This place puts you on an automatic minimum £30 a month subscription from your first visit, which has a 2 month cancellation period meaning that you are forced to pay at least an extra £60 even if decided not to come back. This a complete scam
Booked a Splash Park Sunday session a few weeks in advance, but didn’t receive confirmation despite payment being taken. Tried to email and call but no answer. Turned up and no staff there, park left open with filthy water in the pool (whole reason why we went was to encourage puppy to swim but didn’t want him entering foul water). There was no sign saying the business park would be locked and we got trapped inside for 30 mins. Just as I was ringing the police (because of course no answer from Dogs Aloud), someone else came in so we could escape. Nightmare experience.
Our rescue puppy started going here a few weeks ago. We were told one his first visit that he was “Too confident”, which should be a good thing considering he is a 4 month old rescue!! We continued to take him as we wanted him to be socialised, however on his second visit we were told he has been moved to the large dog room at 4 months old because he was too much for the medium size dogs! Although we have been told time and time again he is now with the large dogs, we haven’t seen 1 picture of him at dogs aloud since his first visit. We have no idea where he is, what he is up too as we get no feedback and have had no pictures of him. He returned again, and this time we have been told his is very close to be added to the “red list” (He has been for 3 half days). Each time we dropped him off and picked him up, we were met with little to no feedback on his day, and if we were given feedback it was always negative. He is a 4 month old puppy, if a facility as large as this is unable to handle him, I’m not sure he is the issue. Wouldn’t recommend!
Left my dog there for a trial day but when I picked him up I left feeling very worried about what had happened during the day. I was told he had been hard to handle and while they didn't want to put him on the red list I got the impression that was what they'd say if I took him again. My dog is a lab puppy only 8 months old, and was very hyper when I picked him up. I got no pics or written report. Honestly wouldn't take him back there ever again. I cancelled our account that night.
I missed my dogs grooming appointment as I forgot which is my fault. They charged me the full groom which is in their terms and I can't argue with. However, there were no appointment reminders and they didn't make any attempt to call me when I didn't show on time as I still could've made the appointment as I live close by. Even a follow-up call to say that I have missed my appointment offering times to rebook would've been better. After billing me for the full appointment I emailed politely asking if I could rebook at a discounted rate given I had paid full price for a groom & called (several times) and could not get through. I had no response. I would've even rebooked at full price if I had some degree of response! Generally poor customer service to a repeat customer with a young dog which would've given them years of grooming bookings. Now I will take my business elsewhere.
My dog loves it here and I love that. The staff are superb, they are extremely knowledgeable on the welfare of the dogs and I know he is in safe hands. There are updates during the day, with pictures of him having a great time, which is brilliantto see. I honestly would not trust any other doggy daycare like I do these guys to look after my dog!
Booked into the outdoor fields last night, as looed very good on pictures and we needed some one to one training with our pup, £20 seemed ok looking on the site, we arrived and almost walked away instantly, the water yes for dogs. Did look ok we chucked him in with his ball and witjimg 30 seconds the water was bright green, and the poor lad absolutely stunk of rotten water, we then had a look at the agility parts, and well, some decking built into boxes and a walk way of tyre's wasnt really what we exoected, the sand pit was absolutely vile also, then to top it of there's severel dogs poos lying around! £20 is an absolute rip-off, only go if you're digs not nervous next to a very busy main road to! WILL NOT be going again
Facilities and staff are absolutely amazing. My 1 year dog is very wary of people and won't approach them, but he adores the staff here. He loves going twice a week, gets so excited as we pull up and barks if they don't take him in quick enough. Can't thanks the staff enough for the care they provide. His confidence and social skills around other dogs has really come on since going to Dogs Aloud.
My dog loves coming to Dogs Aloud. She always comes home absolutely exhausted which is a bonus! She started going for day care from about 4 months which really helped her develop social skills. The puppy social classes are also great and introduced her to loads of new situations and people. The staff are really knowledgeable and having a shop/groomers on site too is really useful!
Dogs Aloud is AMAZING! I can’t recommend them enough! Our puppy Ellie visits once or twice a week for half a day and she comes home exhausted and content. So much so she spends the rest of the night asleep! She drags us straight in the door when we arrive and when she comes out, she wants to go back in. All the staff are so friendly, caring and helpful and you can tell then genuinely love the dogs. Dave and Allan are happy to answer any questions and are always welcoming. We were struggling to get Ellie socialised enough due to the weather and her only being on short walks, and Dogs Aloud has made a big difference to her. They have a wide variety of activities to keep the dogs entertained. I would highly recommend using Dogs Aloud to everyone!
