This was yet again another wonderful pet and house sit experience.
The hosts Tara and Steve are so kind ,welcoming and generous. Tara so kindly even picked me up from the airport and it was a late night arrival . She gave me very clear instructions and everything was so easy to follow .
Henry the dog was instantly my pal snuggled with me at nighttime and we both enjoyed our walks in the amazing walkable neighbourhood .Pippin is a very sweet and social cat . Loves petting and enjoys checking out the neighbourhood from the cat window seat . I'm hoping our dates match up at some point for a return visit.

Steve and Carolina are awesome pet parents! They have a lovely farm sanctuary just 25 minutes outside of Nashville. The home and property are beautiful and peaceful. We loved our stay there.

Gracie and Hobbes are the best! They are the sweetest dogs imaginable. Gracie is a huge snuggler and loves hanging out on the couch all day. You can also tell how much she adores Hobbes. It's so cute. Hobbes isn't a couch snuggler, but he loves to come up to you to lick you and ask for pets. He's definitely a protector and takes that duty seriously. His spot is right by the front door. If you open the door and just make sure the screen door is firmly closed so he can't get out, he will guard the house all day and night.

The 10 pigs were surprisingly easy to take care of. They just need to be fed twice a day and have their water bowls filled. I did have an issue on the first day with Shirley getting out of the pig pen when I opened the gate to give the piggies some treats. Steve contacted me right away over the phone and walked me through how to get her back in. He was so helpful throughout the process. I appreciated how understanding he was because I definitely felt bad she managed to get passed me! I decided to only feed the pigs over the fence for the rest of the week to prevent that from happening again, and everything from there on out went smoothly with them. The pigs are super cute. They get so excited at breakfast and dinner, and they absolutely love any healthy treats you can spare from the kitchen. Throughout the week, we gave them apples, carrots, cucumbers, rice, bread, and tortillas. No food went to waste during our stay!

The two chickens are also easy to care for. I just went in, made sure they had food and water twice a day, and checked for eggs. They enjoyed some of our fruit and veggies scraps as well.

Steve checked in often to make sure we had everything we needed for a successful house sit. Overall, we had a wonderful time.
