We had THE best experience in Davis! Jeannot (dog), Luna and Monti (cats) are wonderful and loving. The home is beautiful and a great place to live, work and play. Lisa and Chris were welcoming and always so gracious. Davis, CA is a great town and there are so many great things to explore in the area. If you get the chance to house sit here, take it! We didn't want to leave!
Excellent experience! Fava and Astrid are like sweet grandparents, they are calm and want pampering but also a certain independence. Amanda's house is very beautiful, especially the garden, I loved it! I have not met Amanda personally but at all times there was good communication and clear instructions. I hope to repeat one day! Thank you very much for your confidence!
From the moment we arrived, we felt very at ease and at home. Hannah and her family made sure we were settled in and showing us where everything was. They left very clear notes, and everything was really easy to use and understand. The house is light and bright, and the area is friendly and quiet on a pretty, tree-lined street. Bailey is a truly lovely little dog. He is very affectionate, loves walks and exploring, and is very easy going all round - though squirrels are his nemesis! He says hello politely to everyone he meets, doesn't strain on the lead, and above all - appreciates a lie-in! A joy to walk and hang out with. The area is great, Peckham Rye Park became a firm favourite, and we enjoyed Dulwich Food Market and trying out different gyms and yoga places that were dotted around us, as well as hopping into the city, which was a bus and a tube ride. Thanks Fisher family - it's been a pleasure 😊
Lovely sit for a new member to the TH family! Gaynor and Jack were really friendly and I fitted in really well with them from the get go when they cooked me a lovely dinner the evening before they went away. The house and garden are lovely and although I never visited it - there's a pub just over the road! My bedroom and en-suite bathroom were very cosy on the top floor, and Jasmin did come and sleep with me a few nights. Miss Jasmin herself was lovely to care for - but don't get fooled that greyhounds are lazy - this one had me on many long walks... I was told if I walked her too much she would stop and sit down... no on my watch she didn't! LOL - I even lost her for 30mins in the woods which scared the life out of me - but having re-tracked my route back I found her (thank dog!!) - she loves the woods but seemingly will chase anything that moves so can easily get lost! She's totally fine around cows and livestock though... it's just squirrels and rabbits and deer. A lovely sit that I would highly recommend - Gaynor and Jack were very friendly and generous home owners.
Sandy and Charlie are wonderful hosts living in a beautiful home in the South End neighborhood of Boston. The location is safe and provides easy access to all that Boston has to offer. We walked daily into the city, but public transportation is also nearby. How lucky were we to be sitting during the weekend of the Boston Marathon and have had such easy access to all the festivities. Their home itself is beautiful, comfortable, and fully equiped. Communication with Sandy and Charlie was excellent and we were so glad to have met in person before they left. Charlotte is such a sweet pup, she stole our hearts immediately! She is full of life and is remarkably agile. We had so much fun exploring the surrounding neighborhoods with her leading the way. While at home, Charlotte loved to spend time with Mr. Moose. We will miss hearing her scamper down the stairs whenever she sensed food or a treat might be available for her. We are truly grateful for Sandy and Charlie's trust in caring for their home and Charlotte. If the opportunity arises, we would jump at the opportunity to sit again.
Amy and Miles are lovely people! Kilian and I loved our Brooklyn housesit. The home is in a great location close to shops and the train line. Amy and Miles were so welcoming and warm with their communication. They made us feel so comfortable and were always great with their communication. They were fantastic with their orientation to their home and showing us how Smudge likes her day. Smudge is such a beautiful dog who was super easy to look after. Smudge loved running in the park and always listened to commands. Smudge is such a fun dog and loved chilling at home just as much as playing in the park. It was a pleasure looking after smudge. I would absolutely recommend housesitting for Amy and Miles. We hope in the future we can come back to Brooklyn and look after Smudge again. 😊 Hannah Flego.
