Rose and Bruce are the best of the best! I feel so blessed to have found them, to have had a meal together and to have them care for our home, Australian Shepherd and our 4 chickens. Our home was spotless upon our arrival back from trip and Rose was perfect in her communication with us…not too much nor too little! They took Callie for walks up in the woods daily (#1 way to win her heart)! I understand why previous reviews state they would have them back without question, my sentiments exactly. They are a lovely couple and I’m so thankful to have had the privilege to have them come and house sit. Thank you again! By the way, Rose I love your sweet and gentle spirit (you to Bruce 😊)!
We had a very beautiful experience. Kayellen and Mark were very easy to communicate with and left us their wonderful home to look after Benson and Billie, they are two very good, loving, calm and obedient dogs. Lorraine and Brett made us feel instantly welcomed in their beautiful home. Paddy and Dolly will steal your heart immediately. They were no bother and so easy to care for. Lorraine gave us all the information in a detailed guide. Unfortunately the weather wasn't that great while we were there so we were restricted with walks with them but when we did get out they both walked well on lead. The torrential rain made their beautiful home feel very damp but once the sun was out we could open everything up and enjoy the beautiful breezes, even the doggies were happier when the sun was shining. Thank you for choosing us to look after them.
Seven cats might sound a bit daunting, but they are no problem as they go in and out at will and are in good health in spite of their age. Being mostly rescues with a past, they are a bit standoffish ( except at mealtimes when they converge on you. There is a feeder but they like personal service!). They shed less than expected. However, one shouldn't mind the occasional smell or poo to be picked up. The house is comfortable , light and airy, with a guest suite you can keep catfree, and well located just outside Cahersiveen, on the famous Kerry Ring. LOADS of wonderful scenery, walks and beaches to explore, but a car is necessary. We loved that area! Suzan is a kind and hospitable lady - she took us on a tour the evening we arrived - and easy to talk to.
I had a lovely time housesitting for Mary and Rob. Arie was a real pleasure to take care of. He was lovely company and was full of love and always wanting to be near you and absolutely loved his walks around the beautiful green English fields. He's just as happy jumping into the car and going for an explore in the nearby town Oxley and Emberton Country Park. He loves playing games and sniffing out his treats and loves a little chase when he pinches a sock or two. :) Mary had left great instructions and the house was beautiful. They also had some friends nearby who were really friendly and I felt very comfortable and safe. I'd recommend this sit.
Avery & Jayson were great hosts. They left everything clean and tidy for us & and left very clear instructions for the space. Nala was super easy going and friendly. She warmed up to us within a day and provided many warm cuddles during our stay in the winter wonderland that RiNo is this time of the year. We miss Nala and would definitely come stay again.
Frisbee is very calm and has good behaviour. He was very friendly and was excited to see us each morning. The house was in a very good location with shops and takeaway a few steps away. The house was in a quiet area. It was enjoyable to look after Frisbee and the house.
