best of care in their own home!
Diana has been in our family's life since September, and we are so thankful for her. We originally wanted some extra exercise for Ziggy--I work from home, but can't often take lengthy breaks during the day. Diana has been all of that and so much more! Perfect example is this Thanksgiving holiday. I came down with a cold out of nowhere and Ziggy (our 19 month beagle) developed what I thought was a hotspot. Long story short, Diana coordinated with me and came by to take Ziggy to Mahopac Animal Hospital. His usual Dr. Moore was not in, but he saw another doctor who was very helpful. In addition to regular text updates, Diana also called me so that the doctor could talk to me about Ziggy's care. Diana also recommended food elimination instead of allergy medicine, so we listened to her. This was a very short notice request--less than 24 hours, but Diana showed up and took care of our Ziggy like he is her own. We are forever grateful to having her in our lives. If you need a regular dog walker or more in-depth training, she is definitely the one to call first. We have learned so many things from her and things she has taught Ziggy just through routine walking!
Diana Paws is an amazing service. She and her employees take the best care of our Fur Babies. I can tell you personally I know her for a Good amount of time, and now with the care of my cats I would highly recommend!
Diana and Sam are amazing. We adopted to two dogs last October. I needed extended walking services for almost two weeks. I reached out and received a quick response from the owner Diana. She was flexible with our consultation and time frames. She made sure to invite Sam who would also be walking out dogs as well, so we saw names with faces. You can tell that Diana not just cares about the animals that she services but as well as the families of the pets. She was more than a wealth of knowledge when it came to certain issues or concerns that she might have seen in regards to our pet care, but she didn't make me feel we were doing a bad job at taking care of our pets. She wanted to improve our relationship with them and their health to keep them around for a long time. She wasn't afraid to get her hands dirty, as well which I loved. We have a very big drooly dog was drooling all over her and there was nothing but smiles on her face. I knew they were genuine smiles. Sam is amazing as well. I actually saw him in our neighborhood with two other dogs and got the longest I thought he was the owner, that's how natural he handled them. He is good with reading situations about dogs being reactive and taking the best courses of action.
Our black lab Chester absolutely LOVES the Diana’s Paws team! They have been great coming and taking care of him whenever my wife and I needed their help: especially when he was a little puppy. They’re experienced in taking care of pets and very clearly love each of the pets entrusted to their care. Diana takes excellent care of my dog Bailey goes above and beyond with her care ( ear cleaning and teeth brushing) Bailey loves her outings to the airport park and wading in the lake. She is always so very excited to see her and Diana is often greeted with the zoomies I would highly recommend her to care for your pets of any kind she is a true animal whisperer!

This is where we adopted our rescue pup JOJO from. It was a great experience, the staff was great and the process was fast. They sent us off with food collar and all her paper work and care instructions. She’s a handful and so loving. Now her and our kitten are best friendemies. I pretty sure all they adopted animals there are fixed too.

We took our English Bulldog here. We are about 1/4 mile from them. I had a great conversation with the owner. She was sweet, professional and nice. Matt from what we can see was treated fantastically. We highly recommend them.
Once again, a terrific experience. The facility is clean and the staff is caring and attentive. I hope that anyone who uses Holiday Tyme will leave the staff a generous tip. They deserve it. I have left my rottie here several times and they've always taken good care of her. They have separate stalls and an outdoor area. The staff is great and caring. Don't hesitate to leave your loved pooch there! Grooming is also available.
3 stars because the staff is very nice but our dog came back with a severe sinus infection. She is up to date with shots and has been boarded before with no issues. Unfortunately we won’t be back.

My dog was some what shy coming out of kennel. Lose his energy , like something happen to him from the Stay ! He is a different dog Now !!! Has no energy or qant to play , like he always did before the Kennel !!!!
We used Dogward Bound for years with both our German Shepherds who loved coming here. However, that was when Vincent- the owner and a certified dog trainer- ran the place. However, after recent management changes with Vincent nowhere to be found/seen AND our pup returning from here with a serious injury requiring surgery- we will not be using or recommending this facility. It’s unfortunate but it’s just the way things go with a 24-year old with no training in charge of several dogs at one time. Wish they would update their website!
We've used Vincent and Michelle at Dogward Bound for three years now, and it's comforting to know that our dogs are in good hands when there's a family vacation and we can't bring them along. Our two goldens board together, and one has epilepsy with special medication which needs to be given twice a day. Vincent and his wonderful staff make our dogs feel at home and go above and beyond to provide loving attention. Thanks so much and and keep up the great work!
Been taking my dogs to Dogward Bound for about a decade, and can't say enough good things about them.They have stayed for a few days or up to three weeks and I know they'll be treated like honored guests rather than just someone elses pets. To me the most unique advantage is the socialization aspect the dogs enjoy rather than just plain boarding or day care. They come home happy and tired, both great things
Dogward bound is BEYOND awesome. We have been boarding our dogs with Vin for over 5 years and I wouldn't take them anywhere else. Our now senior rotti/shepherd mix has a severe case of separation anxiety and would be a mess when we picked him from the vet or previous boaring situations. Now I pick up calm, happy and TIRED dogs. Vin truly is the leader of the pack and the dogs (even my stubborn old man) follow him without thinking twice. Simply the best!!
We have boarded our 3 guys with Dogward Bound a few times over the past 2 years. They just came home today after a 4 day visit and had a wonderful stay! The staff is very friendly and great with the dogs. I love that our boys can stay in a suite together. Drop off and pick up is very easy. And I think they are very affordable compared with others in the Westchester/Putnam area. I highly recommend Dogward Bound!
Hi all! Our Rocky has a great time running around on top of your mountain!! He gets great exercise there out with you! Beagles need it!!! I wanted to tell you how impressed I am with your additional staff Morgan is great! She is on it! sweet/friendly and great with Rocky BOTH her and Mary have been great with drop offs and pickups. Great additions from our last stay! We have been using Dogward Bound for over 3 years and with our faith in you it is the only way we get to travel and go to family events weddings etc. even got to go to ITALY for 9 days with the whole family knowing our Rocky was safe and sound with Vinny - only one to trust as he is an escape artist at Dogward Bound and gets to run around in such a large area!
I have boarded my pups for over 6 years with Vinny. I started with one senior rescue and have since added 4 more. They are small and stay together. I feel comfortable leaving them in such good hands. The pups have different medical issues and needs, and they are given great care. I highly recommend boarding/day care at Dogward Bound.
UPDATE: We put our German Shepherd and his beloved Mini-pincher companion in kennel for a week while we were on holiday. As usual they came back happy and healthy. Added bonus, our shepherd is so difficult he has always been apprehensive with anyone outside the immediate family. My wife and I noticed he gave goodbye kisses to both of the staff that helped them to the car. Can't say enough about Dogward bound. Absolutely, Positively the best dog boarding facility in the Lower Hudson Valley. I have a difficult German Shepherd to board and this place is the only kennel I've found staffed and equipped to deal with him. Vinny is Excellent. The dog comes home happy and healthy to boot. They are second to none.
Recently started boarding my two pup kids at Dogward Bound and from the initial phone call I was impressed with their professionalism and caring, friendly manner. At drop off those positive vibes continued. The girls are fantastic, so kind and caring and just a joy to talk with - you can tell they like what they do and care about the pets. My dogs walk in happy and don't look back at "mom" and when they're picked up they are in good spirits and healthy. I know my pups will continue to stay at DB for yeas to come and highly recommend trusting them with your four legged family members.
You can tell that the people who work here care about your dogs as much as you do. I boarded both of my dogs, and one of them has some behavioral issues so I was a little worried about how he would do, and how they would handle him. When I arrived, a nice guy came and got my dogs, and my dogs tails were wagging and they didnt even look back as they were walking away. When I picked them up, I got a great report for both of my dogs and they were tired and slept on the drive back. You can tell they were not stressed nor anxious and that they had a fun time. I will 100% recommend and I have already. Best place to board if you want to know that your dogs are in good hands!

We can’t say enough good things about Greg and Pappy Paws. It is very hard to find a reliable, responsible and loving dog walker you can trust — and Greg is all of those. He took time to get to know our dog and us during an initial consultation. Tess can be shy and she quickly warmed to Greg. She is super happy and relaxed on the days he visits. He sends pictures and updates with each visit, and takes Tess for full, long walks. Communication is also prompt (and Greg is patient with my many questions). Scheduling and billing is all online, which makes it very easy. Overall, Greg is wonderful — I highly recommend!
Greg has been great! We were looking for someone to check in on our puppy while at work. He keeps in touch throughout his visit, letting us know when he has arrived and how our pup is doing. Greg also sends us pictures during his visit. He has been extremely reliable and works with our schedule. I would highly recommend Greg at Pappy Paws to anyone!

I needed a dog walked very last minute because my usual walker wasn’t able to help out for the weekend. I contacted Pappy Paws Pet Care and Greg came the next day to meet my dog and see what services I needed for the upcoming weekend. Greg walked our 1 year old Chocolate lab for the first time this weekend. He was punctual and thorough and is always quick to respond to any messages. I have been searching for a dog walker since my hours can be long and unpredictable. At the initial meeting Greg stated that he had other clients with similar concerns. It is great to know if I get stuck late hours at the hospital he is willing to walk and feed my pup. He responded quickly and Mia loved meeting him. I had a hard time finding pet sitters for my vacation (my pups are not pleased with strangers) but Greg and Randyn were patient, encouraging and totally professional. They sent pictures and videos daily, so I wasn't worried about how the pups were doing. The highland pet resort is a great place to leave your fur baby while away.I left my golden retriever in there care and the staff went above and beyond to make my dog comfortable and help with his separation anxiety...and while away I got stuck with a canceled flight due to a hurricane and they accommodated my dog and were willing to make space for him until I was able to return. My golden came back a happy boy and was well taken care of! I will definitely use this doggy hotel again in the future!
I wouldn’t trust anyone else with my best furry girl. They are exceptional! My girl is used to lots of exercise. While she was with them, they took her for many long walks through the apple orchards surrounding their property. They kindly accommodated me calling to check on her while I was traveling (a much needed part of me feeling comfortable), and followed all directions regarding how to feed her the raw diet she’s on and the treats that I brought. As a huge cherry on the top that highlights their level of care and seriousness when taking care of your fur baby; on pick-up day, I noticed that there was an additional attachment link between her harness and collar. They took it upon themselves to add this safety link so that there was no chance of her slipping out of her harness while out on these walks. When they are taking these kinds of precautions, you know that your beloved best furry will be safe and cared for. Their onsite groomer does a fantastic job as well!
What a great place and staff....they understand dogs and did a wonderful job with my 10 month old and my 12 year old pups. I recommend them highly and when I did too will use them again!!
We have always been really happy with the care our pup receives here. She goes to doggy daycare and has so much fun she needs a nap for the rest of the evening after we pick her up. We also have boarded her here for several years and always feel she is well taken care of. The owners and staff seem to genuinely care and love the animals. I would absolutely recommend giving this business a try.
Highland Pet Resort is the best kennel in the area. Our dogs LOVE going there and come home well taken care of, well loved and happy. Chris and the staff are courteous, flexible and helpful. One of our boys had mobility issues for a while a few years ago and they continue to check in when he’s there, take care to have him avoid stairs and let us know if anything happens. Our other gets anxious when away from us and is finicky when eating, so they literally feed him from their hand, one handful at a time. Can’t say enough good things about them, highly recommend!

We just used Renee and Chris's amazing facility last week for our furry child. It was his first boarding experience and super successful. His week stay long was completely worry free, as we had full trust in the owners and staff for their fantastic care of animals. So many of our friends here have raved about them. What a great service and wonderful addition to our town. Our dog was happy, rested, and well exercised throughout his stay. I felt like I was leaving him with family. Thanks you guys!
Very good place to go for pet boarding. We take our dogs here every year when we go to cape cod for 2 weeks. Very stress free taking the dogs here. The dogs are very happy with there stay here. They get a nice bath while staying here. The nice part is everything you bring with your animals you get back when picking them up. And the pets belongings are in good shape and not broken when you get them back
Highly recommend this place. Every single employee we met was so friendly. You could really tell that every one of them loved dogs and took great care your pet. The facilities were super clean and we loved that our dog had an outdoor/indoor area that they could move between at their leisure.
Our dog, Barbara, who has SO MUCH energy loves going to Shepard and Grey Daycare (as shown in the photo). She gets excited even when driving up to Daycare. We have not found anyone as caring, loving and responsible as John at S&G! We've even boarded Barbara (who has never been boarded before), and she loved it. John also sends photos from the day and it's clear how much the dogs love playing and spending time with each other at S&G. Most of all, they get such an array of activity and space that allows your dog to be well socialized.
Fantastic facility! We've taken our senior dog (a rescue) to Shepherd and Grey since we got her, and that was shortly after the daycare/guest house opened. John is fantastic to work with, and his guesthouse is like a spa for our girl -- she relaxes in the sun room, enjoys walks on this gorgeous property, barks at squirrels, and watches the younger pups play. We especially appreciate the pictures and videos John sends us each day. You will not find better care anywhere in our area. Highly recommend!!!
We were a long way from home for a wedding in Beacon, NY and didn't want to leave our poodle, Max, behind. Shepherd and Grey's is very impressive, architecturally, with three levels and windows looking out to wooded mountains all around. The rooms are equipped as if dogs with credit cards furnished them: a real bed (if that's what your dog is comfortable with) plus a variety of cozy spaces and toys. John makes sure to take sociable dogs (ours is very gentle and an "only child" so he was excited to be in the company of other members of his tribe). I especially appreciate that this daycare/guesthouse for pets is a labor of love, because we are careful with Max, who is innocent as a child, and only wants to love us (and swipe the occasional tomato if given half a chance!) Highly recommended, Thanks again!
We can't believe how lucky we were to find John. We have a very nervous dog who doesn't do well away from us. He worked hard to make her feel comfortable and relaxed at his house. She looked forward to going every day. Most importantly, John went above and beyond to work with our ever changing work schedules allowing us to come early/ late to get her or would pick her up or drop her off if we needed him to. We can't express how great he is and how thankful we are for his service.
Shepherd and Grey is unlike any other dog care service I've used. It's a small, residential business, and they only take six dogs at once—which is a perfect group size for me. My dog, Sprout, gets plenty of exercise and socialization there, but she's also not overwhelmed by constant chaos or stimulation. I know the dogs play a lot but also rest, because John (the owner) sends me several photos and videos each day that Sprout is there. The areas where the dogs hang out are beautiful and always clean (check out the sunroom!), and S&G features a huge property for the dogs to hike around and relax outside. And John obviously has a way with animals... my dog adores him, and I can tell he loves her, too. If you're looking for a really special pet care service you can trust, with lots of individualized attention, then definitely give Shepherd and Grey a look.
During this extended closure, I am concerned for small businesses in the Hudson Valley, and Shepherd and Gray is one of our favorite staples of the area. If you are looking for a safe place for your dog to stay, if you have any reservations about being separated from your best friend, S&G will put all your worries at ease. We first went to John when we were planning our wedding - we wanted Penny to travel with us and share our special day, but it just wasn't feasible. And everyone we would trust her with was going to be at the wedding, so we were at a loss. The minute we stepped on the S&G property with Penny we knew it was the place for her. The facility is clean, John is very thorough with paperwork, making sure all dogs are up to date on vaccinations, and the property is beautiful and well maintained. My husband and I knew Penny would be safe and well cared for. Plus, John sent us daily updates, pictures, and videos. Penny is the smiling white lab in the photo and she can't wait to go back and play with friends once the social distancing ends!
Shepherd and Grey (S&G) provides exceptional care of your pet. We had a sudden need to kennel our dog for a few days. Our dog was very accustom to me being home with her every day. It has also been a few years since we have been to the dog park and we have not needed daycare or boarding since we moved to this area. My first concern was to make sure our girl had a positive experience. She is a big goof and this was going to be a big change in her routine. S&G 's owner, John, is wonderful to work with and provides the very best care in a calm, safe home-like environment. We were able to schedule a meet and greet as well as a half-day stay for a test run before we went out of town. So many great reasons to choose S&G: 1) all pet guests are current on vaccines 2) small number of dogs to ensure safe high-quality care 3) owner understands canine personalities 4) committed to providing an excellent experience for both the owner and their pet guests 5) daily photos and updates of your pet's stay. I have worked in pet care and welfare, there are several options for traditional boarding and kennel facilities. S&G is different, it truly is a guest house for your pet. We are so pleased with S&G we now schedule daycare visits just to let our girl socialize and get some hikes in, even when we are working from home. We board our black lab at Shepherd and Grey when we go away on vacation and absolutely love it. John is so hands on and really cares for any dog he is taking care of. We love that our dog has access to plenty of outdoor space, gets tons of walks and exercise on a daily basis and most of all is being cared for by a dedicated and experienced dog owner. I do not have to worry when I leave my dog with John. He treats her like his own!
My husband and I were expecting a baby and needed someone to watch our dog. Since we didn't know exactly when and for how long we'd need to board her, typical boarders were not ideal since you have to give exact dates. Luckily I found Shepherd and Grey online - John was willing to accept our booking without a definite date and was super flexible of the length of stay given our circumstances. We also loved the home feel for our dog instead of being placed in a kennel all day. We would 100% use S&G again and recommend them to friends. Very happy we found them!

I have been lucky enough to find Jessica for my two little fur babies. She has been so kind and welcomed my babies into her home with open arms. She also gives updates with photos on how their day is going. Her puppy jazzy is the cutest little thing and seems to love the visitors! Jess has been watching my French Bulldog Chester for about 2 years! Chester loves going to see Jess and her dog Jazzy! Jess is such a dog lover! Jess Has been taking care of my Pomski Nova for the last 2 years. She is a kind, genuine soul who truly loves what she does. Jess gives excellent one on one care, providing every dog with love, affection and most importantly respect. Her playful puppy Jazzy is the most adorable thing you could ever see; making the experience that much better. I am not the type of person who would just leave my dog in the hands of a stranger, and Jess and Jazzy make me feel at ease leaving my fur baby in their care!

Jessica took great care of my mini poodle for a long weekend. It was such a relief to find someone to watch our puppy that is close by, has other dog(s) around for socialization, and would give our girl the attention she needs. Great family run grooming business. We brought our older cat in several times to be groomed. They made sure to be very careful since her underbelly was very knotted. They were very gentle with her and do great doggy doo's too !!! I would highly recommend their business.
Horrible Nonetheless the owner is rude and has no customer service. I also think she isn’t educated on different dog breeds and how their hair grows. My dog has cuts all over. I’m not sure the people they have working there know how to cut dogs hair. I gave it two tries but this time i feel so bad putting my dog through that experience
The owner is very nice and they have always done a fabulous job on my Schipperke. Plus the Beacon Barkery is right next door so you could grab your furry friend a well-deserved treat!
Took my service dog to get groomed here and they were so sweet and patient with her, especially considering she is such a high energy labrador. They even spoke to me about some concerns regarding her collar being too tight which I really appreciate, it means a great deal that they notice stuff like that and will express their concerns. Just shows that they truly care about the dogs they groom. Will definitely be bringing her back here. She looks and smells great too 🥰
I have never been compelled to write a review, positive or negative, for a business, but I need other potential customers to understand what they can expect from Paws and Mittens. We recently moved to Beacon and brought our extremely friendly and loving maltipoo for grooming. When I went to pick him up, I was told that I should have warned the staff that he does not like his ears brushed so they knew to muzzle him ahead of time, which they did anyways and I was not consulted on. Again, our dog is very sweet, has been to the same groomer for years in Brooklyn, and had never been muzzled before. They also said that I would need to remind them next time because they have too many customers to remember. After I picked him up, he was extremely traumatized and would not stop scratching and licking himself, and was limping. He was also aggressive in a way that we’ve never seen before. There were also several spots that were shaved down to the skin with apparent razor burns. After a day of licking, his neutering incision incredibly raw.. We immediately took him to the vet to find out that 1. He now has an infection from being nicked, and 2. that he has a pulled muscle from rough handling during grooming. We have never had such an awful grooming experience and would NEVER bring him back here. If you are new to the area, or just looking for a new groomer, I would suggest looking elsewhere if you care about your pet.
I wanted to give this place the benefit of the doubt as my dog is a bit hesitant when it comes to grooming; however when i got the phone call that they were unable to groom her face because of her behavior i was highly suspicious. My dog returned home with razor burns around her private areas which have been highly irritating for her. She also returned with a razor burn so bad that her fur was matted to the burn with gunk. I will be sure to never return here.
I went in looking to make an appt for my cat. Their website and store front is literally called paws and mittens. They were incredibly rude as if I had lost my mind for asking. Because the owner is severely allergic to cats.i tried explaining my cat is hypoallergenic and such a good kitty getting bathe. They turned me away which is fine but don’t be rude and give me an attitude for inquiring.
this is the first time i take my dog here to be groomed and he came back with bloody ears 😡 they deserve to be shut down 😤 …

I have used Paws &Mittens in the past when Maria owned it. Then Selma took over and I continued to use her until my then, dog passed away. After a couple of years, I rescued a very tiny dog who is very timid and isn't a fan of grooming. The first time all went well and I was very pleased because her workmanship really is superior to others in the area. Sadly, the second time I brought my little dog to her, she had a few big dogs there that most likely made my dog a bit nervous and I can only assume, fidgety. His haircut was very choppy and he had some raw spots on his skin (in a male dog's very sensitive area)...it was either a burn from an overheated buzzer or the buzzer was pressed so hard on him that he was scraped. Since I wasn't there and my dog can't speak, I can only use my licensed hairdressing knowledge to assume this is how he was hurt. Sadly, I am no longer comfortable bringing him there😞 If you decide to go there, and you have a fidgety, nervous dog, this may not be the best place to go.
Ace is SO happy! He passed his evaluation at Pawsatively Petastic and now can go to daycare and boarding at this fabulous place! 15,000 square feet of CAGE FREE boarding where dogs of all sizes romp and play, both indoors and outdoors! This is like heaven on earth for dogs and Ace didn’t want to leave. I HIGHLY recommend this doggie daycare/boarding for anyone in the Westchester and Putnam area - you WON’T be disappointed! We’ve known the owners Lia and Ray for a long time, even back before they had this facility when they provided pet care in their own home. They are wonderful people, will treat your dogs like their own family, and will provide so much enrichment to your dog’s life through play and socialization with other dogs in a state of the art (however affordable) facility! ❤️
I had my multi-Pooh boarded with positively neglectful Daycare , for three nights. I did hear that there were some issues, but it was last minute and against my better judgment I sent him. ,When I picked him up on Saturday. he seemed disorientated as if he didn’t know where he was or who I was.At this point he was walking fine. I got him home a couple of hours later he couldn’t even walk. It seemed as if something wore off . He was in extreme pain. He would not walk. I could not touch his back or his shoulders legs and paws. He just cried. I was mortified and took him to the vet immediately. She said he was dehydrated and definitely something had happened. when I called the facility on Friday to see how he was doing, they said everything was fine. When I picked him up as soon as we got home he also started with stomach problems throwing up diarrhea and blood in his diarrhea. I paid $428 to the vet. I placed my dog in their care thinking he was going to be taken care of and safe, they refused to take any responsibility. They said I signed a waiver, which apparently gives them a license to abuse dogs. I see there’s some good reviews here but believe me I’ve heard some terrible ones I would definitely never ever bringing your dog there. Unfortunately dogs can’t talk . If mine could I would love to hear what was done to him . They put the big dogs outside in the dead of summer and is all you hear is barking consistently I believe in my heart that something is not right at that facility and I am going to look into it. It’s not acceptable to treat or neglect animals because someone signed a waiver. !!!!!!!!!’
These owners are loving people who are diligent and have the best interest for the pet in their comfort and safety and happiness. On top of that they run a successful business and not only keep best interest of the pet, but really secure a wonderful feeling for the pet owners.Safety and security and healthy atmosphere is what you will see here! Super nice honest people… can’t say enough! Just picked up my two large dogs from 3 day vacation…. These dogs of mine run free at my home on 2.5 acres……every day and still wine cry etc. Tonight? We picked up? My dogs are happy Healthy and zonked!!! They had tons of friends to play with with Amazing environment! So grateful and so thankful we have people and a place we can finally trust!
I was looking over 2 years to find a daycare for my puppy which is a Doberman and every place I called wouldn’t take my puppy until I called Pawsitively and they took a chance on Xena and I am just thrilled how much she loves going here. The owners and the staff love Xena . I moved and I am driving a little more because I know Xena loves this place. I take her for daycare and boarding. I trust them 100 percent, maybe one day Xena will let them give her a bath and cut her nails Lol.
Marcelo grabs his collar and is ready to go when he hears “let’s go see Raymond at pawsitively”. It’s his home away from home. Only people I trust with my boy. He goes in by himself most of the time and announces his grand arrival!! Comes home happy and exhausted. 5 wagging tails for pawsitively and EVERYONE who works so incredibly hard to take such great care of these pups.
Daisy loves pawsitively petastic. She can't wait to get in the door to see her doggie friends. She's happily exhausted when she comes home with a smile and tail wagging when we say doggie day care.
I left my dog here for overnight boarding for 6 nights. It was her first time being with people and a bunch of other dogs that he didn’t know. I called two days in a row to check on him and I was glad they didn’t sugar coat anything. They were honest with me about how nervous he was. But after a few days he did great. When I picked him up he was ready to go back inside and even went to one of the coworkers to get a kiss before he left. They are so sweet and it’s an awesome place. We will be using them again in the future.
Star and I found our other loving family right under our nose on Route 6. Star is very social and playful but truly thinks she is the size of a Toy Poodle. Apparently something happened in her early formative years that causes her to be shy with dogs her size. I explained all of this to Lia, Ray, Emily and Maryann and they accommodate us by allowing Star to mingle with the "littles" and the medium size dogs. She firmly reminds me at 6:00 am when it's her doggy day care day and waits not- so- patiently as I get ready. She can't wait to go visit her friends, both human and canine, and comes home happy and exhausted. The folks at Pawsitively treat both of us like family and we couldn't have found a more loving, caring place to care for our wonderful greyhound. Try it for a day or for an overnight stay. You and your dog will be hooked! There is no better place.
My GSD is so happy here. He gets so excited when we arrive he doesn’t even hesitate to go with the staff. He is even happy when we board him. Lia and Ray and their staff clearly love the animals and the environment is clean and comfortable. I highly recommend this business.
I have been bringing Sadie here for some time now for one a week daycare and socialization, and have used them for overnight boarding a few times. To put it bluntly, alI have to say in the morning is , "Do you wanna go play with friends" and she would drive herself there if she could. She LOVES it. and when I pick her up , I get a fully exhausted and had a full day of play pup :)
Eileen is absolutely fabulous and took care of our furbaby as if she were her own. Eileen sent multiple videos and pictures throughout the day, and our it was clear that our pup was having the time of her life. Our pup is also a very picky eater, and Eileen had her eating like a champion; we were truly amazed. It was so reassuring and comforting knowing that our pup was in Eileen’s care. We will be using her for all of our pet sitting needs!
I give Eileen and 24/7 Petcare the highest possible rating!! I don’t trust anyone with my dog. Eileen however earned my trust the day I first spoke with her. She truly understands canines and their behavior like a true professional! Now I feel comfortable leaving my Cooper with her when I can’t take him with me. I am writing this review with such joy. My dog had such a good first time experience with Eileen. I was worried about this being her first time away from us and with a pet sitter. I wanted to make sure she was going to be happy and comfortable. I had a lot of questions for Eileen, and her answers made me feel comfortable with leaving my girl in her hands. We took a quick two night trip out of town, and wanted to see how our dog would do. We were hopeful it would go well because we have a week long cruise coming up in several weeks. Thankfully we were so pleased with the experience. Eileen sent us a ton of pics and videos throughout the stay. Seeing for ourselves that our dog was doing well really put our worries to rest. When we picked up our dog, she was not stressed or unhappy in any way. It was like she was at a family member’s house that she knew well. This really confirmed that we put her in good hands. This being my first experience with a pet sitter I know the stress that you feel and the worry you have. All you want is to find someone whom you and your pet can be comfortable and happy with. Eileen definitely provided that. I have already recommended her to a friend of mine, and I’m happy that we now have someone who is a great option for our dog. I feel like I can now be at ease knowing our dog will be in good hands while we are away on a longer trip. I would recommend Eileen and her services.
We had a fantastic experience with Eileen! We recently moved back to NYC and were looking for a dog sitter/boarding outside of the city. We specifically were looking for someone who would be hands on and attentive with our dog, and who had space for her to run and play — but we did not want a “camp” environment with too many dogs, kennels, etc. Eileen was very communicative through our booking process and throughout our pup’s stay with her. Beyond providing our dog with a great stay, she went above and beyond and provided helpful nutrition recommendations and guidance that we’ve since put into place. We could rest easy during our trip knowing that our pup was in good hands, and will definitely be booking with Eileen again!
Eileen is very responsive and thorough with the way she conducts her business. She was clear about the pricing and directions to the drop off location. Although the pricing is way higher than what I am used to - the money was well spent as my girl, Trixie, got the care and attention she needed while I was getting married. I would absolutely recommend this dog boarding service to anyone and would definitely be a return customer myself.
Eileen welcomes your dog into her family as one of theirs. Outstanding experience for dog and owner! My dog had new friends to play with, and I got so many pictures and videos from Eileen. Her home is exactly how you want your dog to be cared for. Eileen is also very knowledgeable about proper nutrition and dog foods that are actually good for your dog, which was so helpful for my finicky eater.
Eileen is amazing! She watched my mini Bernedoodle while my husband and I got married in a town nearby. Eileen sent pictures and videos so we knew he was in good hands. We also arranged for her husband to bring Snoopy to the ceremony so he could be there for pictures and walk down the aisle. They also helped recommend a new harness. Eileen is a dog lover for sure! I love that Snoopy doesn’t sleep in a crate, is well fed, has grass to run around, and is watched over by a true animal and dog lover. Would leave Snoopy there again for sure!

Eileen took amazing care of my poodle-pup Ollie while we were on a week+ long vacation last month. She was super responsive and the daily photo and video updates set my mind at ease knowing that Ollie was safe, happy, and having just as much fun as we were on vacation. Eileen provided excellent pet care for our 5-year-old Border Collie Katie. We were sent many photos & videos & enjoyed watching Katie playing with her new friends. We could see Katie was in good hands & felt right at home. We highly recommend Eileen as she is knowledgeable, professional & a true animal lover!
