Tracey was so lovely, and welcoming. We went for a walk together, showing me the forest and what Reggie loves, where can go off the leash and where to put him back on the leash - this was really really useful. It also helped Reggie and I settled into each other, we had a really beautiful time together Reggie is the sweetest and just loves being close to you. Tracey's home and surrounds was so nurturing to be in, loved it so much. Thank you Tracey!
With the exception of caring for the delightful pets, Lennox and Jess, everything about this stay became deeply unpleasant. The house was so unclean it gave me an allergic reaction which severely affect of my health. I enjoyed walking out in the woods at the back of the house with Lennox for some fresh air, and was disappointed that, due to him not having an ID collar, we could not go anywhere else together (it is a legal requirement for a dog to wear a collar with it's ID in the UK). Without going into detail, after 12 days of the 21 days, the sit was cancelled by myself and THS Membership Services, after I had made provision for the ongoing care of the pets. The cancellation was not mutually agreed but actioned as it was 'extraordinary circumstances'. Throughout this experience I had the unbiased support of membership service staff who acted professionally; I provided pictorial and documented evidence as requested by them to back up my situation. They have seen clearly what unfolded and have apologised to me and stated that it is a rare event, and my leaving has no effect on my 5*THS reputation, and they hope that my future commitments are enjoyable. They also recommended I leave an honest review. I am very grateful for their kind support which has boosted my confidence in being with THS.
This was a really good experience. We had a great time in Urcal with Coco and Cookie and a really nice house to stay in. Thank you for this opportunity!
