Stephanie is an absolute life-saver. She stepped in on a few hours notice (when our original TH wasn’t allowed to cross the border from Canada to Washington the day before our trip) and we could not have had a more incredible person caring for our two dogs and house. She was incredibly kind, nurturing, attentive, awesome at sending updates, and so much more. She really stepped in — and stepped up — and treated our precious pups like her own. We’ve never come home to such a spotless house too! We won the lottery finding her. I highly, highly recommend Stephanie — ten stars! ⭐️🫶🏻⭐️
Hunter is the most lovely cat we’ve known. He’ll make you great company, he’ll love to cuddle and sleep with you. He’s super friendly and well-behaved. Tough ‘exotic’, Willie is very cute. He’s also very friendly and will let you touch him and hold him.
I am missing Sushi so much as I’m typing this! This was my first house sit via TrustedHousesitters and it was such a pleasant experience. We got the chance to meet Taylour and her partner before they left for their travels and they are such a sweet, caring, lovely couple. Their home is so beautiful and you can feel all the love that gets poured into it. Also great location easy to walk and scooter around. Sushi was the sweetest, most easy-going laid back girly. She was so happy and joyful during all our walks and also very calm and friendly towards other dogs.
I really enjoyed my time here. Mark + Kathryn's home is in one of the most incredible, stunning locations that I've ever sat! I did not want to leave. We had a quick turnover from my arrival to their departure, but I felt adequately prepared and welcomed from the moment I arrived. Digby is your stereotypical dog—in all the best ways. He's full of energy, loves to play tug of war and chase, and knows how to 'play-bite.' He'll pick up sticks on your walks, some that are far too large. He will disappear on you when he's off-lead, but he always comes back like the good boy he is. I had such a lovely time exploring the forest with him. Contrarily, he's equally chill and loveable. When he's curled up on the couch, he'll let you smother him with snuggles while you hold his face and kiss his snout. He entertains himself throughout the day, taking naps around the property while taking his role as a watchdog effortlessly in between. Rockey is such a love bug. He's a big boy, but that won't stop him from crawling on your chest, purring, and making biscuits. We shared many naps and morning snuggles in bed reading together. It would be my absolute pleasure to come back to sit here again!
Fran and Lyle were extremely accomodating, making my arrival as easy as possible and making sure I had everything I needed for my stay. Their family and neighbours were also really friendly and helpful! Their home is in a lovely quiet area with multiple trails and places to walk. Poppy and Luna were such good girls! Luna has the sweetest personality and Poppy is a bit of a character. They were well behaved and loved a cuddle. Super comfortable sit, I would highly recommend!
Monica & her husband Mark are some of the kindest & fun-loving people I have come across in a long time! :) They truly opened up their home to me and even introduced me to the little community they are in. I felt so comfortable the entire stay & had everything I needed + more. The whole area is magical - a little cabin tucked away right by the Blue Ridge Parkway. Super easy access to both society & nature getaways. I felt like I was in a dream the whole time! Now, Mr. Hobbes is without a doubt the CUTEST Vizsla puppy I have ever met in my life. He is insanely smart, and equal parts athletic & cuddly. (He is the fastest dog I've personally met.) He's doing such an amazing job learning all his commands and I'm excited to see how he progresses. We really bonded and the whole trip was definitely elevated by getting to spend time with this fantastic, beautiful creature.
