Mercedes and Nicole were fantastic! We were not able to do a handover in person, however everything well perfect! The dogs were so well taken care of! They went on so many adventures and our dogs have now been to more places in Europe than we have! 😂 We got daily updates, photos and could see each day how happy the dogs were! Our dogs had the best time! They stayed over an extra night, as we arrived home late, and Nicole happily walked the dogs for us in the morning they were leaving, so we did not have to do it! It was such a lovely gesture. They are such a wonderful couple and we will happily have them over again! Would highly recommend!
Iralee and her family are good humans with big hearts and were so helpful. We genuinely enjoyed getting to know this family and sharing our home with them. They were very appreciative and demonstrated it by asking lots of questions to show concern and respect for our preferences. Iralee is very intelligent and possesses a wealth of knowledge about animals, their behaviors, and how to win them over. Our dog Whinny is not always welcoming to newcomers and Iralee won her over right away. She took excellent care of our two dogs and cat. Marden was a great keeper of our brood of hens. We returned to a clean home, fresh laid eggs, and soft, shiny dogs with luxuriant coats from being bathed and shampooed. We will definitely ask Iralee to return again!
Oh my gosh - what a wonderful time I had with Patton and Moto! Super sweet dogs and so so easy! The home is in an excellent area and Laura was super clear and efficient in giving me the instructions for the home and the dogs. I’d absolutely recommend this sit to everyone! Thank you Laura!
This sit was very enjoyable. Paul and his wife explained everything before they left which made the sit very easy. Heidi and Roger were both very well behaved and easy to care for. Their house was lovely and we got to enjoy great food and craft beer in Bend. We had a blast!!
We were delighted to be chosen by this kind and generous young couple for our first house sit since the onset of covid. We had the opportunity to stay the previous evening and felt very relaxed with them. Their beautiful home is nestled on 5 acres and the only sounds are the birds. Its bright warm and comfortable. There are separate areas for watching TV or relaxing while reading one of their many books. We were happy just hanging out but everything you need is about 10 minutes by car and access to their home is just 10 minutes from a major interstate that will take you to Portland or Seattle. This sit offered us the first opportunity to watch pigs and they were a hoot. There was also an abundance of fresh eggs. But the real charmers were Maple and Winston. While they loved to run and play they also loved to just sit and cuddle. These pups were well behaved. We ended the day with them snuggled up with us in bed. They slept until we rose. I highly recommend this sit if you want a break from the world. It really is a slice of heaven on earth. Look forward to sitting again when we are in the area.
Zoe and Cooper’s house was beautiful, warm, in a lovely area with lots of hiking and nature but close enough to several cities for anything you might need. The family was very welcoming and kind and you can tell that Zoe and Cooper are so loved, they are full of energy and are so beautiful and sweet. We had a lovely time sitting with Zoe and Cooper and would definitely do it again. Highly recommend for dog lovers! ❤️❤️
This was our first house sit and a wonderful introduction to the Trusted Housesitters community. Our hosts were amazing in the communication and care they provided. The home is beautiful and the cats were a joy to be with. We would welcome the opportunity to sit again in the future.
