Dena and Noah were some of the most thoughtful, interesting, responsive and organized housesitters we’ve had. They were quick to get on a zoom call when I first reached out to them, asked helpful questions, shared information about themselves and scheduled a walk through a day before the sit began. They took great care of our pets, communicated regularly with updates and sweet pics and videos and left the house as clean as they found it. We had scheduled for them to do a second sit a few days after the first one ended which we unfortunately had to cancel due to my partner’s health. Dena and Noah were understanding of it and swung right into action to explore alternatives. I couldn’t recommend them more highly!

This was Kayla and Rob’s second sitting. I was thrilled when they responded to the posting., Our dogs took to them immediately and the bond formed was evident. One dog was recently diagnosed with diabetes so his care was demanding, they were In good hands. The injections, food, regular walks were all documented. Our home was treated with respect and as clean as we left it. We appreciate kindness and care they have given our pets and they will always be welcome in our home. Rob and Kayla exemplify Trust.

Sam

Sam was great! I'm so grateful he was available for a last minute sit. He was a consistent and timely communicator and was lovely to chat with. He even helped me out with a couple extra feedings before his official stay, which was very kind – and very appreciated. My cat can be a handful, so I was relieved to receive photos of him relaxed and cuddling with Sam. I felt at ease while traveling and I came home to a happy pet and a tidy apartment. I highly recommend him as a house and pet sitter.

Shirley

Shirley and her husband Brian stayed with Luna for 10 days while we visited friends on the West Coast. Luna lived her best life with lots of walks and extra love with Brian at home too (Luna was Brian’s friendly shadow.) Shirley shared regular fun photo updates. Once again we came home to a happy dog and clean home, complete with some delicious food in the frig and sweet notes around the kitchen. This was our 4th sit with Shirley. We have loved getting to know Shirley and her wonderful family, and feel so lucky that her work brings her regularly to Boston. Thank you Shirley and Brian, we look forward to seeing you again!

The Fries family were wonderful. The dogs really took to them and this was obvious right from the beginning. This is very unusual for Beulah who is usually very shy. The dogs had a wonderful time and both of them became very attached to the whole family. Lots of walking and lots of cuddles. They are a lovely warm, friendly family, totally capable and responsible. We loved spending the time we had with them and they cooked us a lovely supper for us all on our return We could not have left our animals with kinder people.

This was the second time I had Brittany care for my dog and I was again very, very happy with her. She obviously loves my dog and takes very good care of her. She was very flexible on arrival and departure time, which was really helpful. The house was very clean and neat when I arrived home and she took care of some household things that arose. She’s all-around pleasant to deal with and reliable.

Beth was great! I had the pleasure of meeting her before my trip. She was well prepared and incredibly reliable. She took great care of my babies while I was away and sent me plenty of updates. Zaquia was such a great communicator and took excellent care of Sadie! I immediately knew I’d feel comfortable with her taking care of my dog and staying in my home. Sadie can be shy and Zaquia did an amazing job helping Sadie feel comfortable. I came home to a clean house and a very happy doggo.

Katherine was very responsible and took such good care of our dog. We would use her anytime in the future. We felt confident that our dog was in experienced good hands.

Susan and Jim arrived on time and had been very aware of my "brief" regarding my dogs.  Joey (the jack russell) can be a little nervous of new people, but he seemed so relaxed from the start.  Susan and especially Jim won him over and were friends.  Tia followed Susan and loved the attention she got.  When I was away I received regular up dates and photos which were much appreciated.  The house was so clean and tidy when I got back and they had even washed the bedding and towels.  Jim had also fixed my water butt as it had been very dry and the garden pots were in need of some water and they looked at these as well.   This wasn't requested but they did it anyway and it was so amazing.  I would welcome them back anytime and anyone thinking about Susan and Jim for a sitter should feel very confident to leave their home and pets in their loving care.

Marie arrived exactly on time as promised, and our black Lab Cooper took an instant liking to her. We could tell he would be in good hands. Marie was flexible and accommodating to some special requests (our grandkids needed to come to our house while we were gone to have their piano lessons).
When we arrived, the house was spotless, the guest room sheets were in the laundry and Cooper has happy and healthy. All in all, we rate her a 5-star sitter.

Mark

Mark and Sijo were awesome hosts who went out of their way to make sure we felt comfortable during our stay. They were pleasant and easy to communicate with and made us feel very welcomed as guests.

The neighborhood felt friendly and safe and there are lots of beautiful places to walk around in the area. The house is across the street from a nice park. One day there was a live Shakespeare play on the grass that was lovely to walk by and see. We enjoyed seeing the dogs at the nearby dog park. There is a community-based market within walking distance. All around a fun and relaxing area to spend time in.

You can tell Mark and Sijo really care for their cats by the set-up they have for them in the home. Miso and Rainer love spending time in the cat hammocks perched on the windows. They were always eager to be fed in their puzzle dishes and curious to see what we were up to.

Rainer and Miso are both super sweet and have slightly different personalities, but they seem to have a special bond with each other. Miso loves lap time and Rainer enjoys pets and nuanced chats. 

We really enjoyed getting to know both of them and were sad to say goodbye when it came time to leave. We would happily house-sit here again and recommend this sit to other cat lovers. Thank you for having us!

The cabin is absolutely amazing, a great place to relax and enjoy the tranquility of the area, but it's also close to everything you could possibly need. Opi is super easy to care for, she likes to go outside during the day but definitely loves her indoor time by the fire at night. She is one of the sweetest cats I've ever met and kept me company during the rainy days. She loves to cuddle and sometimes play. Miranda and her boyfriend were absolutely great to me before, during and after my sit, I couldn't recommend them and their home more!
