We loved our few days housesitting for Jan and John. They were superbly well organised, gave us every bit of information that we needed and made us feel like friends. Very easy to look after indeed. We hope that we will get invited to sit again in the future.
It was an absolute pleasure looking after Kate and Chris's house and their two gorgeous, curious and playful cats, Lili and Pepper....We loved it. The instructions on what to do were super-clear and very easy to follow. The house is in a great location; be sure to check out Blenheim Palace if you get the opportunity. Sandra and Terry were great hosts and they took the time to show me around the property and answer all my questions before leaving. They explained how to take care of the chickens and they were patient with me when I made mistakes. They were great communicators and the house was very comfortable for working from home. I loved watching the chickens and the chicks in the yard and watching the sunsets in the evening. It's a beautiful place with lots of things to do close by. I went swimming at nearby Sly Park on one of the really hot days. I miss the chickens already and I would definitely stay there again.
