Dave and Caroline couldn’t have been better house and dog sitters. From the outset, they presented as experienced, assertive and loving animal lovers. Our dog sensed that too, and we felt lucky and relieved as we set out for our month-long trip. Ever responsible, Caroline and Dave anticipated things we hadn’t considered, such as getting a dog tag with their phone number on it and new commands for better responses. Upon our return, our dog was a happy, healthy pup and the bond between him and Caroline and Dave was clearly evident. We think he misses them even a week later. Throughout the month, communication with Caroline and Dave was ongoing and just enough to answer questions and get a few updates. They treated our home as if it was their own, and were quick to notice anything out of place or in need of fixing. They went the extra mile in helping us communicate with future renters and in being available to receive post boxes. We felt fortunate to have had the pleasure of meeting Caroline and Dave and very lucky to have them look after our home and our dog.
Sharon and Mac have now been to look after our house and two dogs for a second time. They are reliable, spotlessly clean and tidy, communicative and most of all love our 2 dogs. On my return from my holiday, i was greeted with an immediate cuppa, a vase with flowers, some snacks and two happy faces - in fact 4 happy faces! - despite all the rain they had. Mac even cleaned my woodburning stove! I hope they will come again.
Ben and Kristin are fantastic house and pet sitters! They took great care of the house and they gave our pets so much love and attention that I think they might be spoiled! I highly recommend them and hope they can come back sometime.
