Bertille
I absolutely loved this sit. Beignet is the best cat ever, good with strangers, friendly, affectionate, and good at communicating what she wants. I began to look forward to seeing her when I walked through the door.

Bertille is a lovely mixture of laid back and communicative. She left me lovely little whatsapp videos about the quirks of the house and the area which were super useful and meant I could refer back to them if I forgot something.

The house is lovely, with a shop and cafe 2 mins walk away, and hikes straight up onto the moor. Hebden Bridge is a 20 min walk or a short bus ride away. You can easily catch a bus to Haworth to see the Bronte house, and plenty of other walks in the area. Oh, and you can catch a train to Hebden Bridge and then a bus to the house from there. It's all really accessible.

I had a brilliant time. I would definitely do this sit again. I can't recommend the whole family enough.

We had such a wonderful experience with Pedro, Julie, and Ian. They were so welcoming. Very kind people. Their house is lovely, very tidy, in a quieter location, yet quite easy to hop a bus to Newtownards, Belfast, or other interesting locations.

Wee Pedro was a sweet little guy. Basically you are there to open and close the door for him 😸 He will follow you around outside if he is not out on an adventure.

We are very grateful that we had this opportunity and highly encourage sitters to apply in the future.

I had a great time with Luna spending Christmas and New Year together, despite the fire-crackers war that was going on outside. The owners were thoughtful to leave some basic food in the fridge as I arrived on the holidays where all the shops were closed. After some initial confusion with the keys the rest of the stay was smooth. I even had some company as 2 teenagers, friends of the owners who were using the upper floor in the house for their holidays. Luna is young and very playful and a great soul, that will love you from day one , especially if you play tug of war with her. We went every day to the nearby lake for walks.. Luckily she is a labrador as it was raining the whole stay I was there, so I barely ventured into the city, so Luna was quite happy to be stuck with me all day long.

Some sits are so enjoyable you would like to keep them all to yourself - this was one.

Millie was a delight and no trouble at all. She had access to her cat flap into the lovely secure back garden. It really did feel like an oasis in the centre of a busy area.

We enjoyed a delicious meal with Jennifer the evening before her departure. She is such a generous and appreciative host. We didn’t get to meet Peter on this occasion.

Our en-suite bedroom was fabulous and we had ample hanging and drawer space.

We had such a comfortable and enjoyable stay. Everything is on the doorstep, an easy walk in to town, bus and tram stop, gardens, shops, restaurants, delis and bakeries. The list is endless. Millie was the icing on the cake 😻
