Lovely house and lovely family. We enjoyed Chewie and Nimeria thoroughly during our sit. Chewie was happy to tag along to the park and the river and also chill at home watching a movie. Nimeria was a champ with her insulin shots. She took a minute to warm up to us, but we won her over quickly enough. They both enjoyed our attention but laid low during a record breaking great wave. The location is great and easy to get around town.
Joanna, Archie, Ruby and Aussie are amazing hosts! I spent 6 happy days at their beautiful cottage! I love that we spent time quality time before and after the sit, so we had time to share some of our life stories :) They are very generous and the house has all the comfort one needs and more. Aussie is a ball of love and happiness. He is so kind and affectionate, and he made me laugh a lot. With Aussie welcoming you in the morning, you start the day in great spirits! The house is well located near beautiful woods where you can take Aussie for walks, and this was one of my favourite moments of the day. Joanna is always quick to answer messages and communication is easy. I am looking forward to going back soon! Thank you family!
I had the pleasure to stay with Katy & Lucio for two weeks and enjoyed every minute of it! I agree word for word with the feedback left by the cat-sitter who preceded me, be it about Katy & Lucio's respective personalities, the quietness, comfort, and great location of the apartment, or Vanessa's easy-going approach. During my stay I had a lot of work to do (I'm a digital nomad/nomadic artist), and it was the perfect, quiet environment with the lovely company of these two funny, sweet, curious, playful, easy to take care of, and very friendly cats (I'll add that Katy is a true angel 🖤). Felt really sad when I had to tell them goodbye! (this is actually the saddest part of being a cat-sitter...) I'm also doubly grateful to Vanessa for accepting me as cat-sitter, since this was my first stay with this website (I've had some previous experiences through another platform), so her trust takes a special importance; to her go my most heartfelt thanks!
5 + stars! What a fabulous stay! I was so blessed and thrilled to be chosen for this sit. I met Laura and Lindsey the day of their departure. They are excellent hosts who are very friendly, generous, kind, and rolled out the welcome mat for my arrival. I felt right at home as they provided me with some of my favorite snacks, bottled water, and they even accommodated me with a floor fan for my comfort at bedtime. I had everything I needed or wanted and I was completely comfortable throughout my stay. Communication was great from start to finish. Whenever I had a question, they responded immediately. In advance, Laura shared their detailed and thorough Welcome Guide and even printed out a copy for easy reference. Laura is extremely organized, meticulous, well prepared, and her attention to detail about Kaia's routine was impressive. She went over Kaia's routine, showed me how to measure her food, and she even took the time to go over dog command hand signals for Kaia. Laura took me on a wonderful tour of their beautiful and spacious home which is a relaxing oasis of serenity, privacy, peace, and calm. I had a private bathroom and comfortable bed in the guest bedroom which had extra drawer and closet space which I greatly appreciated. Their home has a lovely decor with numerous windows letting in the beauty of the outdoor nature/landscaping. They have a beautiful backyard to which is great for lounging with a book and enjoying the scenic views with Kaia sunbathing nearby. In addition, downtown Ann Arbor, restaurants, and supermarkets are just a short drive away. I particularly enjoyed the food at Fleetwood Diner which is open 24 hours. Laura and Lindsey are awesome people--but now on to the star of the home: From the hosts' listing, initially when I saw photos of Kaia and read about her, I immediately wanted to meet her. Their listing mentions that Kaia "is an enthusiastic greeter" and she did not let me down. From our first meeting, Kaia greeted me with a playful jump on my leg, a wagging tail, and smiling eyes. Instantly, we became fast friends. Kaia is so cute, adorable, fun, smart, and has such a sweet spirit! I love her beautiful brown and soulful eyes which melted my heart. She is a true joy to be around and a playful companion. I was always excited and eager to start my mornings with Kaia as I knew that it was going to be a fun day! Kaia is very active, energetic, has great stamina, and we had multiple walks daily throughout the neighborhood. Kaia is a strong girl and does pull on leash some, but she also had moments also of good loose leash manners. Kaia would let me know which way she wanted to go on walks...after all, the walks are for her. However, she was also good at letting me lead her by saying, "this way" or "come". In addition to walks throughout the neighborhood, we went to other cool places in the area, including County Farm Park, Saginaw Forest Trailhead, and Leslie Park. They all have nice walking trails along with much so much to see. Kaia was such a great friend to have along on these adventures. She is perfect in the car and Laura even provided a dog car seat cover for me to use. Kaia knows basic commands and then some. It was my pleasure to work with her on reinforcement training. She even sits politely for her meals and waited for me to say "okay" (while giving eye contact) before she began eating. Kaia liked being near me, not in an obsessive way, but maintaining her independence as well. She enjoys her naps, snuggling, and giving affectionate kisses. Kaia is up for playtime at any time. She loves tug of war and her basketball. With the basketball, I would dribble it and Kaia played good defense in sometimes stealing it away. Sometimes she would bring me either toy to initiate play by dropping it in my lap. 🤣 Kaia loves her meals and treats and would remind me when it was time for her special treats. Sometimes I would have random conversations with Kaia. It would be funny when she would cock her head to the side trying to understand what I was saying....maybe she did. 🤣 Caring for and spending time with Kaia was endearing and an honor that gave me joy. Pups like Kaia are the reason that I love pet-sitting. She is a pup treasure and it was so delightful seeing her happiness of what each day would bring. Misty-eyed, I was sad to leave my new pet friend and missed her as soon on as I pulled out of the driveway. She kept me smiling and laughing. I love her and told her so every day. 😀 Laura and Lindsey: Thank you again for opening up and welcoming me into your home! Thank you again for trusting me to care for your home. Thank you again for entrusting your wonderful baby girl into my care and sharing her with me! Thank you again for your hospitality and kind generosity! What can I say Meg is an awesome cat, she's easy to care for, she's hilarious and gives awesome unsolicited massages 🤣. Meg is well behaved when you leave the apartment and though she gets upset when you close the bathroom door for some private time she'll sit at the door and wait for you after the first few tries. She's super snuggly and if you throw her toys up she'll leap to catch them, pretty amazing to watch. I haven't met Esther but she was very kind when we spoke, left easy and detailed instructions and reminders and was always ready to answer questions.

Absolutely fantastic. Tom has walked my dog on a few occasions for a week at a time. As I was recovering from an operations. My dog got to the point where she saw Tom coming to my door she would drag me to the door once the lead was on as she was so excited to go! She came back happy and happily snoozed the rest of the day away. I cannot recommend higher absolutely fantastic. Thank you!

I emailed and received a genetic response that they would be intouch that was a few weeks ago nothing since. I am new to the area and wanted to meet new people whilst having fun learning with my dog. Very disappointed
