Chino was lovely - great communication before the sit and some flexibility around dates which helped. He left the house really tidy. Most importantly he was great with our dog who was well looked after in our absence!
We couldn’t have asked for a better sitter than Catherine. She was personable and communicative when we first talked, and from the get-go we felt good about leaving our cat, Tituba, with her for over 3 weeks. Throughout the trip, Catherine provided thoughtful and funny updates about Tituba, and then we came home to a spotless house and a happy and well cared-for kitty. We would 100% recommend her and would definitely have her back to house sit in the future.
Victor took the time to meet us before our departure and Victor and Rose competently cared for our pets and our home for the week. Victor kindly communicated with me with periodic updates during the week, which I appreciated. We came back to find everything in order, clean and tidy. Recommend!
Bev & Mark provided all the details and info required in advance to ensure our house-sit ran smoothly and to their requirements. They have a very relaxing home, and we were blessed with nice weather too which made our stay. Zuri is very laid-back lady and totally undemanding. She enjoyed her daily pootle around the Park, and her snoring at night was bizarrely quite therapeutic! Pepe le Pue (or 'Poo') is a lovely, friendly cat who loved her daily brush and kept us company in our many hours in the garden. Kit Kat was more wary and aloof, but came for the odd stroke, on her terms of course! Salisbury Plain is on the doorstep and there are some nice cycle rides and walks locally. We would have no hesitation in recommending this house-sit to future house-sitters. Thank you Bev and Mark for your hospitality. It was nice to meet you both.
Staying at Lilia’s with Ricky was perfect. Ricky is a very sweet and affectionate cat, and he is very easy to take care of and love. Lilia was very clear about how to administer his medication, which is just using a plastic plunger to administer liquid into his mouth once every few days. He doesn’t like it, but it wasn’t a huge deal, and he was back to his affectionate self after a couple hours sulking under the couch. Lilia’s apartment is beautiful, clean, and light-filled. Her neighborhood is quiet and safe, and it is easy to take the S-Bahn or bus to anywhere you could want to go.
