We had an absolutely wonderful time @ Sue's ! Ruby is a perfectly well-behaved pup who has boundless energy and is very affectionate. She took to us right away and was always down for playtime, cuddles or walks. Sue's home is beautifully decorated and spacious and we loved being surrounded by nature. We even had a few deer stroll up on the property one day which was a charming surprise ! It's about a 25 min walk to shops and cafes and a 5 min walk to the beach. Highly recommended to stay with Ruby if you ever get the chance!
We had an amazing time pet-sitting for Kate and Mark. Not only is their place stunningly beautiful, well organized, and clean, but the love and care they provide to their pets and garden shines. Nimwee and Akido became extended members of our family during the 8 days we cared for them (what personalities they have!) and the "girls" (hens) were good company too. The girls live in the tidiest henhouse I have ever seen and have access to a delightful large yard for scratching and exploring. We also tended to the seedlings for the summer garden and enjoyed learning about the Bokashi composting system for soil health. The tropical fish added to the delight of inside living and the home layout and design was well planned and designed. Kate provided thorough information of what the pet sitting expectations were and was easily able to reach for communication while away. We would house sit here again in a heart beat.
