Lori took great care of my two cats and my house for over a month. She is a very self reliant, clean, calm sitter, happily dealing with sugar ants that appeared all of a sudden, (and they've gone now thank you Lori), buying more cat food as needed, collecting my mail and parcels from the post office and never mentioning the construction that stated next door while I was away, her patience is far greater than mine for noise! She was traveling for her environmental awareness job in Alaska and heading down to South America when she stopped at our place in Portland Or. Kevin was a great host and his adorable pack - Shylo and Max - were entertaining weekend companions. His house is in the middle of gorgeous woods and close to some historical sites, with complete peace and quiet. The dogs are pretty self sufficient and I was provided very clear instructions to make everything easy. The experience was very easy and comfortable, almost better than home to be honest.
This housesit was an amazing experience. First, Jacqui and Thomas were very welcoming and communicative. I felt very comfortable in their home and asking any questions that arose. They put me in touch with a few people in the community which was really nice. The morning dog meetups were very enjoyable (both for me and Zuma) and provided some social time that was especially nice due to being alone. Zuma and I had a really good time exploring the endless trail opportunities. There is so much to do if you like hiking! He is one of the best dogs I’ve ever had on walks. Both on leash and off. Sure there’s the odd cat or chamois that will make him wanna chase, and he is a big guy, but nothing that can’t be handled easily if you have some strength and experience. Our walks were my favourite part of this sit. And also the amazing mountain views! We did walk and hike a lot so at home Zuma was pretty chill. He let me do my online work and meetings in peace and he barely barked inside after the first couple of days. Didn’t encounter any issue with Zuma nor the house. I loved it all. And communication with Jacqui was easy, friendly and reliable. I definitely would have taken her offer to stay longer if I could!

My partner made contact 3 weeks ago to book a trial for our beautifully well behaved 21 month, 29kg female Doberman. We were referred to the London office to schedule a trial date. He was informed that they were not accepting large breeds at this time. I had made contact again today to see if this was still the case and if they had availability. Unfortunately, after speaking to the London office I was told the owner has never accepted entry for 'guarding breeds', and that they're not covered by their insurance. Which is strange, when I first researched them I saw guarding breeds on their IG (attached). It's frustrating as you'd expect that a business that supposedly cares for animals would not condemn or have entry restrictions on dogs for any reason other than behavioural issues.
Fabulous place to take your pups! My dogs absolutely LOVE going to see Grace and Paul at Humphrey and Bo, they are so knowledgeable and amazing with them. Couldn’t ask for a better place for my dogs to stay. Thank you!
My boy is a nervous little thing, and needs a slow and careful introduction to new situations. Everyone at H&B took great care of him, and he now loves going there. We’ve even progressed to overnights. The environment is perfect, and staff very caring.
Amazing place, the grounds are wonderful with so much space for your doggies to roam and play , my dogs ( one of which can be nervous) had their third visit and they were so so happy , lovely staff , doggies had a great time , my nervous one was showering staff with kisses when I collected them ❤️ I had no worries when I left them, the most perfect place , highly recommend
My Masha, 6 months old, stayed at Humhrey&Bo one week. It was a great fun for her as I have been sent daily videos and photos. I will definitely use in the future again. Masha is lookin forward to see permanent guest Tia the Frenchie again. Big thanks to Mark.
