Alyssa is a wonderful sitter. She loved our dog like her own and made sure Layla was happy. She sent photos and videos every day when they played or went on walks. Alyssa is a very caring and happy person. I would invite her back anytime. Five stars!
Meagan and David were our first house sitters and they were absolutely phenomenal. As a 'helicopter dog mom,' I typically get anxious leaving our sweet pups when we go on vacation (whether they were boarded or staying with a friend). The moment that Meagan and David entered our home I could tell that I had no need to be anxious while we were out of town for the week - our pups immediately loved them and respected them and it soothed all of my worries. During our trip Meagan and David provided regular updates via text message, sending photos and keeping us in the know of their daily activities. We did not run into a single problem and Kevin and I were able to thoroughly enjoy our vacation with our extended family. We could not be more grateful and will certainly contact Meagan and David again for other trips in the future!
Where to even start with Lily, She is a little diva who knows what she wants and isn't scared to let you know when she wants it. She was such a breeze to look after and we had such a good time with her. As a 12 year old beagle you'd suspect she's a little slow which is mostly true except when it comes to bread, she has the reflexes of a 2 year old beagle. We are looking forward to our next stay with Lily and spending more time with her. Mary and Wyn were so welcoming and lovely, we arrived a day earlier where we went for a lovely meal where they showed us around the area and the restaurants we should visit. The area is great, and there is a train station 5 minutes from the flat so you can head into the city within 10 minutes. The guide they gave us was perfect and detailed everything we could have possibly needed for the visit. The flat is perfect and spacious with a spare room for us to use as well as an office that was perfect for one of us to work in. Could not recommend looking after Lily enough!
I have no words to describe how lovely and helpful were Mariza and Wallace. They did everything to make me feel at home. We could interact personally in the first and last day of my sitting and I’m really happy to meet them! The house is fantastic, absolutely comfortable and everything was on hand to make my sit a really good time. The town of Saxmundham is a friendly place with all the facilities I needed. Aldeburgh is a charming seaside town and not far from Mariza’s house. SPECIAL CHAPTER TO TALK ABOUT THE PETS! EVA is beautiful huge tortoise easy to look after what provided me a good new experience. MIKAH and LUKAH are two adorable boys, the best company I could ever have and new friends that will stay in my heart for a lifetime! ❤️ Lots of wild birds and beautiful flowers on the house’s garden completes the quiet atmosphere of this fantastic place. Thank you very much, Mariza and Wallace. I really had a good time!
We had an amazing stay at Terri's she was so welcoming and her pets are just amazing and beautiful. Zachary is so pleasant and friendly who comes for a cuddle now and again, he is so placid and relaxed all day. Maggie Mae loves walks and has an exciting playful temperament and wants to be with you as much as possible. Ginger is fun loving, independent, wags her tail and loves walking (once she is on the lead). The pets are absolutly beautiful. The house is in a lovely quiet area, the home is very modern, very clean and well organized, we had our own bedroom and bathroom. Terri is an unbelievably kind person and a perfect pet parent. We have our fingers crossed that we will get the opportunity to pet sit for her again......Thank you so much Terri for giving us this opportunity.........Alec & Angela......Your new extended family
We highly recommend this house sit! Our time spent in Markt Allhau was more than we could have wished for. Gabi and Dan were the perfect homeowners. Their warm hospitality really made a great first impression on us. They were so nice and showed us all around the home and property, even giving us great local tips on places to visit in the area. There are shops only a 10-15 minute drive away from the home for supermarkets and even clothing, etc. Wifi at their home was perfect and we had no problems working online (on average Download 20 Mbps). Katze the cat was adorable, even if she won’t let us near her, it was still nice to see her once in a while. Gabi and Dan are a very low maintenance couple and did not expect too much from us. Our main tasks at the house included rubbish duties (recycling + compost), feeding Katze twice a day (or sometimes three), collecting the mail, watering the many indoor plants and keeping the home tidy. We are forever grateful that the use of a car was included in the house sit. Emergency contacts and car insurance phone numbers were discussed prior to their departure so we felt comfortable looking after their home, car and it’s contents. Markt Allhau was an interesting place to house sit, we had a great time exploring the less traveled sides of Austria. Or if you feel too isolated then driving to the big cities Vienna or Graz is only an hour or so away. Thank you again, Gabi and Dan! We really had such a lovely time and we hope to meet you both again someday :)
Anna welcomed me warmly into her home and let me drop my things several hours before she left. She introduced me to Loki who was very clever and playful, and even let me brush him several times! (Though I was dying for him to snuggle on the couch near me) the house was very beautiful, spotless and felt homey, with plenty of light. All cat-related duties were very clear, Anna showed me everything. All was straightforward and well-organised, while remaining chill. Could only recommend
We had a great time with Lottie and Draco in Catherine and Malcolm’s lovely home. Catherine and Malcolm made us feel very welcome and went through everything we needed to know for a comfortable and easy sit. The welcome notes were detailed. Everything they said about Lottie and Draco was spot on. They are gorgeous; different characters but both adorable. Lottie is full of energy but well behaved. Draco is a lot older and very sedate. The two dogs get on well with each other. The weather wasn't great when we were there (November) but even so we found plenty of places to visit including Sidmouth, Exmouth, the Donkey sanctuary, Topsham and of course the village pub. There were several places to sit in the garden and relax with a coffee. The house has everything you need and is very comfortable. In addition there are plenty of walks nearby where Lottie can explore off the lead and Draco is happy to saunter by your side. Great dogs in a lovely house. Definitely recommended as a very relaxing sit. We hope to see them all again one day.
