It was an absolute pleasure to look after Nicola and Lawson’s wonderful family home and to take care of their fabulous dog Basil, their Cavapoo. We met them all on the day of the sit, when Nicola provided a comprehensive handover and familiarised us with their lovely home. We really enjoyed walking the adorable Basil on the recommended beautiful local park walks; and spending time in such a great area during the sunny bank holiday weekend. Basil was good company, well behaved and very easy to look after - a ‘top dog’. We wouldn’t hesitate sitting for them again in the future, and would highly recommended this sit to others.
We absolutely LOVED housesitting for Julie and Colin. They have excellent communication, super welcoming, clear instructions, and so easy to get along with. Their gorgeous home has lots of walking tracks around it - amongst the olive grooves, beautiful sunsets from the terrace, great small villages near by that have everything you need - not to mention their deep pool, perfect for sunbathing and to cool off in. It’s a slice of paradise! The animals are also easy going. Tank and Rayo (dogs) need fed 2x day and walked. Both dogs have a kind nature and love pats. The cats, Pixie and Rosie just need fed regularly when they tell you. Pixie is old and wise. Rosie is young and sassy but loves cuddles too. Julie and Colin were 10/10. Would recommend to anyone.
What a great sit! Joan is a welcoming and gracious host, and very easy to communicate with. Mocha and Roxy are very sweet cuddlebugs, who are easy to care for. Their home is comfortable and lovely, with great views. Nearby trails lead you around the lakes and make great walks for the dogs. I highly recommend!
Hillair and Michael are lovely people who communicate very well. Their home, located in a great walking neighborhood close to everything you might need, is magical, beautifully appointed and very comfortable. Frida, their dog is the smartest dog I’ve ever met snd is a lot of fun. I fell in love with her.
Sophie and Max are a warm, friendly couple who are very easy to communicate with and they made us feel welcome as soon as we met them. We found their home very comfortable and close to all amenities. Peter and I thoroughly enjoyed looking after their cat, Jack, and it was a real treat to stay in such a lovely home in such a convenient location. The Welcome Pack provided by Sophie and Max covered everything we needed to know about Jack, their home and the surrounding area. We really enjoyed our petsit.
I had a lovely time in West Hampstead with Romeo and JuJu! They are very different creatures that co-exist more or less peacefully and I did my best to split my attention equally :) Romeo is inquisitive, perky and so cuddly! He also has a cardboard box he goes into when he needs to let off steam and frustration; very funny to watch and I'm thinking of getting one myself! JuJu has a delicate, beautiful presence and responds well to gentle touch and words. I was charmed by both… I met Claire briefly prior to the sit and she explained everything in detail, including how to approach and pet the cats which was sweet and fast forwarded the bonding time. Claire was also very kind and accommodating letting me finish my work day in her sitting room on the last day, whilst she had come back from a long plane journey. Her home is lovely with a boho feel that makes you feel immediately at ease and a spacious garden for fresh air. West Hampstead is West Hampstead, a simply fantastic location to go anywhere close by or central. Would definitely do it again and recommend to others! Thank you for having me. X
