Cat Sitters in Sunshine, MD

Lisa and her family arrived right as scheduled and were so much fun to work with. We knew our pets would be on good hands and they communicated their condition to us regularly. If they ever get a chance to come our way again, we would use them (and recommend them) without hesitation.

Sheila was awesome. She sent me pics of my babies and they took to her right away. I know watching three can be a handful but she managed wonderfully. My neighbors said she was great with the pups. I would recommend her as a sitter.

Helen was great. When we got home Sugar was as happy as can be. Helen communicated during her stay and the house was clean and organized when we got in. She made sure Sugar was okay during the fireworks and with an issue we had with a beeping alarm. I also appreciated that she asked specific questions ahead of time to make sure we covered all the details.

Vadim was very communicative and took great care of my dog and home. I received many pictures and updates even though it was a short weekend away, which I very much appreciated! I could tell he gave my pocket pittie Ruthie a great staycation while I was gone!!

I was so happy with Nora's first pet sit, I booked her again 2 months later. My dogs love her and my plants love her. She takes the most wonderful pictures of my dogs. Again, I am going to print some of these pictures and frame them. I can't recommend her highly enough. My home is always tidy when I return, my plants are blooming and most importantly my dogs were happy. She is both responsive and responsible. Thanks so much Nora!

Don was responsive, reliable and took great care of our home and our cat. It was a pleasure to have Don stay in our home for two weeks and we'd happily invite him back or recommend him for future sits. On top of that Don is a great photographer and we got great pictures of our cat. We really felt that Don went above and beyond to make sure our cat felt happy, safe and comfortable.

We had almost decided on another housesitter for a recent family vacation when we got a message from Liz, who travels with her dog Buster. Our dogs love other dogs and we thought the addition of a play pal would really help ease any anxiety they had in our absence, even though there’s always a little concern with adding another dog in the mix we decided it was worth a shot and boy did it work out swimmingly! We have always felt that our dogs have been well taken care of with TH, but this is the first time we’ve been away and had daily professional photographic documentation that they were also having mega FUN in our absence! Liz took all the pups out on 3mi minimum hikes every day and facilitated a ton of play and cuddle time at home. I think our girls both fell in love with sweet Buster, he’s 11 so totally mellow and even keeled- he got along perfectly with both Reaux who loves to rough house and Cece who is a lot more mellow. His stint here may help me convince my husband we need another dog! It was a real treat for us to get to travel without any of the usual anxiety that the dogs weren’t getting enough exercise or play time- we are pretty active and they are used to being tired/happy all the time so it’s usually our biggest concern. Liz took such great care of our home and property through two winter storms with several inches of snow, and successfully finished off a 30 course of antibiotics with both of our dogs. We had a little bit of a hectic exit from the house to leave for our trip and she was so sweet to even fold a load of laundry we had in the dryer and take care of a few other loose ends- really above and beyond! As usual with TH- our home was in gorgeous condition when we returned and we couldn’t be more grateful for the respect and attention paid. Thanks Liz for all the love you showed our dogs and our home! And especially for the incredible pics- they were such a treat. Wholeheartedly and enthusiastically recommend Liz and Buster to anyone looking for a great house sitter and dog buddy combo! We’re so thrilled with how well things went we will actively seek out other TH sitters traveling with their pets in the future. 10/10, ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ Hope to see you guys again some time! Philip took good care of Rosy while we were away. He arrived to meet Rosy and get the lay of the land just before we left. He unfortunately had a wet weekend that included a brief power outage, but he handled everything well with no issues. He gave us a summary of the weekend and some great tips to improve our welcome guide and sitter experience.

Beth and James were lovely sitters and we came home to a very relaxed and happy cat who had clearly been well looked after and entertained ! This was a short three night sit and I was a little concerned about finding someone; Beth responded very quickly and I couldn’t be more pleased. She has kept in regular contact throughout and provided me with photos and updates as to Tiggy’s progress whilst we were away ! Perfect ! Thank you so much !

Alex and Perry were with our cats for only a weekend. They were great with them and we have no complaint regarding that care. However, communication and cleanliness were not the best.

Lizzy was everything you want in a pet sitter. She is a loving, caring woman who provided great care of our two pups and home.

HIGHLY RECOMMENDED. Annette and her daughter Claire were great! They clearly enjoyed the cats, were tidy and careful, and they rolled with the punches when I showed up home earlier than they'd expected (my fault, I usually text to let people know my ETA but I was in an area with bad connection and didn't notice the message had failed to send) they just dealt with it cheerfully. I'd be very happy to have them back any time they're in the area!
