Veronica and Adam were amazing cat sitters. They sent regular updates, followed my instructions carefully (thank you!), played with my kitties more than I do (ha) and even bought them toys and a kitty igloo! I mean, WHO does that?? Highly recommended and I can't wait to have them back soon!

This was my first housesit, and wow did I get lucky! Kona and Maui are absolute sweethearts, and Sandeep was the most welcoming host! I hope to be able to come back to LA again in the future to see them. You'll be lucky if you get chosen to housesit here!

Melanie
I highly recommend staying at Melanie’s home with Cassie if you get the chance.

Melanie was so welcoming and kept up great communication. She left me a detailed guidebook along with all of the supplies I might use during my stay. She is so friendly and engaging. I love meeting fellow travelers and I’m so glad we connected through this site!

Melanie’s home is gorgeous and SO comfortable. I enjoyed using the hammock in the backyard during the day and sitting on her comfy couch in front of the fire at night. Her neighborhood is great for taking walks, accessing parks, and stores are a short drive away.

Cassie the cattle dog makes this sit an absolutely amazing experience! She will LOVE you! She takes just a few moments to get to know you then she will quickly form a strong bond. She’s such a fantastic companion offering lots of hugs and snuggles. Looking at her smiley face just warmed my heart. I miss her and hoping to see her and Melanie again soon!

ELENA
This Post came on last minute when the Covid 19 mess was already cancelling the sits.
I ve asked Elena if there was a possibility of cancellation as i was struggling to flight back overseas and she said not at all.
If we dont travel you are More than Welcome to come with No restrictions!
And this is what happened. We had nice whatssapps chats, she sent me all directions and a super welcome guide.
It would certainly have a wonderful time looking after Elena, Dani and Camille's beautiful home and caring for the gorgeous Odin and Minty. The location looks perfect for taking the dogs straight out to the woods running behind the garden.
An Oasis of kindness and Peace in the beautiful UK countryside.
Countryside so close to London but for sure a very different atmosphere!
If i come back to London...if not for sitting..i will take a train at Euston just to greet and thank you for all kindness for a “ stranger”.
Yes, because i didnt manage to go...flew in a hurry back home but i will love to housesit in the future. Highly recommended already for the very little i could know from the family!

Lee and Joanne
A lovely little house set in a very rural area - peaceful and tranquil, but with nice villages and visits nearby. Joanne had done everything to make my stay easy – including videos of things like how to open the front door which was really helpful! I had a restful week there and the hens were no trouble at all. I enjoyed looking after them. A very easy sit from this point of view! The house is also very eco-friendly: it uses very little water, the heating is just done by a single woodburner (which *is* enough for the whole house, as it's small), everything is recycled, composted or given to the hens, and there's a composting toilet rather than a flush one. It separates the....liquids from the solids, so you take both containers to a compost heap and empty them. I have to say I didn't find this too pleasant – not because I'm squeamish (we actually have one of these at home for a yurt we let, and we empty it ourselves) but because the 'separating' part didn't always go to plan, however careful I tried to be. You may have a different experience, but I felt it was important to mention. I much prefer modern plumbing!

I had a wonderful time looking after Diesel and staying in Lindsay’s lovely home. It was super clean and comfortable and the location made it very easy to walk around or to hop on the tube and go into central London. They kindly provided basics like milk and bread and I did the rest of my food shopping on the second day.

Diesel mostly did her own thing but I was happy when she chilled with me on the couch. She’s very lovable and won’t say no to pets!
