Bella Bella Bella!!! what a beautiful girl. I had a wonderful time with Bella on Vancouver Island. She showed me all her favourite trails. The best was watching Bella leap in the air catching her favourite soccer ball. Bella lives in a beautiful home with a garden fit for the London Garden Show. Joann and Wayne are delightful people who possess a dash of kindness, a sprinkle of generosity and a splash of joviality. The Welcome Package was concise and easy to follow. If you get a chance to meet this lovely family you will be fortunate to leave with a smile in your heart.
Sitting for Xander's little family was very nice, easy and a pure joy. A video call meeting prior gave me a good impression and introduction. Xander is very nice, very generous in answering any questions. He sent me a document that gives you all the necessary information about the house, the emergency contacts and most important the cats (personality, habit, food regime, etc.). I was also very warmly welcomed by Fred who gently introduced me to the cats, reviewed the instructions and answered any questions I had. It definitely made it easier for me. Also it was reassuring that Xander kept contact with me during the sit. The nice and comfortable guest bedroom is dedicated to the sitters. That makes you feel more at ease and welcomed ( basket of snacks was a nice touch). You can sense throughout the house all of the attention and love given to the cats. Everything is set for their well being, safety and comfort. As for the babies, JET the youngest was my COUP DE COEUR. He welcomed me right away. He followed me everywhere. He wanted to be picked up like a baby, laid on lap when I read or watched TV, visited me on my bed in the morning and at night. He was such a sweetie and a very good companion. Emy and Frost are older and mostly loved to nap all day in the sun and under the blankets on Xander's bed. Once in a while one of them would cry loudly but you only need to talk to them gently and replace the blanket on top of them. Emy warmed up to me the second day. Her tiny little delicate body cuddle up on my lap one evening, my heart melted. Frost came close to me a few times to give me headbutts but he is more independent. It was a short stay and I didn't feel the need to go out exploring the area. My priority was taking care of the cats. The house is located in a nice suburb. There is a park nearby that you can walk to. I believe though that having a car would make it easier for a longer sit and if you intend to visit Montreal. In conclusion, I highly recommend this sit if you are a cat lover and I would gladly return. I shall miss you my little buddy JET.
If you get the chance to care for Ralphie, grab it. He’s such a character! Lots of Tricks, cuddles and that face 🐶 he’s adorable. Alexandra and Luke are fantastic hosts, their home is a lovely area of Saskatoon with parks and walking paths nearby. They are incredibly welcoming and their home was comfortable and an overall 5 star stay.

Paw Haven is the BEST boarding facility Ive ever found. I've tried at least 7 different places over the last 10 years & I'm truly in awe with the care & attention they pay to the animals here. I had my dog stay at other, bigger, more known boarding facilities & always had issues whether they didn't have enough people watching the dogs or the place wasn't that clean or sanitary or they wouldn't feed my dog & I would pick her up later looking all thin & frail. Paw Haven was such a BETTER experience! They take such good care of the animals & really care about their well being. I left my dog there for a while when I was traveling & my baby girl was so happy there. You could tell because she would eat regularly, play, get outside and get sunshine & all the love. I almost wondered if she even wanted to come home with me. The staff there are all very friendly & professional & I truly cannot think of a better place & experience that I've had living in Los Angeles all these years. Grateful to have found Paw Haven & will always be sending my dogs & all my family & friends there!

I found this place on Google and based on the reviews decided to give them a shot. I have a Dutch Shepherd (1st time boarding) and she is very reactive and does not get along with other dogs, but that was not an issue with Paw Haven! It was an amazing experience from the initial meeting to pickup. I couldn't be happier with the service. The staff is super friendly, and kind, and they will take their time answering any questions that you might have. I was able to get updates via text message, which gave me a peace of mind and also the variety of services they offer is next level. I did also get the daily walks package they offer and over all I couldn't be happier with my decision in choosing them. Definitely call them to take care of your fur babies. You will not be disappointed!

This place is PAWesome!!! It's decorated so cute and you can tell the owner really loves dogs. She is there herself on a daily basis at the front desk overseeing everything. The dogs have so much space to play and run around, and the rooms for boarding are beyond adorable. There are no crates or cages for boarding, which I love, and they have someone who stays overnight with the dogs! Their groomer is super caring and friendly, too. Overall, the vibe is like that of a family member who would take care of your fur baby like their own. Can't ask for anything more than that!

Paw Haven is a FANTASTIC facility run by genuinely kind and caring staff. We are out-of-towners with family in LA, and need to board our dog periodically — Paw Haven will be our go-to! We ran into some car trouble on our way, and the staff were incredibly kind and accommodating. They have staff onsite 24/7, and lots of boarding options so we could feel confident leaving our pup there. Our dog Laszlo had a blast and was clearly very happy (and tired) when we picked him up.

She’s extremely knowledgeable about how to care for dogs, flexible with my timings, and just an overall pleasure to talk to. We recently picked Lucy up from a 16-day stay, and not once over that period was I worried about how she was doing. Anna Marie went above and beyond - she sent frequent photos and videos, brushed her out daily, worked on commands, and even took it into her own hands to figure out what food Lucy needed when she was being a picky eater. I am an EXTREMELY over protective Dog Mom to my 5 yo French Bull Dog Brodie. I have been searching for a dog sitter and trainer for him as long as I can remember, but I’ve never been satisfied leaving my fur baby until I found Happy Heart Pet Care. I will say I love to spoil my boy and only the best will do, however, this also meant he got away with a lot more behavioral wise then he should. So I needed to find someone knowledgeable that I could trust with my boy… I haven’t been able to find someone reliable that not only had the experience to help train Brodie, but that I felt comfortable trusting to care for him. Anna Marie checks all the boxes. She not only has helped with Brodie’s training, but I trust her to care for him as if he was her own. She is truly our dog nanny! Brodie loves Anna Marie and he has become such a better behaved boy since he was introduced to her training and care. Having a person who not only will train your dog, but love them the way you would is priceless. He respects her and she has a great relationship with my boy teaching him with obedience training and socialization. All the dogs she cares for are very well behaved so he has her pack to learn from as well. She also is a great resource for a number of suggestions and advice with regard to your pets health and well being. She is always the first person I call or text to ask any questions with regard to his health or needs, which is invaluable. She is one of the most kind and understanding people I’ve met in LA and I have no doubt I would ever find someone who cares or loves Brodie more as a trainer or dog nanny than her. Needless to say I highly recommend Happy Heart Pet Care. Your life will be easier with your dog if you use her, trust me!
So grateful to have found Happy Heart Pet Care--they are the best! I have an adopted pound dog who is super skittish (and bark-y) with new people and for the past 4+ years, has not been comfortable with other dogs. She LOVES Anna-Marie and Matthew and, after just three visits, she is already changing in wonderful ways--less skittish with new people and excited to play with other dogs, which I never thought possible. Anna-Marie is incredibly kind and accommodating, thoughtful about introducing new dogs to their environment, and thoughtful of skittish human owners, sending them photos of their happy dogs. I contacted them because of the consistently amazing Yelp reviews (a rare thing), without realizing they're on the west side of LA. My dog and I are way on the east side, but still travel there because knowing my pup is safe and happy with people she loves and who genuinely care is worth everything.
Matthew and Anna Marie are both so enthusiastic and knowledgeable about dogs. Their love for our 9week old Darcy is so heartwarming! I certainly had my concern leaving a young puppy with other people for a week, but Matthew and Anna Marie stayed very communicative. They also helped me on getting to know/adjust for a puppy. I could see Darcy was so well cared for through photos/detailed text updates. Truly appreciate their existence 💙
Anna-Marie took care of my 1 year old shih tzu puppy, Tater Tot, for almost 3 weeks while we were away. She was wonderful as she was very flexible with drop off/pick up times, and gave Tater Tot lots of love but also trained him! Tater is much more calm and well behaved now! He was brushed everyday, made many new dog friends, and enjoyed his walks. Anna-Marie updated us with cute photos and videos of him and we can’t wait to have him back with her again!
Where do I start? So thankful for Matt and Anna Maria. Matt has been a life saver with behavior modification with my sweet girl Cocoa. Cocoa is a hyper-vigilant rescue pit, with a few social challenges. Matt not only was able to with patience and professionalism, earn her trust, and help with her behaviors, he was also able to teach me, ways to manage when she and I are in the wild. He is very hands on, and teaches key fundamentals when handling a dog, and working with the world around them. I literally on multiple occasions have been able to handle situations without panic and stress due to Matt’s training. Cocoa also has been managing her stress better as well. You are equipped with the knowledge literally after just one session, the most rewarding thing is seeing the transformation in Cocoa. She has come such a long way. Happy Heart Pet Care has been a blessing. I highly recommend. 10 out of 10!

They are highly experienced and had my aggressive rescue dog showing improvement after just a few sessions! I’ve also used their services when traveling. We found Anna Marie on Yelp and trusted the good reviews she had- it was the first time we left our puppy with someone she didn't know and in another city. We loved Anna the first moment we met her, she was super kind, and you could tell she had a lot of knowledge and experience with dogs. We saw our puppy liked her from the very beginning and felt safe with her- we left her one full day and, when we picked her up, she was super happy and looked like Anna took great care of her. I highly recommend her; she is amazing!

Our two pups were so well taken care of and Maiara provided the peace of mind so we could actually relax on our time away knowing that our dogs were cared for as if we were there ourselves. One of our pups is a senior (15.5 year old husky!) who takes medication and Maiara was amazing and patient with him. Senior pups come with their whole own set of special needs and she showed so much compassion and genuine love for dogs. First time Westcoast Paws client and the pet sitter was contracted for 9 days, 2x day, 30 minutes each visit. Wren stayed 8-12 minutes on average and did not show up one full day. She left the door ajar one time, and one cat got out. Luckily, she was able to get her back inside. I explicitly told her we have coyotes in the neighborhood, and on my block, four cats and one dog have gotten caught in the past 3 months. Per the contract, she was to feed the cats and clean the litter box daily, and make sure the water bowl was replenished. Food was set out, labeled along with measuring cup. She managed to feed one cat six cans of prescription food and a large bowl of prescription food, which was an insane amount of food for nine days - The floor around the auto water bowl was overfilled and water on the floor. Westcoast Paws promised pics and updates on how the kitties were doing, but I received zero pics and one update from Adam. Thank God for Ring video. The owner of Westcoast Paws, Adam, was a delight to speak to, but unfortunately, he has to bear some of the responsibilities. Dog walkers & cat sitters are entering our homes and trusted with our beloved pets. I dont believe Wren cared for cats. How difficult is it to clean a litter box.. I told her that one of my cats would NOT use a dirty litter box and that he would poop on the floor if the litter box was dirty. That's exactly what happened! Not once did she clean the litter boxes. We agreed that she was to come no later than 10:00 am and no later than 9:00 pm. She arrived after 12:00 noon and again 6:00 pm or 8:00 pm. One day she arrived at 12:00 and came back at 4:00 pm and the next day 12:00 pm! Never again. Never! If I could edit my review on Thumbtack, I would.
We had the pleasure of working with Adam and his amazing team member, Evelyn, for the past several months, and I couldn’t be more appreciative of their support. Both my partner and I have just had such a wonderful experience. Evelyn has been an absolute gem. Our dogs adore her and get so excited every time she arrives to take them out. She’s always on time, super reliable, and really takes the time to make sure the dogs are comfortable. Esther took wonderful care of my two green parrotlets. When we got home they were so calm and happy. I could tell that they had been well treated. The cages, seed trays, and water were clean. The birds are not always easy to care for because they are little nippy escape artists. My husband and I were very pleased.

I’ve had the absolute pleasure of working with Adam and his wonderful team member, Evelyn, for several months now, and I can’t express how grateful I am for their help. My partner and I both suffer from chronic illness, and while we do everything we can to care for our two long-haired Chihuahua boys, Wally and Reishi, sometimes it’s just too difficult to take them on the long walks they love so much. Adam and Evelyn have truly been lifesavers. The boys absolutely adore Evelyn and are always thrilled when she arrives to take them out. Adam, the owner, and his team of reliable, responsible, trusted, experienced and loving pet caretakers are exceptional and the only petsitting service I employ and will ever employ. It's clear to me that Lady Baba, my 4 year old and very particular cat (with an even more particular owner), feels genuinely comfortable with them, as she actually let's them pet her and comes to greet them upon first introduction - which is very unusual for her. Adam arranges for an intro visit where you get to meet the sitter, introduce them to your baby, and show them around and walk them through the caretaking protocol. When I met Remal, I knew she was a winner from that very moment. Even when Remal wasn't available, Adam sent another INCREDIBLE petsitter, Natalia. And when neither of them were available (it was a very last minute booking and over a holiday weekend), Adam pulled through with another amazing and loving petsitter, Paula, yet again. Oh, and he is very accommodating to helping you out last minute. Haha. I couldn't recommend Adam and his wonderful and lovely network of petsitters at West Coast Paws more. We have a dachshund and she loves Bow Wow Bungalow! She’s been going about 2 years now and she has made friends and the employees are all so sweet to her ( she’s a sassy one). The times we’ve boarded her have been so smooth and she’s had such a fun time! I would highly recommend checking them out for your fur babies! Bow Wow Bungalow is truly a life saver. I've been bringing my high-energy dog here for about 2 years now and can't imagine managing life with my dog without this place. This is the only place I go for daycare and boarding because the staff knows Izzy so well and takes incredible care of her. I feel incredibly at ease whenever she's in their care. Plus they take incredible photos!
Bow Wow is a godsend and the boys (2 choc male labs) love to go and play and meet other dogs. It's a beautiful spacious place, very secure, and the people who work there are phenomenal in every way!! You can tell they love dogs and their respective positions there. Everything is super clean, in order, and they're adamant about all the proper vaccines being done and we appreciate that. The prices are excellent! And boarding is a win-win as well! The cams are crystal clear and always running so you may take a peek at your baby. Thank You, BOW WOW!!!!! xo
I took my dog to daycare and had my mother pick him up she just let me know that they couldn’t find his leash and gave us the orange one that you see in the picture. I called today to ask if there was an update if they have found it she said no They are still looking for it and I asked her approximately how long does it take for them to find the leash? Am I gonna get a call back? Do I called back? Do I get a refund if they can’t find it. At the end of our conversation, she said that I could call back at the end of the week and that she didn’t know how long it would take to find the leash. She didn’t ask me what it looked like, And as I was saying, thank you She just hung up the phone, which I thought was really rude. So whoever was working at 1:40 P.m. today should have more patience for customers that are callings. I will be coming in Friday to talk to a supervisor.
My doberman has been going here for 2.5 years now and absolutely loves it!!! The staff is always fantastic and i never have to worry about her being safe anc taken care if. She has diggie hemophillia and the staff is aware and whenever she gets even the smallest of scratches (while playing) they always call me immediately to let me know and ask what i would like them to do. I’ve never had any issues and the trainers are great too!!
We love Bow Wow Bungalow. Poppins goes to daycare about twice a week and also boarding from one night up to a week (~once a quarter). Conveniently located by Burbank Airport. Everyone is so pleasant, attentive and communicative in regards to Poppins’ needs throughout her stay. We pay for daily report cards during boarding and really look forward to the pictures and informative, quirky updates. We really appreciate the multiple webcams to see how her day is going and also the photo events they have during holidays (back to school magnet/valentines keychain). When we moved from Philly over the summer we were also leaving a wonderful doggy daycare and doggy friends. We trialed multiple daycares in our area (SFV) and found Bow Wow Bungalow to have the largest play areas both indoor and outdoor, with water area to keep cool during hot weather. All important things for an active German Shepard who loves laying in shallow water or lounging on rocks/raised cots whilst silently judging other dogs. Sometimes we joke that Poppins is so well behaved at daycare because she thinks she’s there to work and help her new favorite people keep the other dogs in line. Lastly, we love that the people at Bow Wow love our Poppins like their own. We value the vetting process and rules to keep all dogs safe. Plus there are trainers on staff to help with identified needs. Having opportunities for enrichment and managed play with other dogs is important to us along with days without having an extra shadow around. Thank you Bow Wow Bungalow!
Wanted to update my review now that our puppy has been coming to daycare here for five years. We're about to board her for the first time and feel relieved to know she'll be well-loved and so happy to be at her favorite place. Our puppy, Carolina, has been coming since she was 5 months and everyone knows her and supports her training. She loves going and playing with her human and dog friends. Really safe and professional. Can’t recommend enough.
This is the best doggie daycare my Bertha has been to, here in LA. It's spacious, clean and well staffed. Everyone is friendly and they genuinely care for your dog. I feel good when I drop her off either for daycare or boarding. I know she's in good hands.
The best place to take your dog for boarding and daycare!! We were lucky to find this place early on living in Burbank and so thankful. We can’t say “bow wow” around him or he’ll get too excited and want to leave immediately!! We can only refer to it around him as “the bee wee”!! If that isn’t the best stamp of approval I don’t know what is! I love the rules they enforce on the play yard and the attention to each dogs temperament and attitude. We were texted once that he wasn’t eating while there over a weekend and wanted our approval to give him some wet food. Loved that attentiveness and gave me peace of mind!!
Witnessed my dog and a few others dogs being mistreated by a handler named Rhiannon today. Been coming here for almost 2 years, seldom check the live stream - something told me to check the cameras today and saw that dogs were being scolded, sprayed with water, snatched aggressively by their collars, and locked in the outside crates for simply playing. Gave management the timeframes for when I witnessed these events for review. What makes me even more livid is everything I probably didn’t see. I am beyond pissed and will never be back as long as she is working here. No one this ill-tempered, impatient and easily overwhelmed should be working in this environment abusing animals when she thinks no one is watching. I watched until eventually all the dogs stopped playing with each other and my poor dog kept following her seeking approval as to not continue getting scolded until he started playing again and was snatched yet again and put into a crate. 10 minutes later dragged him by his collar again when he was already alone and isolated from the other dogs. Highlighting that she was dragging several other dogs by the collar when she spotted them playing together. I would encourage everyone to check the cameras regularly. I’ve recommended so many people here but would absolutely not recommend after this.
It was so nice to have piece of mind after taking my dog and cat here. It's a cage-free home that only boards a few pets at a time and best of all Lily and Max absolutely adored her. They don't like many people so I knew this was the right place. Thank you so much!
