Keith and Angie were most welcoming and very friendly indeed. They invited us to come down the day before so we could get settled with “Silky and Milky” before they left. Angie made us a lovely meal and we sat and shared stories/travel experiences and even met their lovely daughter Rowan. The whole family are very active outdoor people and there is certainly something in that Welshpool water as they are all, including the 16 year cats, very spritely indeed.
The 400 year old cottage is very much a work in progress in most rooms but it is very secluded and quiet with nothing to disturb you apart from the chirping of various species of wild birds.
There are several walks within a few miles and glorious scenery all around. We took full advantage of this as Silky and Milky are outdoor cats which gave us the chance to explore every day. Keith and Angie went through a host of walks with us and even left OS maps for us to use.
There is also a lovely large wood burner with an abundance of wood which Keith and Angie kindly provided and it was lovely to sit in front it and relax after a long hard days walk.
Future sitters will definitely require their own vehicle as there are no shops within walking distance but Welshpool (10 mile drive) has everything you require.
We were lucky with the Welsh weather and our lovely walks ranged from low level canals to the tall famous waterfalls.
Milky and Silky were absolutely no bother and a pleasure to look after.

Had a lovely weekend with Sam! Sam is such a sweet and playful dog, with a lot of energy to play with the ball outdoors! He is well behaved and a nice dog to go on walks with. Loves his bellyrubs and chilling in the evening. The location was good, close to a lot of nice cafes. The house was really nice, and the whole family very welcoming, accommodating and helpful with everything! Would highly recommend! 🧡

This was a fabulous cat-sit due to Amy's kind hospitality and great organisation. Gus was the star of the show and such a wonderful, lively character who just loves to play. The location right in the centre of Manchester was brilliant and the flat was modern and sleek with a great view of city life. I miss playing with Gus and would love to visit again sometime. Thank you Amy :)

Danielle and Paul were lovely hosts. Communication was very easy both before and during the sit.
Betty had a lovely temperament. She loved playing tug-of-war with us and was a really good back-seat passenger in our car. We took her everywhere with us and she was always very well behaved.
Nietzsche and Oscar were two beautiful cats who liked nothing more than to be stroked, brushed and fussed over.
Danielle and Paul had a comfortable, spacious, attractive home with a large conservatory overlooking their garden, which was often filled with pretty birds and squirrels.
We really enjoyed this sit and would love to stay again if we could.

We spent four great days at Ed's.
Davina welcomed us from the first moment, she is such a sweet and loving dog. Very well behaved and loves her cuddles. We will miss her a lot!

Ed was very kind to let us care for his baby girl, he was responsive, providing us with instructions and answering any questions we had.

The flat is conveniently located close to the station, shops, the park, it is in a secure gated complex and is very nice and comfortable for a couple.

Thank you again Ed!
