Tosca is the most well behaved, adorable and sweetest girl in the world. I really enjoyed very much spending time with her, walking with her, playing with her and cuddling and sleeping with her. She has a very nice schedule and Susan and Francesco gave me all the detail information that I could need. They also made me feel very comfortable at their beautiful home. They picked me up at the airport and invited me to dinner when I arrived. They are very kind persons with beautiful hearts. I definitely want to come back to take care of my sweet girl Tosca.
We could not have wished for a better family, pet and home to have our first sitting with Trusted Housesitters! From the start, Helene and Gary were so welcoming to us. We had a call to get to know each other and then, we stayed at their home a day earlier to be introduced to Flynn and his day to day life. We had dinner together and got to know them and their daughter a bit more. It was perfect and we felt right at home! Flynn is amazing! He is always ready to play and has tons of energy. He is also very loving and was super quick to cuddle with us. He is well behaved around other pets and very smart. He has tons of human and pet friends at the parks around his neighborhood so it was always very festive every time we took him there. We already miss Flynn and his family. We thoroughly enjoyed looking after Buster and Milo - such gorgeous dogs with lovely personalities, and very easy to care for. Bev & Rob were very welcoming and friendly and made us comfortable in their home. Clear instructions were left which were very easy to follow, as well as everything we needed. We had never been to Pewsey before so enjoyed exploring the local area. Thank you very much!
Spent a wonderful 4 weeks in Dunbar, looking after a spectacular property and two wonderful pups by the name of Basil and Sybil. This sit was across Christmas and New Year, couldn’t have wished to be in a nicer place. Roz and Jon went the extra mile and put up/decorated beautifully a Christmas tree for us to make us feel welcome. Dunbar has pretty much everything that you need in terms of shops and facilities for a stay and the train service from there to Edinburgh, for example, is quick and efficient if you fancy a visit. Basil and Sybil were a delight to take care of and so easy. They have acres to wander in at their home location, plus a 5-10 minute walk gets you to the beach where dogs are allowed to run freely and as long as you watch the tide times, the beach is easily accessed by the “bridge to nowhere”!!! Everyone who meets them is enthralled with them and enquires about their breed. They’re really friendly pups and easily walked off leash on the beach. Lots of amusement when calling them by their names on the beach, the Fawlty Tower reference always raised a smile 😊 There are other paths and places to walk, some where the dogs can be off the leash, but the beach gives them all the freedom to work off energy that they need. It was certainly our favourite place to be with them. The property is stunning, we’d love to see it when things are in bloom, the grounds being tended and cared for by the lovely Shirley who was so helpful to us during our visit, always ready with advice and a friendly word. Roz and Jon referred to Shirley as a “gem” and she certainly is. The weather wasn’t the best, but certainly not the worst, evenings in the snug with the log burner aglow were lovely. There’s a mixture of old and modern character in the property and they complement each other perfectly. Roz and Jon commenced communication with us when we first applied for this sit and that continued up to, throughout and after we left. We were never in a position where we were unsure of anything because we couldn’t contact Roz and Jon and even if we would have been, Shirley knows all about the property and dogs anyway. We travelled a long way to undertake this sit and are so glad we did, it was totally worth it and would heartily recommend anyone else who might consider applying for a future sit to do so. We certainly hope that our path crosses again one day with Roz and Jon, thank you for entrusting us with your home and pups.
Rob’s place was in a great location and very comfortable. The dogs were very fun to take care of and very sweet. We had a great time!
We thoroughly enjoyed our winter in East Wenatchee with Sammy at Jerry and Kathy's lovely and comfortable home. With his PERFECT and LOVING personality, Sammy the angel cat stole our hearts and we fell completely in love with him! We miss him already! The house was so comfortable with a comfortable bed, a spacious well equipped kitchen, a super comfy living room and large TV with great sound system. Everything was great! It was our first time to this area and we were pleasantly surprised at how conveniently the home is located to everything from grocery stores to a mall, all within a 5-10 minute drive. Included with all of this was the use of their SUV. The quaint town is surrounded by pretty mountains. Before and after the sit, we had the opportunity to meet Max & Annie, the cute and playful dogs, and spend time with Jerry and Kathy. They are such a kind and generous couple. In summary, if you have an opportunity to sit for these lovely people, do not hesitate, as long as we don't beat you to it!
