Evan, Maria and Truman (their pooch) were excellent house/pet sitters! They not only took excellent care of our Rhodesian Ridgeback (Chester), but clearly gave him loads of affection. Our home was very clean and our plants were happy! They were very flexible and understanding with our repeated flight delays and cancellations and we knew Chester was in great hands, which relieved our travel worries, We would not hesitate to work with them again and in fact, look forward to doing so. Chester has made some new friends!

I was fortunate enough to enjoy a week caring for Louis and Hugo in Jennifer's cosy Edinburgh flat. The cats are such fun and great characters - Louis is older and a little more sedate while Hugo has lots of youthful charm. They were very good and easy to bond with, providing plenty of cuddles, lap time and even a cosy companion on the bed if wanted! They eat well and came in each night when called.

Jennifer's flat is very well located if you're keen to explore Edinburgh and surrounding areas. There are a number of bus routes that are about a minute's walk from the flat and that take you into the city centre (both Old and New Towns), and out to the likes of Leith, also a good array of supermarkets and other services within easy walking distance. The flat itself is warm and quiet, with a comfortable spacious room for cat-sitters.

Jennifer was very pleasant to communicate with, and provided excellent guidance both about the cats and getting around and about in Edinburgh. Although we didn't meet in person, we chatted on the phone prior to my arrival, when she answered all my questions.

I highly recommend sitting for Jennifer.

I’m next day experiencing some cuteness Pico withdrawal. Saw some large bunnies bobbing about in Calgary and couldn’t help but think how he’d be amongst his near brethren if he were here, bounding through some tall grass.

Are you ready for xyz days of absolute sweet, doting adoration+play from Mr. Pico-pants Tacoma? If you love super friendly puppers (who does't?), look no further than Pico - one of the rare pups that makes me think I should give up my lifelong pet sitting to establish a best friend with a pup of my own. He’s so warm and cuddly, and loves to snuggle at night, but during the day he’s a wonderful play date and companion. We enjoyed some car rides (he's great in the car) to new walking destinations together, including Port Defiance Dog Park, which he loved, hanging with the big dogs.

As for his parents, Rachel and Jake keep a lovely, clean home with everything that you need! It’s in a quiet neighborhood with a sweet legendary neighbor across the street who is fun to banter with. Mr. Pico has a doggy door and a backyard he loves to hang out in.

You’ll have fun with Mr. Pico and a lovely, memorable petsit.

Mike and Ann are wonderful hosts, very kind, caring and generous. No need to find a supermarket, you can't run out of food. I am happy that we could spend some time together. And the dogs are a pleasure to look after, well behaved to everyone on walks and looking for cuddles at home. Only the postman is not that popular at the door. The house is spacious and on the sunny terrace you can enjoy a view even down to the sea. I absolutely recommend this housesit and would do it again, if only the way from Germany would not be so long.

The Charlotte house, homeowner and 2 beautiful cats turned out to be a heavenly 2 week stay. The view of the Adirondacks and Lake Champlain were mesmerizing. If you like to cook, her kitchen was equipped with everything one needs to prepare anything. If you like to hike, one of the best hikes is right out her door. Barbara created a very comfortable stay for me . It was sad to leave.

Lorenz & Lucyna
A fantastic stay with an adorable cat. Micky is very independent and roams the neighborhood freely, but when she’s home, she’s very affectionate and makes a lovely companion. Lorenz and Lucy are a wonderful couple with a fascinating history of adventure travel. When I arrived, they invited me for drinks and dinner at a neighborhood restaurant and I got to learn a bit about their lives and the city of Cologne.
The home itself is incredibly cozy and safe. It’s located in one of the best residential areas of the city, and just minutes from cafes, restaurants, parks, etc. Local transport was also convenient, but I mostly walked. Lorenz and Lucy also lent me use of a bicycle.
Overall, a memorable stay in a very cool city with a charming cat for company.
