Peter was an ideal host. He left plenty of instructions and his pets were a dream. Baxter in particular was charmer and a bit of a local celebrity. Don't be surprised if you get stopped along your walks with people asking about him.
This was our second housesit via this platform and it could not have been a better experience. We came over to Toni's for a coffee before we started the sit and had plenty of time to get to know all pets and the lap in Ravenscourtpark with the 3 dogs. Toni is an absolutely lovely host, communication was easy and excellent, we enjoyed her little garden and the great big kitchen. She left a lot of fresh food for the rabbits and also for us, very welcoming and generous! Her pets are all lovely creatures, one cat will sleep with you in the bed if you like and the rabbits also warmed up to us after a few days. The dogs will be your best friends from day 1! They are very well trained and listen to their names very well. Thanks for this great stay!
I had the most relaxing time at Catherine and Bruce's property for 6 weeks. The highlights of course are Rocky and Lola, two beautiful kitties that I just adored. They both have very unique personalities and I loved spending time with them, Lola is super affectionate, I've never known a cat quite like her. They also accompanied me on daily walks around the expansive property and banana grove. The house is so quaint and the views are exceptional, it's also quite far away from any roads so it's very quiet and serene. I think I only left once a week as I was so happy and content there, the house had everything I needed for a comfortable stay. Catherine and Bruce were very welcoming and gave great instructions on anything I had to know, they have created a beautiful space and I look forward to caring for these two lovely kitties again if the need arises. Thank you for choosing me to care for your fur babies and entrusting me with your home.
We had a wonderful time looking after Raffi-he is the most friendly, nice-natured boy, always wagging his tail and wanting to spend time with us. He loved being out and about, meeting other dogs, and riding in the car before a long walk. In the evenings he was happy to sleep or play with his toys on the sofa. Pete and Dale made us feel so welcome in their comfortable home, making time for us to meet up before our stay and providing helpful notes about Raffi's routine and walking suggestions. We kept in contact while we were staying so it was easy if we had any questions. We hope to see you again in the future!
I had a great time taking care of Kaly and Gina. They are gentle, well behaved cats who need some time to warm up but once they do, it feels really, really nice. Communication with Federico was also superb. We met two weeks before the house sit and he let me leave some of my stuff at his home. He is kind and trusting. The appartment is centrally located but at the same time very quiet. Perfect to enjoy the city and sleep well afterwards ;)
Frankie is playful and adorable. The apt is on a lovely street surrounded by great things to do. Lucia was more than flexible and helpful in anything I needed!
