The first most important thing for me is that the hosts are welcoming and kind and easy to love. The dogs and the cats are all very sweet. One of the pups, Lexy, is so eager to please that she was quietly just reading my mind and doing what I needed her to do before I even gave any commands! Basil is a big snuggle bug. The cats are regal and sweet and funny all at once and no bother at all. The hosts were really responsive whenever I had any questions about anything at all and were grateful when I sent photos of the pets. Luckily they took me to show me around to the good off leash beaches and orient me around the island, that was great. Also important: they have really great friendly helper people in place for the house management and if anything went wrong. For example, there's a pool guy who keeps the pool in good order, a yard man to keep care of the yard, and people who come to collect the coconuts from the 3 coconut trees. When there was a little problem with the car, the mechanic came and picked me right up at the house and fixed it licketysplit! I had a problem with my work laptop, and right away the community Whatsapp group told me who the computer guy was, and he helped me at 7 a.m. over the phone. All of the above super cheerful. Overall: Clearly, I'd come back. :) I feel like the longer I was here, the more and better I got to know truly interesting people (friends!) and organizations on the island, (yoga, Hash Harrier Hikes, there’s even a francophone association) so there's more to explore and enjoy for the future if I ever do come back. St Kitts is gloriously beautiful to explore too! Beaches and snorkeling and bars and cafes and museums and gardens and the sugar train and Liamigua coffee plantation. I am sure you’ll have as much fun as I did and run out of time too :).
Laurie was a great host and Theo was such a sweet dog. I appreciated Laurire's communication and would love to sit for the family again!
We had a lovely time sitting for Katriona and Rupert. Even though it was a short week, we found it a lovely experience. Very welcoming hosts, beautiful house and grounds. You can tell so much love has gone into everything. A really special place. Thank you for having us!

Where do I even begin? Susan and her staff have been quintessential for my family’s well-being. My husband and I are both officers in the Army, and we frequently deploy to training rotations and have recently had a nine month deployment overseas. PlayTime Pet Sitters has been a pillar of our pet care while we are away at work. We have an assortment of pets, which includes three birds and two dogs. I simply would not trust any other business to take care of my animals in my absence. There is a lot that I could write about the special care and authentic love for animals Susan and her staff have, but, I will instead summarize it with a single event. In January of 2022, our beloved dog swallowed a plastic squeaker that became lodged in her small intestine. I was alone, as my husband was deployed to a training center, and it was the middle of the night when I took my dog to the Emergency vet. About $7000 later, my dog underwent emergency abdominal surgery, and was recovering well. It was about 9 PM by the time I got her care plan, and I was overwhelmed with anxiety about how I was going to manage her post-operative care, as I had a week-long field exercise starting the following morning and I would not be home. I contacted other pet sitting businesses in Colorado Springs, and they all refused to schedule visits so last-minute despite my desperation. I contacted Susan at PlayTime that evening around 2 AM, in tears, desperate for a sitter that could care for my first and only dog as an adult at the time. Susan could not have been more superb; she reassured me that she would help me, and provided me with caretakers that gave my dog the best post-op care. Including feeding her baby food three times a day, and administering all medications with only written instructions from me on a letter I left for them in my home. PlayTime Pet Sitters has taken care of my family for well over a year. Their care is unmatched, and their dedication to animals is admirable and almost unbelievable. I have had a wide range of pets my entire life, including iguanas and a variety of farm animals. I am passionate and serious about my pets receiving the best care possible. I do not and will not give my business to anybody else in Colorado Springs. I would pay double the fee if it meant I could guarantee Susan and her team would look after my pets. If you are looking for a business that will love your furry, scaly, and feathered family members as much as you do, look no further. We had a great experience with PlayTime! In the past we’ve boarded and had friends watch our cats, but this was much better for the cats and us. They are very thorough, attentive, and professional. We felt good knowing that some of the people watching our cats actually had experience as vet techs or were studying to become vet techs. We got pictures and messages at each visit and it was nice not having to worry about the cats at all while we were away. And when we got back the cats were completely themselves! In the past they’ve had about a 2 day period of being mad at us.

Playtime Pet Sitters is the best pet sitting company in Colorado Springs! The prices are reasonable, but that’s definitely not the only great thing. They truly care about your animals, and isn’t that the most important thing? We hired them to care for our pets during a weekend away, and I will never hire anyone else. They came ahead of time to meet our dogs and see where the dog food and crates were. They were polite and thorough. I made a mistake in the scheduling, but they were happy to work with me and make sure the pets were cared for. They came each day at the scheduled time and took lots of pictures! They even leave a little handwritten report of what happened while you were away. I never worried about the dogs because I knew they were in the best hands. If you’re on the fence about hiring them or still looking around, you’ve found the right place. You will not regret it! You won’t find a company that can give you as much peace of mind while you’re away from your fur babies!
Loved my experience with PlayTime Pet Sitters! I went on a last minute trip out of town for a weekend and they were able to accommodate my request and were very professional which I appreciated. My cat and I got to meet my sitter (Susan) before my trip and it’s clear she has a lot of experience with pets and is very trustworthy. She made a lot of effort to understand my cat, his habits, quirks, favorite toys, and so on, which made me more comfortable with leaving him for a weekend because I knew he would be in great hands! We needed a pet sitter to care for our new cat and they took such great care of him while we were gone! Followed instructions to a T and sent lots of cute photos from the visits. We came home to a happy kitty, a nice report card of how they spent time with him , and all of our mail stacked neatly inside. Sam is the best dog sitter Ive ever had! He’s so attentive and active with the dogs. I always feel super safe and calm leaving Axle with him. Axle loves being with him so much that I have to force him to get in the car with me to go back home. That’s how you know your pup was well taken care of!
Not only do we love and trust Sam to watch our dogs but THEY love and trust Sam. Anytime we are gone or working we have zero concerns knowing our Leonard and Lola are under Sam’s care. Even if he isn’t watching them, If my dogs hear his whistle, they go running to him to say hi! They adore him. Sam is not only a reliable caregiver but is also a great trainer. And he’s always a phone call away if I have any questions at all regarding my dogs behaviors. Seriously could not have found a better dog situation for my sweet mini Aussie Olive while in CO Springs for a recent work trip. Sam was great, and it’s apparent he enjoys the dog’ company! Olive is a shy girl, and this was a great way to get her socialized in a friendly environment with an attentive human to moderate. Sam communicated well and sent lots of photos throughout the day too.
My dog (Porter) has so much fun here, he doesn’t want to leave when I pick him up! Sam is so thoughtful and attentive in caring for dogs. I love that each pet gets a tailored experienced based on there needs. I enjoy the frequent updates/pics and convenient/flexible meet-ups. Sam has been a life saver, helping me now for 1.5 years with a very active Husky who loves playing and running with the Pack. During this time, Sam has provided great training and discipline skills that have been very noticeable here at home. Sam has been the very best since he has started caring for my dog, Harlow. He is flexible with my schedule and accommodates pick ups and drop offs as needed which eases my mind when I work long hours. He also makes a point to send photo updates on how Harlow is doing throughout the day(which is what I most look forward to). Harlow comes home every day tired and happy which is what we love! Sam the Dog Man was fantastic with our Girl Belle!! We are enjoying an extended road trip with our RV and our Pup and we (on occasion) have a need for daycare/overnight boarding for her. Sam has been very responsive and super easy to coordinate her care with. We met for a meet and greet and toured his home where he is very organized with the care of his "regulars" and those passing through..... like us. He is clearly a "Dog Person" and enjoys what he does. He takes the pups to the best local dog park each morning to play and run and wear themselves out.... Belle was whooped each day after pick up and was calm all evening. He also offers care for doggos who prefer quieter time and individual walks instead of group play. The location is perfect for our weeklong visit to Colorado Springs and we couldn't be happier! Don't hesitate to leave your FurBaby in the care of Trails and Tails Dog Adventures! We are very happy with the care given to our 2 dogs while we were traveling for 12 days. They visited 4 times a day, every day, even in over a foot of snow that fell during this time. They fulfilled every special request - even brushing both dogs' teeth every day. We received reports including pictures after every visit. They are very reliable and kind. I wouldn't hesitate to use their service in the future.
The most amazing service possible! First, you can tell Marley (my dog) absolutely loves every pet sitter that comes to spend time with him. Second, they take the most amazing pictures ever! DID NOT GET SERVICE! But I need to note their amazing customer service. Called for 6 days of sitting 5 days before we needed it. They told us what they could manage with the short notice. They then told us they could accommodate our entire schedule thanks to the owner stepping in to care for our pups! Rare to find an owner who goes the extra mile. That level of commitment is why I will trust them in the future. This time a relative stepped in last minute and gave our pups 24hr care so we canceled. The owner was just happy the pups were getting the best care possible. Come for the professionalism. Stay for the love.
PlayTime Pet Sitters is amazing! I recently had to travel for a week and had to leave my little dog for one of the first times. Susan, Amber, and the team were so wonderful and did everything they could to work me into the schedule. My little guy was so well loved and cared for while I was gone. PlayTime Pet Sitters were great with our dogs! Since our dogs get far too stressed in a kennel we used to rely on friends, but that was a lot to ask. Playtime Pet Sitters came the the rescue and allowed us to make sure our older dog got his medication on time, and gave our puppy much needed play time. We got photo updates along with a description for every visit and they managed to clean our yard, get mail, packages, and put out the trash too! I'm glad there's such a reliable service in our area and we're looking forward to using them again.
We recently needed someone to take care of our aquarium while on vacation. Playtime Pet Sitters came to our rescue. Hannah handled everything with expertise, sent us detailed notes as well as pictures of her visits, and assured us that all was well. I used them over my December vacation in 2023. They're absolutely amazing. There was that mysterious dog disease that was going around and made pet parks and boarding facilities a risk. So I looked into pet sitters. They were very communicative with me about each visit they had each day, made sure to send pictures of my dog, and they eventually even found where the one cat was hiding! (and send pictures of the cats as well). My dog scraped her nose on something and they handled that very well. All of this is great because my dog is older and would have been very stressed in a boarding facility anyways. The ability for her to stay in her room, in a familiar setting, was great. I'm definitely using them again.

This is a review I should have written a long time ago! PlayTime Pet Sitters are amazing. Whenever we need to go out of town, they take excellent care of our little Tonkinese boy, Chip. They provide him with his asthma inhaler, and take care of him so well that he is always happy when we get home. We appreciate the photo updates and the attention to detail. After going through many other boarding solutions (which our cat hated), we could not be happier with the at-home care PlayTime provides. We are so thankful for each of you - Kerry, Ally, Hannah and Brittney (who braved a particularly nasty snowstorm for Chip), you are all awesome. If I've forgotten anyone else, Chip loves you too. :)
Erin is a very loving and professional pet sitter. When you meet her you can tell right away she adores animals, and is very knowledgeable about their needs. I am so grateful to know her. She is one of the few people I trust with my dogs and turtles!
They are great the owners have been very accommodating and understanding with my circumstances and the employee that comes to care for my 2 dogs is great. Seemed to start out ok but soon saw that he was not ever there for the amount of time I paid for. Maybe 10 minutes tops. I have moved on and requested my key back several times with no response from them. I would not recommend.
We are very fortunate to have found this company. We have used lucky pet for two vacations now and both times we ran into a situation and had to extend our stay and our service. Gary was extremely responsive and made sure our pup was taken care of. Both Jessica and Gary took care of our dog while we were away and it was a relief to be able to see pictures and updates. Our dog is a rescue and she would not do well at a kennel so having the comfort of knowing we could leave her at home in her surroundings and visits through out the day makes the service more than worth it!
They killed 3 of my frogs and never did anything about it. They lied about taking care of my small animals, they were never feed or gave water. Their food was never touched. They were paid to be there for 30 mins twice a day and were there 10 mins twice a day early in the morning and late at night. I will never use them again you shouldn't consider using them. They automatically took money from me and never paid me for the frogs I lost. I would give a negative number if I could. Horrible service
The company's employees failed to complete the terms of our contract. Sitters were supposed to come check on my cat for 15 minutes a day. Thankfully I was able to see them coming in and out of the house through my ring, because I saw that they were not staying anywhere near the 15 minutes. When I got home today, I found that the medicine that I requested be administered to my cat, was never given. I am so absolutely disappointed. I will happily never use this company again. Don't ever use them! This is your warning!
I am so, so grateful to have found Lucky Pet at Home! When I was in a bind, the owners really helped me out. They were so accommodating, and have been nothing but amazing every since. The care my pets receive from Brittney (and Gary too!) is beyond exceptional, and I feel as comfortable and safe with them in my home with my fur babies as I would with my own family. The online system is so convenient too. I can't say enough good about these wonderful people and their services, and I would recommend them to anyone!
While the people running the service are incredibly kind, my experience left a lot to be desired. I was able to book last minute for a month’s worth of services, so that was great. Updates on the pets are hard to come by and pictures of them are even harder. One of my cats is very good aggressive so I was really sure to give details instructions on how to feed them so that the food aggressive one didn’t wind up eating everything. Came back home to one of my cereal bowls and both of their bowls overflowing with dry food. The non food aggressive cat has lost quite a bit of weight while the food aggressive one has definitely gained weight. The litter boxes have definitely been cleaned at least once since I found a trash bag full of the old litter stuffed in my trash can. In the day since I’ve been back both cats have been sick all over my carpet due to the food situation (nonaggressive threw up after trying to eat too fast; aggressive one has been having diarrhea which tends to happen when she over eats). Not to mention I found one of my drinking glasses being used to measure out their food. The app is great in theory but rarely actually gets used.
We have been using LuckyPet services over the last year. They have been nothing but courteous, prompt and loving to all 5 of our animals. We highly recommend their services as they go above and beyond everytime! We always feel so great knowing they are taking care of our pets while we are away.
Business failed to fulfill service contract. Specifically, sifting/cleaning cat litter on a daily basis and topping off the fish pond. When we returned it was obvious that neither the litter nor the fish pond were attended to per our agreement. In addition the pet service employee was to spend 30 minutes twice daily to attend to these task but was observed spending as little as 5 minutes per visit. Lastly, given the poor service we requested our property keys be returned. Two weeks later after multiple phone calls and text requests--to the business owner--one of the two keys were returned. The second key was finally returned after another follow-up with the business owner. In summation, the trust I placed in this business to care for my pets was violated--which is unfortunate given the owner seemed sincere; however, actions are more telling than words. That said I cannot in good conscience recommend this business.
I wasn’t quite sure what to expect but Gary went above and beyond his services. I think he did such an amazing job caring for our cats, then finding them a wonderful new home! You will be forever in our hearts!! Thank you so much! ❤️
Jason recently took care of my cat while I was away for the holidays. He did the basics like food, water, and litter box, and also took the time to give her some attention and play time. He sent me a picture every day so I knew she was happy and cared for. I also felt better knowing he was there to check on the house as well. His prices are very reasonable and well worth the peace of mind his services provide. I will definitely call Jason again next time I have to go away for more than a day or two.

Owner of this company was amazing! Went on a 9 day spring break trip and my border collie/Aussie mix was a very anxious dog and got in to everything he possibly could. Jason handled it with a positive attitude and didn’t make me feel bad while I was away. He cleaned everything appropriately, and if he’ll take my anxious mutt back, we’ll definitely be using his services again! *WAY BETTER PRICING THAN PLAYTIME PET SITTERS*
Jason is amazing, he was my go-to in an emergency when I was out of state. He genuinely care for the animals and the safety of them. I always received reports of any problems, and he solved them if he could. AMAZING.

After trying (unsuccessfully) to find a reliable pet sitter on Rover, I was so happy to work with Play Time Pet Sitters. This was our first experience using a pet sitter for our two dogs and it was a wonderful experience. They were professional, paid attention to details, always on time, and best of all… the dogs were at ease and got lots of care and attention. They were always in communication with us and we enjoyed the updates and photos sent. They go above and beyond to help bring in packages, water plants, etc. I was very impressed that even our shy dog allowed them to pet her. They got lots of play time in the yard, went for walks, and got treats while we were away. I highly recommend and will be using them again in the future.
Based on her past history with her previous owners, we were concerned about leaving our kitty girl, Gis. We were afraid she would feel abandoned...again. Kayley and Anne took such good care of her. The ladies from PlayTime sent us texts and photos every day! Gis was one happy cat. We are very happy owners and will most assuredly use PlayTime Pet Sitters the next time we travel.
Playtime Pet Sitters is a great company to take care of your precious pets. I have had great experiences interacting with several staff, from asking questions about signing up, website bookings and service outline, to showing off our old cat’s hiding places and sleep spots. Each person took our feeding and care routine seriously and asked several times if medications were needed or other household tasks could be done. This service has really put our mind at ease for making sure our Archer is looked after while we are out. It seems no task is too small, and we look forward to using them more.
If you're on the fence about using a pet sitter... Book this one. We had never left our dog with a sitter or a kennel before and a last-minute trip out of town had us needing to do so on short notice. After talking with the wonderful office staff I already felt better about hiring these guys vs. dropping our beloved girl at a kennel where we would be all extra stressed. The first meeting with the sitters made us feel even more confident in the decision to have them come take care of her at home. You can tell the sitters know how to interact with dogs and they were stellar during our thirty minute preliminary meeting. Went over everything they needed to know, made sure they knew where her food and water was, etc. Were very patient and professional, which we really appreciate since the four-legged kid can take awhile to warm up to new people. While we had a whirlwind, hectic, sometimes stressful trip, we had one less thing to worry about knowing that our dog was being well looked after and wasn't upset in a strange place. The check-ins and photos we got just lifted our spirits during such a tiring trip. Everyone was great about updating us, and making sure our girl was fed and walked and given treats. Most of all, it really feels great knowing that they're not just caring *for* your fur family, they care about them too. Our dog wound up getting along with them so well, which would not have happened if they weren't kind and respectful to the animals they look after. Such a great staff working for this business, we would not hesitate to use them again or recommend them to anyone.
