We were so fortunate to come to the house near Seillans and care for the sweetest and most beautiful dog Gaia. We also cared for the two cats and fed a large number of fish. The house is in a lovely peaceful setting and Patrick and Francoise are a delightful thoughtful couple. Thank you for trusting us to care for your home and your pets. It was a priviledge to be there.
We had a glorious time here playing with Mungo and Merlin! They were a dream pair ! Merlin is so loving and good natured , loves his walks and a swim, we loved cuddles with him . Mungo is so funny, he loves a tummy rub and pretends he doesn’t want you to pick him but but he loves it really . He also loved a bit of chopped raw carrot and cucumber. We also had the pleasure of Daphne the chicken who thinks she’s a dog and will tell you when it’s time for her food . She’s lovely ! We had wonderful walks straight out from the house, the woodland here is beautiful , with a lake for Merlin to swim in too. Such beautiful peaceful private grounds, with a friendly welcoming vibe. Thank you to Philip and Henrietta for the warm welcome, fascinating talks about climbing and the history of the family , we loved every minute of our stay here it couldn’t have been any better, even the sun shone , one day of rain only, what a treat . Hope the garden looks fabulous still, Mel watered it daily , tended to the Roses and looked after the shoots in the greenhouse . Looking forward to organising a climbing trip soon !
Oban is such a sweet older cat. He LOVES to be brushed and takes a minute after you sit for him to be on your lap purring loudly. The house and gardens are beyond nice. Best beach on the Sunshine Coast at the bottom of the hill. Shaundehl and Mike were easy to keep in touch with. Highly recommend this sit.
Sonja was really welcoming and answered all my questions when I arrived the night before she left. Communication with her was great, as Findi is an old gentleman who needs a bit of extra care compared to some cats so it was good to know I could be in touch with her whenever I needed. Findi was a sweetheart and it was very much on his terms - sometimes he was happy to sit on my lap, other days he wanted nothing to do with me :D but he always let me know when it was time to be fed! The location and the flat are amazing, due to it being the Coronation weekend I didn't dare venture into Central but I didn't have to as there's so much to do on the doorstep - the lido, parks, broadway market. A great sit if you want to be in London! Thanks :)
Selina and Liam are good people and made me feel right at home. Luna and Lexy welcomed me with so much positive energy from the moment I walked into the house. Ringo is such a handsome cat, fluffy and pretty chill. I enjoyed taking the dogs for walks in the neighbourhood and spoiled all of them with lots of treats. Watching Checkers was pretty straight forward. He's a sweet boy that plods around, sniffs about, and is very obedient. He's very good at taking his medicine with no fuss as well.
