This is a fantastic sit! Alice and Steve are gracious and generous hosts. Their home is beautiful and the surrounding area is spectacular. There is plenty to see and do with little to no travel effort. Ringo is a total pleasure. He is well groomed and trained, obedient and fun to be with. He is, without a doubt, the best fetcher ever. I actually played fetch with him while napping on the back deck. He quickly retrieves and immediately brings the object back and drops it directly into your hand. He was so much fun!.....and as cute as can be! There are plenty of beautiful parks, large and small within a few minutes drive. I had a great weekend with Loki and Khloe. They are such sweet dogs. Loki is full of energy but VERY well behaved. He listened extremely well and knows his commands very well. He walks very well on a leash and doesn't run off from the property when not on a leash. Khloe is older and doesn't get around as quickly as her brother but she still has a lot of spirit in her eyes. I jsut want to cuddle her all day. Shuana and Brian were very hospitable and have a really lovely home. They gave very clear instructions and were responsive when I had questions about food and such. They are super nice people. I would definitively sit for them again.
Julia, her cats and her house are the best combo you could ask for when house/pet sitting. Julia is smart, super active, organized, thoughtful, and helpful. Her house is so cozy and well maintained and equipped. The backyard is amazing and a great scenario for a lovely brunch with an amazing and fruitful garden. Dulce, her "indoors" cat is calm, independent and gentle. I would recommend sitting for Julia's without a doubt. Great experience!!
I had the nicest sit at Cathy and Ray's. They have a dedicated space for AirBnB guests which I used, complete with plenty of storage space, a comfy bed, mini kitchen, and large bathroom. The rest of their home is lovely, too, with many interesting plants, books and memorabilia - a tranquil atmosphere from which to work and enjoy my time with sweet Oscar! Oscar is a fluffy love! He is a cuddler at home, and a happy beach-goer! He loves the fresh air in his face and trotting along beside me on his leash. He's a bit finicky about his food, but loves his treats...reminding me when he "deserves" one - a little guy with a big but calm personality! I would gladly return to watch over him again, any time!
It was really a pleasure taking care of Serpico for almost two months. She is a little shy at first, but once she feels confident, she is very companionable and loves to play! ☺️ Paula was super communicative from day one, and she made me feel very comfortable in her apartment. It’s located in a quiet area near the lake, very nice to walk around the neighborhood. Thanks Paula, I miss Serpico already! 🥰

I would 100% recommend Ruskin Doggie Day Care and boarding run by David. David treated our sweet Diesel as a family member and clearly he has a genuine passion and commitment to give the best experience and care to our fur babies. Facilities are very clean, lots of room to run around in a fenced in backyard, one on one playtime. Really liked the fact that we could bring comfort items from home. It was evident that a bond was formed between Diesel and David. We will be back. Being able to go away knowing Diesel was in good hands was such a blessing. PS. Very reasonably priced!!!
Our dog loves staying with David! We have a big, young doberman with lots of energy and it took us a while to find a suitable sitter for him. David welcomed him with open arms and has been a great host for him every time. Tank has the biggest doggy smile when we take him there and gets super excited every time he sees David. It sure makes leaving easier knowing that not only my dog is taken care of but he loves the place and people there.
During our meet and greet I knew this was the person I could trust with my fur baby. David is dedicated to top notch care for all of the dogs he takes cares of. His place is gorgeous and super clean. I recommend David’s doggie daycare 100%. I was looking for a daycare that would accept my 2 furbabies on an as needed/drop in basis and David does that. He treats my babies like family and they love going, also love running around within the fenced in area. I feel comfortable, leaving my babies there.
We are new to the area and needed to find daycare and boarding for our dog, Daly. We scheduled an appointment to visit and were immediately comfortable with David and the in-home facility with a large shaded outside area with room to run and play and an inside play area. On Daly’s first visit, David did a great job of welcoming her by slowly introducing her to her new surroundings. Under David’s supervision, dogs socialize and play with other dogs. We love receiving the pictures and videos he sends throughout the day. At Ruskin Doggie Daycare and Boarding, dogs receive top-notch care and individualized attention.

This was our first time ever boarding our pets I must say this was a pleasant experience. While enjoying our trip, Dave even sent us pictures of the pets. Zelda was so happy staying here! Lots of room for her to play, eat and sleep. Dave sent photos and/or videos daily of her playing and exploring. Price was very reasonable. We will definitely bring Zelda back!

Erica is fantastic and provides such a total package of care. First, she is very organized which is really important when all the details have to be right for our dogs to get the right care and feeding. Her house is set up wonderfully with a great backyard for playtime. And lastly, she is very responsive when you reach out, as well as providing frequent updates through the app. Both of our dogs seemed very relaxed and happy to be there. Oh wait, the most important thing…she is a veterinary nurse!! This gave us such comfort since both our dogs are over 14 years old.
We had a truly great experience having our pups stay with Erica of Farley Pet Care. Erica is caring, loving, and very efficient when it comes to running the show. My 2 dogs are over 50 lbs, and can get a bit rambunctious. Erica suggested a trial over-night which was great for all parties concerned! She has a great outdoor play area for the pups and warmly welcomes them into her home as part of the family. We were on a bit of a lengthy vacation and Erica sent photos daily with updates which put my mind at ease tremendously. We were all able to relax and know the dogs were very well taken care of. Bonus...they were exhausted when we picked them up! I highly recommend Erica and Farley Pet Care to anyone who asks.
Our puppy Linguine was very well taken care with Farley Pet Care. He had experienced an issue that caused him to be temporarily blind and a little wobbly. My wife and I were going to be out of the country and wanted to make sure that our dog was properly cared for. Erica took such great care of our little guy. We almost feel like it was doggy rehab, since he got to spend time running and playing with other dogs. The journal updates were great and made us very happy to see that he was being loved and cared for while we were away.
We brought our dog Chloe to Farley Pet Care for a stay from January 25th to January 29th. First time Chloe was away from us, and she adapted beautifully to being in the home rather than in a kennel. Their customer service, in person and over the phone, is well above average. Our Pyrenees is old and they are patient with her and give her breaks when grooming. They use our medicated ear cleaner and trim her nails, all those dew claws too! I love picking her up and seeing her hanging out with their office staff :) try their grooming service, you won’t be disappointed! Great prices too.

Rowdy's was and continues to be an amazing choice for our fur-child. Nimue has been going to Saturday Daycare for roughly 2 years now and if we are running a little behind on Saturday mornings, Nimue lets us know about it . I can't begin to say enough great things about the facility and staff. We know our Nimue can be a handful, but the staff are always happy to see her dragging one of her dads through the door. Overall, GREAT PLACE...AMAZING STAFF...AWESOME RATES. Nimue THANKS YOU! Oh, and they have these beef-cheeks that are to die for...at least according to our fur-child. Never comes home without one. We recently left our three doggies here for about 11 days while on vacation over thanksgiving. The process to have them stay is thorough and comprehensive. The meet and greet gave us confidence the dogs would be okay and not stressed. The requirements for vet records and shots made us comfortable the dogs would be safe and healthy. Located next to our vet added more comfort. All three dogs stayed together at night and the open play concept was great for the socialization. The staff is always friendly and the dogs were very comfortable going to the resort. Photos were sent by staff on thanksgiving showing how happy the dogs were. It wasn’t cheap, but we love our pets and will gladly pay and bring them back!
My dog loves coming to Rowdy's! I've been bringing Bennie here for boarding and daycare for a few years and once he realizes where we are, he's always excited to go in. They love dogs and I have no doubt they're taking great care of Bennie while he's there. They also have a bathing station that is VERY handy. For a very reasonable fee, you use their stuff (bathtub, drier, shampoo, towels, etc) to bathe your pet instead of destroying your own bathroom. Or you can schedule a spa day and they'll do it for you.
I called Paws & Love at the last minute needing doggie day care. They were so kind to accommodate and took such good care of Coco. She had a lot of fun and was worn out and happy to see me at the end of the day. Thank you so much!
Julia and Angel took care of my baby Bonnie. We can see Bonnie had a great time while she was in their care. We received updates daily from Julia and how Bonnie was doing. Definitely using their services again. The place is beautiful and well cared!
My wife and I love this place. We got our golden retriever puppy Mandy about five months ago. We looked for a place so Mandy could get some companionship and I found paws and love dog service. We met with Angel and Julia. they have watched Mandy numerous times during the day and overnight, and are very good to her. Mandy loves it there. The dogs get plenty of playtime, but also have rest time in the cool air-conditioned kennel area — so important in this Florida heat.
My family and I scheduled a vacation and needed a sitter for the pets for a couple days. Consequently, I ran across Paws and Love and decided to try them out. Meanwhile, my dogs have never been away from us so we weren't sure this was going to work. However, Julia and her family made a great first impression on us and I was impressed with the facility. Julia, seems to be a wonderful person with a wonderful spirit and temperament for the animals. My dogs don't take to everyone but they love Julia. Paws of Love is located on a wonderful piece of property, with spacious accomodations and housing for the comfort of the dogs. Yes, they have a back yard area that my dogs really enjoyed to explore and play for exercise. One of my dogs is a toy Pomeranian and even she enjoyed the backyard. I know this because Julia sent pictures and videos throughout the stay to keep us updated and comforted that the dogs were being well taken care of. I really appreciate this amenity from Paws and Love. I am already considering using Paws and Love for a daycare visit for the dogs if we ever want to hang out without leaving the dogs home alone. Unequivocally, I definitely recommend Paws and Love to anyone considering a daycare or boarding visit for the animals because Julia does a wonderful job taking care of the animals and its cost effective. Thank You Julia and Paws and Love for all you do for the animals!
We needed to board both our large boys last minute while we waited to close on our home for a week and came across Paws and love. They are incredible and beyond friendly, Julia is a gem and sent daily pictures of my boys. It was our first time ever having to use this type of service, I was nervous but Julia reassured me everyday the boys were doing wonderful and had adjusted nicely! Definitely recommend and will be using again!
Finding Paws and Love has been a blessing for our family. They are very professional and respond to texts quickly, and they are very accommodating even if we have last minute requests or time/date changes. We always receive pictures and videos throughout the day. Their facility is well maintained and comfortable for the dogs to run and play. Our girl loves to play with the other dogs and we know she is taken care of and looked after when in their care. We highly recommend them and will continue taking our girl there.

We had our White Golden Retriever stay here for 6 days and he loved it! He played with other friendly dogs, had toys to fetch and we got photos of him throughout his stay which was fantastic (these photos I added were from them!). Julia and Angel are very nice and respond right away to messages, having good communication which gave us peace of mind! We’ll be going here next time and we would recommend them to all!
Highly recommend! We boarded our golden with her and for a week while we went on a cruise and we are extremely happy with her services. The dogs have plenty of space outside, air conditioned inside and most importantly, our dog was well taken care of. She sends pictures and gives updates regularly as well as being reasonably priced. We will definately be using her services anytime we go out of town!
We love Shagri-La Pet Resort! My dogs, Patrick and Magnolia actually run out of the car and into the building just to see everyone. They LOVE the girls!!! When we pick them up they smell amazing from their baths and they are very happy! When Hurricane Milton happened, we didn’t have power and we had to leave our home. We didn’t have any other option. Their team took in our dogs and made sure they were safe, even though they were also going through their own issues during the storm. We are so grateful for their service and the amount of care they put into their business. My mom also brings her dogs there and loves them! Highly highly recommend!
My puppy stayed at this resort for a week when I dropped her off she was so nervous but when I picked her up she was so happy you can just tell she had an amazing time and she loved everyone, she was very happy going up to the staff for pets, we will be back for any future boarding. Thank you for being so awesome!!
We have left our 2 German shepherds with Shangri-La a bunch of times, and every time, the pups are happy! The girls working there are amazing, sweet, and you can tell they love the pets they care for. Best place around for sure! Our pups boarded for a few nights with Shagri-La and came home very happy. I wish that I could leave them a 5 star review however, the owner took it upon himself/his staff to not stick to the one thing we asked them not to do during our pets stay. Our Dalmatian has been VERY food aggressive with our smaller dog in the past. We asked upon making the reservation if he could be separated for meals and were told it was no problem. When we dropped them off, the owner seemed to be slightly annoyed that we were asking for him to be separated at meal time but said he would give him 15 minutes to eat then take the food up. When we picked them up I asked how their time there had been. The owner stated it was good and said “the Dalmatian isn’t as food aggressive as you might think. We left the food out for them and they did great.” I am extremely thankful that nothing happened but am very upset that they took this risk without so much as a phone call to us. We have had our Dalmatian since he was 8 weeks old and know our dogs well. This was not a decision that should have been made by a boarder and because of this we will never use Shagri-La again.
Jeff and his team are the BEST!! My pup has been going there for 5 years and when we turn down the bumpy road, he gets super excited. I hate leaving my pup, but I’m so thankful to have such a great place to care for him when I’m gone.
Excellent place! This is going to be the only kennel I bring my GSD moving forward! She came home very happy! I paid extra for a couple of swims, which she loved, and I was also impressed by the bath she was given. Very large kennels, very clean, and friendly staff.

First boarding experience anywhere with our career changed guide-dog pup so I was a bit nervous. All in all, he came home safe and happy as a clam. The rates are reasonable, the building looked super clean and the staff was incredibly friendly. What more could you ask for?
This place is nice. I felt very comfortable leaving my one year-old rat terrier here I dealt with Jeff he was very nice and accommodating explained everything what I loved about the place is my dog was in her own safe space always I didn’t have to worry about her getting attacked. by any other dogs when they let them out individually, they can run and play and still see the other dogs in their own space I highly recommend this place.
Even though there was a mix up with the reservation, they were gracious enough to board my Auggie. He also got a nice bath before coming home at a very reasonable price. I will recommend.
I am so thankful for this service. I could tell from the "meet and greet" that Dawn and her family were going to be wonderful with Dolly and give her lots of attention. We had left her at a kennel one time and she came home depressed for a few days. When we picked Dolly up from Dawn, she was her normal, happy self. I could tell that she was comfortable staying there and I am sure they took great care of her. We will definitely use this service again.
J. Tails is the absolute best! My girl is always so excited to see her friends and play. The staff is always sweet and kind. Pick up and drop off is fast and seamless. I look forward to seeing Poppy's daily report card and being able to check in on her via the cameras through out the day. I know she is in great hands there, and the staff treats her like she was their own.
Our dog had an amazing first day at J. Tails in Saint Pete! We love to support a local business in our community and they are such a cool local doggie daycare! My process for making sure everything was ready for our pup Reba was easy using the website they have available for signing up. Reba’s first day was free which was really awesome, and makes the experience risk free. It’s important to have your dog’s vaccines up to date, and then I just took a picture of the records and uploaded them to their doggie portal. Then when you go to sign your dog up for anything you can go online, pay for the day, pay for extra treats, etc and it’s all ready and organized for you. That way when you go to get your dog, there’s no cash or cards you need to take out & hand over while you’re trying to get your dog(s) at the end of the stay. The prices are great, the daycare is definitely smaller in terms of the number of dogs, which was great for us because our dog is a little intimidated by being in a high volume daycare. Listen I know that may make me sound like I’m a crazy dog lady! But I think some would understand that our dog is a Pit Mix, so it can be stressful for dog owners with Pitties to drop them off at the groomers or daycare because of the misconceptions about the breed. If she barks or gets anxious, I have seen some people react out of fear. But we have worked very hard on training her for a year and we know how loving and sweet she is. So it was a huge huge relief that everyone at J. Tails was understanding and went above & beyond to make us feel they were familiar with dogs like her— sweet and gentle dogs, but with lots of energy and often misunderstand. When I dropped off Reba I spoke with Mattie who was so kind! They helped Reba adjust to the new smells and environment before I left and they were so thoughtful and kind. During Reba’s temperament test and daycare visit, they texted us a picture of Reba in the kiddie pools having a blast with an awesome update of how she was doing! That was so sweet because I love seeing her having fun with the dogs instead of worrying if she is behaving or scared. When we went to pick her up, she was so excited to see us and she wasn’t scared at all. The folks at the front desk told us how much they loved her and that they had a great day getting to meet her. Seriously just the sweetest people working there, and you can tell everybody there are absolutely wonderful dog people who make sure your dog is safe AND having fun all day. They made us smile because they truly care about your animal. So we were very impressed. We are J. Tails customers now for sure! We used to bring our dog to a bigger less structured doggie daycare and we noticed that her behavior was regressing. By that I mean she was barking a lot more at people, she was nervous often, and though she did like going, she came home stressed and smelling like floor cleaner/sanitizer from the kennels. So we were really surprised and happy that by the time we got her in the car we noticed she didn’t smell like anything! I think her getting to go in the kiddie pool might have even made her smell cleaner than before we dropped her off 😂. Everything from the caring and thoughtful customer service, the easy enrollment and payment system, to the fact that you can watch live video feed of the dogs playing while they are at daycare (accessible only if you have a dog registered for that day)… We were just very happy and so impressed. Our family LOVES J Tails now and we highly recommend this daycare if you are looking for somewhere to bring your pup.
Easiest 5 star review I’ve had in a while! This doggy day care was exactly what we needed while on vacation. They really do take care of the dogs like they are their own, pricing is very reasonable, and you get these enjoyable “pupdates” each day! You can also check on your pups via webcams once they are checked in for the day. Don’t hesitate to use this day care!
The staff is friendly and patient, the facilities are clean and well maintained, and the pricing is very fair for the level of care. J. Tail’s emphasis on safety and well being, as well as the ratio of dogs to human supervision (1 person per 15 dogs) helps me feel confident trusting them with my rambunctious boy. I have a high energy dog that started out really nervous at daycare. After a few weeks going to J.Tails a couple times a week, he runs toward the door when we get there. They have small playgroups of dogs with similar size/temperament, a fun outdoor play area, and someone with their pups at all times. I love that I can check on him throughout the day on their cameras and I look forward to the photos and “pupdates” they provide. We love J.Tails
I absolutely love JTails! They take such good care of my pup and I always get the cutest pictures of him on their Instagram. The staff is super sweet and I know they treat all the dogs so well! I never worry when my dog is under their care. They also offer very reasonable pricing and their facilities are kept nicely. I highly recommend! I also wanted to give a special shout out to Alex for always being so kind to Auggie! 🥰
The staff at J.Tails are so loving and attentive when taking care of my pet. I recently overnight boarded my dog at J.Tails and never worried about his care. When I leave him for the day, he comes home exhausted from a fun day of play. I highly recommend J. Tails for taking care of your pets.
J. Tails is the best. We are so glad we found this place! We have now done the daycare and boarding service. The staff is very friendly and caring. I really appreciate the "pupdates" on how our dog behaved that day. They also have video feeds, which is a plus.
We like to drop our dog off for daycare during the week so she can socialize and get some exercise while we are at work. She is so excited to go every time and we know she’s safe and well cared for at JTails. The pupdates at the end of the day are awesome and they take so many good photos and videos.

Sasha is an angel! We met her randomly and I kept her card for over six months. During that time our older dog passed, and we had a seven-month-old puppy named Bhakti. A week before heading out of town for a work convention, our puppy surprised us by going into “heat”. We were stuck because no one would take her! I still had Sasha’s number in my wallet and I was able to connect with her. She was able to calm me, and more importantly “daddy” that our puppy would be in good hands. Sasha took amazing care of Bhakti while we were away and sent us lots of pictures and videos to show that all was good. For the past year, Sasha continues to take amazing care of Bhakti. I/we consider her part of our family. I highly recommend her to anyone looking for a more personalized care experience for their dog.

Sasha has been taking care of my puppy frenchie since I got him. You can tell that he loves her and is comfortable with her. My work schedule is very busy and Sasha is always there to help, whether it be walks or overnights at her house. She even took him to the vet for me for an emergency allergy visit! I was so nervous at first to have someone else watch him, but she sends me photos and videos to make me feel more comfortable. Now I don't worry at all! She treats Tank as her own and I'm so grateful to have someone so loving and sweet watching my baby when I can't. :)
I am one of those crazy dog moms that leaves behind 4 pages of notes and instructions for anyone watching my pups while we are gone. When we met Sasha, we knew instantly that she would be an excellent caregiver for our furbabies. She asked a lot of really good questions and had us fill out a little info sheet for each dog. The first time she watched them, we got lots of real time pictures and videos- which we loved! Our dogs are always super excited when she walks in the door and we know they are in excellent hands when she is around. Cannot recommend her enough!
Sasha is amazing! She really understands dogs and has a passion for them. I have two pups she watches and one is an older dog who is very sensitive and has anxiety. Sasha does so great with her and my senior dog adores her. You can trust and rely on her with your pups!
You won't find a better person to trust your fur baby with! Sasha has been walking my cockapoo, Winnie, since she was 8 weeks old (she is quite the handful). I feel so comforted knowing she is looking out for my pup when I am not there! Being a first-time dog owner, Sasha has gone above and beyond to ease my nerves; from recommending a vet to meeting me at the pet store to choose out the perfect treats and harness. Fantastic service. We will be using Luxury Walks for all of our pet sitting needs. Sasha is a delight and very professional. She took extra steps to make sure our dog was loved and cared for while we were away. We have a large puppy 85lbs and Sasha took great care of him. 5 stars all the way!!!!!!!!
Whenever we leave town, Luxury Walks watches our french bulldog (Lola). The reason we continue to go back to Sasha is the personal nature of Lola's stay with her. She constantly updates you with photos and videos, but most of all it shows that our dog is being taken care of and not just "watched". Sasha is very attentive to any health issue, and will keep you apprised of everything that's going on. If you want your dog to be in a room or crate while you are out of town, Sasha/Luxury Walks is not the place for you. If you want piece of mind that your pet is being taken care of (and most times playing with other dogs as well) then you won't find better service.
We have known Sasha for years so when we got a puppy it was only natural we would ask Sasha to help out. She is trustworthy, reliable, and dependable. As an unexpected bonus we got photo shoot of our new pup that seemed to be professional :) You will not be disappointed with Luxury Walks!
Sasha has been incredible. I started using her when my mini goldendoodle was about 6 months old and she has been nothing but amazing for the past several months. She is incredibly responsive and loves all the dogs she cares for. My dog Kona adores her as well and gets so excited to see her every time she gets a walk. This is a true testament to her dedication and love for her job and the pups! Would highly recommend her services!!
Bamboo Pet Sitting is our go-to pet sitter! We’ve been very happy customers for many years now. The care that each sitter takes with our furbaby, Lucy, is so so thoughtful and considerate: not only do they take wonderful photos at each visit so you can see, they also speak up about other issues as they arise, like a loose faucet handle. They also bring in mail and packages and leave our home in great condition. We love taking our dog on vacation but when we can’t, I know that she looks forward to the pet sitters who always spend quality time with her. We are very happy customers and so is Lucy. Stephanie is fantastic. I always feel so at ease when my older dog stays with her. I can't bear to board him and this has been a lifesaver. I know she's up to date on all the latest pet trends and safety precautions. I never worry about my old pup as she sends me lots of photos and updates. He's got some bladder control issues in his older age and she doesn't mind putting a diaper on him when he stays with her. I'd recommend her services to anyone.
An absolute gem of a pet service. Excellent communication and so understanding and non judgemental in regards to a rescue pup (w hx of trauma aka she is not the easiest with strangers) and working with her quirks. Every employee was fantastic and sent sweet updates and hilarious videos of trying to convince the scaredy-cat pup to come downstairs and see them…which she eventually did!!!! And that is not something that has happened in the past with previous sitters. Everyone from owner to employees make you feel like you are part of a family which can give one such a sense of security and trust leaving their fur baby under their care. I could feel everyone truly has a passion for their job ! And a little shout out to Alexandria who I shall now refer to as the Chloe whisperer 😊 Looking for a professional pet service that also still has an authentic, real life, we are all in this together feel? We left our dog and cat at our home for two weeks while we drove across the country to visit grandparents and had Stephanie's business visit a few times a day to feed, walk, etc. We got photos of our pets and reports on their health with every visit, were able to communicate with not just Stephanie but her awesome employees, and came home to happy and relaxed pets (when we used to board our dog, she'd be frantic and anxious for weeks after). As everyone gets busy with summer travel plans, give Steph a try!
