This is the second time Starlet pas pet sit for Lucky Stripes. Starlet cared for him, gave him meds, and sent me awesome cat videos. Our home was tidy when we arrived home. Starlet did confuse the last day of the sit, and left one day early. She owned up to the mistake and apologized.
The dog Lea was very friendly
Thank you Maura for your invite to sit with Tiny and Snowy. They were such a delight , full of personality and very lovable. The Area is very quiet and very well located for exploring Sligo and it’s many hidden treasures. When we arrived Maura showed us her nearest dog walking route ( Hazelwood ) on the shore of Lough Gill . It was beautiful . We also took them further afield and they travel well in their doggy crate in the car. We had a lovely weekend with them , thank you Maura , Tiny and Snowy we hope to see you all again soon
Stacey and Michael are dedicated and thoughtful cat lovers-- I really enjoyed looking after their good little kitties on this sit! They provided well-organized clear instructions and were super easy to communicate with throughout the whole stay. Thanks for choosing me!
Wonderful time with Tama and Tombo. Peaceful setting. Such great communication with both Kate and Michael, and helpful, detailed instructions left behind. I knew I could get in touch with them if an emergency arose. I highly recommend this house/cat sit in an stress-free, calm and supportive setting with two sweet, four-legged pets.
Cory and Megan are very organized and wonderful communicators. Their two kitties, Kiko and Twix were the two friendliest cats I have ever encountered. They are like a little welcoming committee! I had fun playing with them on their cat condo. Twix is a major athlete and high jumper. He plays soccer with the cat coils throughout the whole house.. Kiko loves to hug and chase the string up and down the cat condo. Their home is clean, efficient, and well-stocked. The guest room was very comfortable. I sat during the winter, so I didn’t walk the neighborhood, but the donut shop ½ mile away has the best buttermilk donuts! I am happy to return to care for these loving kitties.

I cannot be anymore grateful for the quality of service I received after taking my two rabbits for some much needed grooming. The knowledge, professionalism and care shown was 11/10. I wish to say a personal thankyou, both from me and my partner and I will definitely be re-booking in due course.
This is the 3rd time Jane has looked after my hamster Bertie and the first two times seem to have been fine but I cannot even describe how upset and angry I am when I have returned home with him this time after leaving him for just over 2 weeks. There was mountains of wee in the corners and his litter tray, his bed was dirty and all wet with mould at the bottom. The water was stagnant and had scum in it. My poor baby has been living in these conditions. I wouldn’t normally do this but this is a living creature who needs and deserves the best care and this was not it.

My treasured pet rabbits have stayed here on numerous occasions. I know while they are there they are in extremely safe hands with masses of rabbit knowledge and experience.

Diane has boarded our chocolate Labrador, Bentley, on a number of occasions now and he absolutely loves his holiday. We always know that he is in safe hands when we leave him and Diane keeps us updated with photos. She also provides home visits for our cats to feed them and spend time with them so that they don't have to go into a cattery. Would highly recommend.
Cannot recommend Diane and family highly enough both for dog walking and boarding. Sadie loves her yearly 'holiday' where she is treated as one of the family. We have no worries leaving her, safe in the knowledge she will be well walked, looked after and cuddled! The regular updates whilst we are away reassure us she is having a fantastic time.
I Have been taking my springer spaniel dog Cooper here from been a puppy he has always settled in well and when we go to pick him up he cant make his mind up if he wants to stay or come home with us they treat him like there own dog it's well run business and keeps everything up to date we can go away with piece of mind knowing he will be safe and loved in home surroundings not in kennels. .
Absolutely cannot recommend these guys enough, the care and level of attention they give to each dog in their care is amazing! I have a 5 month old Labrador who is a hurricane at the best of times but has come on in leaps and bounds thanks to this team. Myself and my partner are so grateful for their knowledge, care and support, as is our little fur baby 🥰 She would be DEVASTATED if we didn’t have these guys!! Get your pooch to Barkley and Co!!!
Went above and beyond with the advice and practical help. Kodie is a rescue dog and he is definitely a work in progress. He looks like butter wouldn't melt in this photo but he is reactive to traffic and other dogs, We have one more session and I'm sure G will put us on the right track going forward
Completely outstanding establishment, our dog has been going every week to day care since we had him and he really loves going and doesn't want to leave ! You can tell all the staff are really passionate and care about all the dogs. Superb long opening times which are a god send. The puppy play on Saturday is also marvellous value.

12 months ago I decided to send my Dog Gus to daycare and I can honestly say its one of the best decisions I ever made. He's loved, looked after, and best of all comes home exhausted! He's learnt to socialise a lot better, is more obedient and is now a master of the agility course. Thank you Barkley and Co, I really cant recommend you enough!
My dog loves Barkley and co. He loves the staff and cannot wait to get in for the day. The whole team are excellent and I feel totally comfortable and confident he is safe and well cared for. He is a nervous spook greyhound and has gained soo much confidence since coming regularly.
This place is not just somewhere you can take your dog for day whilst your busy working, this is a second home for your pooch, the staff are amazing, the facilities are great. Has soon as I pull up in the carpark my dog (Scraps) knows exactly where he his and can't wait to get out of the car to go play with his pals. An amazing day care for your dog.
I noticed some 1* reviews so thought I would share my experience with Barkley's. My dog Reggie has been going for over a year to day care. Barkley's are a god send. It has given us complete piece of mind that our dog is cared for throughout the day. It's sad to see some 1* reviews - I am grateful that Reggie is not alone throughout the day. He comes home shattered - could pull a lorry on the way in he's that excited and the staff are wonderful. Really caring people who talk to your dog like they're a human (dog owners know exactly what I mean). The staff know exactly who the dogs are they remember them all by name. You get a report card at the end of the day so you know what they've been up to. The personal touches from the staff throughout the year are lovely. This day care is one of a kind - also the hours are brilliant for anyone working!
My dog Millie has been attending Barkley and Co on a weekly basis for the past 6 months or so. She absolutely loves going there and comes back absolutely shattered which is always a bonus. The staff send a daily report via email at the end of the days we can find out who she has been playing with. Some reviews have mentioned that the dogs come back smelling but this is part of dogs playing together, we have this issue when she's is playing with othe dogs at the local park and it is part and parcel of dog ownership. A great business and I would recommend to anyone.
My dog goes to Barkley & Co every week. He really seems to enjoy and benefit from his time there. The facility looks very well equipped and organised, and the staff have always impressed me with their care and professionalism. They genuinely care about the dogs, and know how to look after them.
This is Scooby who has just returned from a stay with Linda & Harry in Pudsey. I would love to say what a fantastic couple they are. I would love to say how much Scooby would like his next holiday to be with them. But if I do everyone will want to take their fur babies to them and I won't be able to rebook them. Thank you is not enough to express our gratitude. Harry is officially Scooby's new BFF , but he does love Linda too xx
Just brought Mollie home from her first Petstay. She loved being with Harry and Linda in Pudsey and they loved having her. Such a lovely couple, and thanks to Cheryl for organising at such short notice. Will definitely use Petstay again.
