WOW! We were so impressed by how Patricia and Slav cared for our two sausage dogs and cat. Communication prior to the house sit was excellent, but it was how they managed two potentially serious situations and communicated with us whilst we were away that set them above the norm. Especially given that we were in California with an 8-hour time difference. Olga developed a sore back and they alerted us and then took her to the vets, administered her medication and ensured she was rested for the following few days. She was soon back to her normal self. We have a vine in the garden that produced a few small bunches of grapes last year. This year it has gone crazy and lots of bunches of grapes had formed. They were high up on the vine so we didn’t give it much thought. However, whilst we were away the grapes ripened and became heavier – Olga could now reach them! Patricia mentioned that Olga had been rather quiet outside and when they investigated, they realised she was eating the grapes. I remembered reading about how toxic they are to dogs. We couldn’t risk that Willa hadn’t eaten any grapes too, so, Patricia and Slav had to take both to the vets and manage their care for the next few days. We were very worried but felt so glad that the dogs were in safe hands. Luckily neither dog has suffered any ill effects. Patricia and Slav were in no way at fault, both were unfortunate accidents, and we were so grateful for the care and concern they provided for our precious dogs. Needless to say the vine has now been pruned back and will be relocated! Patricia and Slav were very caring and conscientious and formed strong bonds with the dogs and cat. The house was neat and tidy when we returned, and they watered our plants when it was very hot. We would have no hesitation in recommending them to anyone looking for kind, responsible and proactive house sitters. They went above and beyond for us and we would love to welcome them back next time we are away – but would hope they would have a less eventful stay!
Rose and Sebastian are an interesting and cute professional couple. This is the second time we had the pleasure of having them sit for our three critters. They treat the sit with great professionalism and reliability, and they are clearly animal lovers by the grin on my dogs faces. They got plenty of walks and even taken on an adventure or two in the car. Thank you both!

Vicky is an angel! My husband and I hired on the recommendation of an another local pet sitting company. Our initial needs were for her to visit our two cats when we were gone camping for long weekends. She was always super attentive and affectionate with our girls. She would always send photos to us of them playing and getting enrichment. We went on an extended vacation last year, and she saved my plants from destruction, and went above and beyond to ensure the cat litter that had been piling up in the kitchen trash can was removed before we came home so we wouldn’t return to the smell. We are SO grateful to have found Vicky! She’s been a godsend since day one and quickly became part of our little family. She has an amazing natural skill with pets - always tuned beautifully into their needs and temperament - and her level of dedication is just impressive. She even got herself over for her visit with our pup the day her car broke down in the snow!! We’ve always loved the pics and updates she sends along with each visit; it’s reassuring to see how happy and loved our critters are when we can’t be with them. We honestly can’t recommend her highly enough.

We r very happy we found a clean and great dog boarding for the first time for our dog snow . The staff is very polite friendly and accommodating ! Specially the two young people ( VEC And SID ) who handed over the dog to us , hope I spelled their names correct , sorry if I didn’t . Dropping and picking up was very easy and quick . I so appreciate the cleanliness of the premises and very professional service they provide . Snow was clean and looked very well taken care of when we picked up . Thank you very much . Absolutely love this place. They remember my pup, Miss Maggie, each time we bring her. The front office staff is super friendly. They answer the phones or call you right back every time! They are able to send pictures on occasion. My dog loves it here! Plus all the activities they offer is the best!

Somewhat difficult turn in the driveway at night. Services were extremely good. It was my Corgi's first experience, an he was a happy camper.!.!
They've watched all my fur babies and they are incredibly happy and tired when they get home. That's a sure sign that they're getting some amazing love and attention which is all I can hope for. The cats especially. Usually they're mad when I get home from a trip and with tail wag there is no passive aggressive behavior for days on end upon my return.
THIS PLACE DOES NOT HAVE AC AT ALL. I realize this is Oregon but it was over 90* for a week straight and all those poor dogs must have been so hot. I would not take my dog here knowing they will suffer in the heat.
Immediately felt comfortable leaving our big golden retriever with this friendly team of people. You can sign up for extra services such as more playtime with humans or dogs or nature walks or even a bath and nail trim. Prices extremely good for what you get. Our dog’s name was on a board with other pets arriving that day, along with the names and photos of caretakers who would look after him. Our guy seemed to have a fantastic time! We would book again, 100%!! So glad we found this place.
My husband and I had our two senior dogs spend a day for dog daycare on 12/9/23 while we were out running errands. We have used Tail Wag Inn several times in the past boarding our dogs and cats and dog daycare. They always took excellent care of our pets and goes above and beyond taking care of them. When we boarded all four of our pets while we were on honeymoon back in 09/23, one of the staff was kind enough to send me pictures updates of my pets when I called to check on them. Keep up the awesome customer service : ) You guys rock!
My dog Poe LOVES it there!!! I've never seen her so excited to go to day care before and the staff always gave her so much attention.. I am sad we had to say good bye.. they are a special group of girls that work there!!
Absolutely phenomenal service from Tail Wag Inn. I had to board my cat while I moved apartments. The move in date got delayed twice and it ended up being almost a month. Tail Wag Inn was always super understanding and accommodating when I had to change my pickup date for my cat. The people there were super friendly and took great care of Malcom. I couldn't be happier with their service.
Left my 11 month old puppy with them for 5 nights & she came home with kennel cough, among other things. Could not get ahold of anybody for the first 4 days. This was her first (& last) time staying there & she has some anxiety so I wanted to make sure she was doing okay. Called multiple times everyday, left voicemails, emailed & even tried sending a message through their website. No response until the day before I came to pick her up. When I did, she reeked of urine and her coat was greasy where she had clearly laid in urine & was not cleaned up (who knows how many times?) First staff member that I interacted with when I dropped her off was completely unknowledgable abt anything having to do with boarding. Gave me a card to email for updates, however the staff member I spoke to when I picked her up gave me completely contradicting information than the first. She also completely ignored my concern & complaint of being unable to reach anybody abt the wellbeing of my dog for 4 days. Simply replied that I used the wrong email & to use the correct one next time. My dog started coughing & hacking horrendously after I brought her home & given her a bath. They never mentioned anything abt them having any issues or concerns of kennel cough at their facility but she did in fact come home with it. Immediately took her to the vet & a $250+ bill later .. she's on 10 days of antibiotics for kennel cough & a suspected bladder infection. The facility itself reeks & seems like there is little to no sanitary practices used or standards upheld. Extremely disappointed in their facility, their lack of professionalism & care for clients and their pets.
Our dog spends a couple of days per week at Pawsitively Playful in Newberg. We love the staff and owner and they seem to really love our dog. Richard keeps high quality dog food and pet accessories in the shop too which saves us a drive sometimes. I highly recommend this doggie daycare and boarding. Enjoy holiday pet photos and participation in Newberg’s Old Fashioned Festival parade!
Very friendly an positive wonderful peaple an correlated to doggie owner's.we adopted a wonderful little mix breed thats taken a shine to us very quickly an gets along great with our cat an 5 month old dachshund an absolutely loves his new yard.we highly recommend these ladys for a adoption and doggie day care they do a wonderful job. Owner and operator is very friendly and good with dogs. I have my pup enrolled in the class and even though she is a bit of a trouble maker the owner handles her well. Group sessions are small and seem to still cater to the individual need of each dog. They sell additional services and products other than training, and it is nice because it is there if you need it but they never try to push it on you. Would recommend for new dog owners and veterans alike.
They always take such great care of my little Chi "Baby".Richard is kind and very patient with nervous dog mom's. The facility is well organized and clean. My little girl has special needs and they meet them with love. I highly recommend them.
I highly recommend this place for your doggy day care and overnight stay. In lieu of places where dogs are kept separately in crates, Pawsitivity Playful dogs are allowed to play with one another. They do have crates where dogs sleep at night, eat and recharge. Richard who is the owner treats my adult puppies with dignity and respect. Because of the positive atmosphere there, my pups would rather go there than play in the yard. 😁
Our pup Kenickie loves going to doggy daycare here!! Such a great way to burn out some extra energy during the week when we're busy, he always comes home ready to crash for the next couple of hours. All the employees are super awesome and take great care of the dogs. They've also always been super flexible when we need last minute puppy playtime day or boarding. And the prices are the best around!
Love this place!! What a treat for our dogs! The owners Richard and Merissa are absolute treasures. They are so tender and accommodating with all the dogs. Their facility is set up with the dog's needs in mind. That's not all folks! There is a professional groomer on site too, Pampered Pooch Grooming. The groomer Nicole is a miracle worker!! You won't be disappointed.
We had a good experience taking our dogs in to be groomed. Until the next day when our dogs began to cough and sneeze. After a trip to the vet we discovered they had Kennel Cough which they contracted at the groomers. I understand this is not 100% avoidable with so many dogs. However when we called to let them know, we were not giving an apology or any reassurance that additional sanitation methods would be taken in the future. The grooming was good, but it is not worth it when it comes to the safety and health of our pets.
Brought my dog here for the first time today. The staff was so kind and genuine. You can easily tell that they truly have the heart for the dogs that they get to take into their care. My sweet girl warmed up quick. The vibes were so great I started a package with them and signed her up for boarding dates (for when i will be out of town) They have cameras in the play rooms that you can watch anytime as well as the suite's.
The Sherwood Camp Bow Wow is amazing! My pup enjoys his time there (especially the one-on-one sessions) and is exhausted by the end of the day! The cameras are my favorite thing so I can check on my baby. The daily activities are so cute and I love that enrichments are available. You can tell they have the dog’s health in mind.
Excellent customer service so far. They eased my pup into full interaction with other pups and she did great. Staff gave me insider info on special promotions and helped us sign up for boarding. I highly recommend!
Baker has loved every visit to camp bow wow in the 3 years that we have been taking him there! As soon as he knows that’s where we are walking - he looses all leash training to get to the door faster! The staff have always been very friendly & he comes home pooped out but very happy!
Friendly staff and flexible service. We like the doggy cams and the on-site grooming. There have been a couple of minor hiccups on more recent visits, like my answers to the pre-stay survey not making it into their system (they also ask the same questions when you make a reservation anyway, so the later survey seems redundant), and their not sending pics of the dog's personal play time, which they used to do, but it's still our go to doggy hotel in Sherwood.
My boyfriend boarded his dog for the first time ever over this last weekend. It appeared she had a good time, however, both his dog and my senior dog have become sick after he picked her up and she came home. Both have had to be taken to the vet and put on antibiotics. Very disappointing experience. Be mindful before you book a stay for your pup here. Thankfully both dogs are okay. My senior pup got it a lot worse though and was struggling to breathe at times. Needless to say, we will not be using Camp BowWow or any other boarding facility ever again.
It is so wonderful to board our dog in a place where we know she will be safe and cared for. She is scared of hard floors, but the team has done such a good job working with her to overcome that. They are patient and so kind! We love the peace of mind we get when we drop our pup off. Highly recommend Camp Bow Wow!
Excellent doggie daycare, clean, fun and drop off/pick up is so easy. Everyone is friendly and I love the cameras if I just want to see what my doggo is doing. Friendly and caring staff who are always willing to accommodate last minute requests for extra play time etc.
Had good experiences in the past but I boarded my dog last weekend and she came home with kennel cough, as well as a swollen paw with sores/redness. I know things can happen but I had two other family members that also boarded the same weekend and their dogs are having the same issues.
I brought my puppy for an initial interview and visit. The location is well staffed and very organized. I like that there is an enclosed outdoor area for the dogs to run around. There are also live video cameras so you can watch the indoor areas where the dogs mostly hang out. All the staff seem very friendly and genuinely love dogs. While the place is very clean, my only suggestion is to get rid of the strong urine smell at the entry due to it being located right next to the outside dog enclosure . It’s pretty off putting when you first arrive. After the 3 hour visit, Chester loved it and we will be back!
Randi is the absolute best! I moved here from Florida last year and I was hesitant to board my two Goldendoodles anywhere. We found Randi and she has been amazing and a lifesaver. I can travel and I never have to worry about my girls, because they are well taken care of at Randi’s. I also love that she sends me photos of them running free in her yard while I’m away, or resting on the couch :-) I would recommend her to anyone looking for quality pet care in a warm and inviting home environment.
10/10! I felt so safe leaving my small dog with her; I felt right away like she was such a great dog person. My dog is normally nervous, and I felt like she might want to stay here forever. She send me daily pictures without me asking. A true professional, would recommend!
I impulsively brought home a rescue dog. I needed to go to work the next day. Randi was my rescue. She helped my pup and I settle in to a routine. Fast forward 3 years and another rescue dog. Randi remains flexible and supportive through it all. My dogs and cat look forward to her visits/walks.

Shari is the absolute BEST!! She took such amazing care of my kitty, Toby, for years - whenever we took a vacation or even just needed a night out! He had a heart condition and had to take pills every 12 hours. I completely trusted Shari with his care and felt like I could relax knowing that he was in her dependable hands. She would send pictures and updates on how he was doing every day. If something was off or he wasn’t taking his pills, she would contact me right away. I never had to worry when Shari was taking care of him. The online scheduling and payment options are super easy to use and Shari is very responsive and accommodating. Shari cares so much that she even came over just to say goodbye when we knew Toby wasn’t going to be with us much longer. She truly cares. Shari's been walking my dogs 3 times a week for over 2 years now. She's fantastic - even taking time to help train my dogs while she's at it. My dogs love to greet her at the door and are very much in to the routine and the attention she gives them. She's top-notch - very good at what she does.

Great staff and excellent care for our fur babies. They treat them like their nieces and nephews! Very secure with double security latching and pets always on lead when moving around the property. They take care of everything. The add-ons are a real bonus for the pups who are rambunctious and playful.
we have two dogs that can be very tough to deal with are not particularly social, old and don’t really like unfamiliar people. It can be hard to find somewhere that will take them and care for them when they’re Such grumpy old men. Laurel acres is always happy to take them not worried about their attitudes and cares for them. This is one of the only places we trust with our tough little guys.
We visited here before bringing our kitty, because we had never left her anywhere but at home, but she needed medication while we were out of town. The employees were so sweet and let us take a look at the cat room, which made me feel SO MUCH better about leaving her. Just brought her home, and she is her silly self with not a care in the world haha. We will likely be back again!
Sookie was a 1st timer at almost 15. She’d never been to a boarder. The Cattery was clean, quiet & I know she was kept healthy & well cared for. Plus, she had food she had to have medicine in & that was no problem for them. I can’t say enough good things about Megan. She was an angel! She made my request of the bottom floor happen and did many other things to alleviate my fear and worry. The only mar was the weekend woman who checked us out. She was rude & abrasive. Wish I’d gotten her name, but I was a wreck because she wouldn’t let me see Sookie.
We had a last minute first time visit the staff was extremely helpful. Juni is an Australian cattle. Loves to herd.She did great.

Can't recommend them enough. My boy Stevie needs a little extra care, and wears a muzzle in public. I don't have to worry when he's at Laurel Acres. All of the handlers there are qualified and trained. They are also very responsive and give me sweet pictures of my boy when I'm away!
Laurel Acre is amazing. I've been boarding my dogs here for several years every time we went on vacation. My dogs are always taken good care of. They alway come back to me happy and healthy. I would highly recommend their service to other pet parents.
My pets are always excited when I bring them here! They pay attention to how our pets are doing and have given us a call when there are any issues that are medically significant. They have stayed there for up to two weeks and were in great spirits when I came to pick them up! It is a good bit of a drive out in the sticks for either location but in my opinion it’s worth the trip.
They did an amazing job with my Roxanne, very friendly when I arrived She had me answer a few questions as she made a record. Then I went and got my dog came in and they took her back. And called me when she was ready in about an hour or so awesome place. Thank you Kristen
Sharon and her family are awesome dog sitters! She was very thorough when taking my dog for the first time, and I appreciated that. That diligence made me trust her. My little Doxie always has a great time playing with Johnny and whatever other residents are there and comes home happy and tired. She has a big fenced yard and the best part is Sharon works from home so the dogs aren’t alone. I totally recommend her!
