Meredith is a well organised, helpful and generous homeowner. Her Brooklyn apartment was welcoming, comfortable and in the perfect location for exploring New York City. And of course Annie was a complete delight to care for, we very much enjoyed our gentle walks around the neighbourhood. A wonderful sit that we would very much like to return to.
Jane and Richard’s house is set in an idyllic village, and has an enviable garden. There are lovely routes to Old Winchester Hill, the Meon Valley and the South Downs Way is on the doorstep which is great for walking. The Shoe Inn in the village is a great place to have dinner or drinks. Matti adores endless strokes and Nina will play catch with the ball for hours in the garden. They are strong dogs and will pull on the lead during walks so I would recommend fit and confident house sitters (Jane mentioned she does look for this when choosing sitters). As Matti can be a handful around other dogs, we tried to avoid main routes and found a field at the top of the lane where we could let them off the lead one at a time to have a good run and play with the ball or a stick, which they loved. In the evenings Matti and Nina were very sweet and perfectly content lying with us by the wood burner.
My weekend at Neda's house was very relaxing and I recommend this site if you want to be in a very good location in the city of Melbourne. Makhmal is the most beautiful company, he is a very sweet and low maintenance kitten, he loves cuddles and I assure you that anyone would fall in love with him. I would love to have spent more time with him. Neda behaved very well with me and waited for my arrival to show me the cozy apartment, which she left very clean and tidy for my stay. I definitely recommend this sit in the beautiful city of Melbourne!
We had a lovely stay in Mosman with Roxy and Charlie. The cats are very chilled out and easy to look after. The home is in a beautiful location with a stunning walking track around the harbour
This is a fantastic housesit! Ozzie is a sweet old gentleman who doesn't ask for much more than love and time to nap. Gary and Doug are curious cats who love to play but are also happy to entertain themselves and each other if you need to work. The chickens are easy to care for and appreciated the watermelon and other treats Rebecca prepared for them ahead of time. I loved having fresh eggs to eat. Rebecca is super organized and provides the most detailed set of instructions I've ever seen, which is so helpful when taking care of someone else's home and pets. She is also friendly, responsive to texts, and made me feel very welcome in her beautiful home (which is also one of the cleanest homes I've ever stayed in!). She and Alan are really nice people. Their home is in a great spot in Bend. It's surrounded by trees and I felt like I was out in the country, but stores, coffee shops, and restaurants are just minutes away. I also loved having access to Pine Nursery Park for morning walks and runs. I highly recommend this housesit and hope our schedules align again in the future so I can return. Thank you, Rebecca!
I had the wonderful opportunity to petsit two adorable bearded collies, Summer and Sky, and a cute kitty named Twix. Summer and Sky were affectionate and playful, and I bonded to them right away. They loved their walks and snuggling up next to me at night, which added a special touch to my stay. The house is located in a very safe, gated community, providing a secure environment. The pool was a refreshing treat on hot afternoons, perfect for a relaxing dip. The home itself was spacious and equipped with all the amenities you could ask for, ensuring a comfortable stay. Overall, this was a 5-star sit! I highly recommend it.
