This was one of my favourite sits (and I’ve done a few!!). Mari and Danny were so lovely and hospitable. I stayed with them the night before they left and they took me out for dinner which was so lovely. The room I stayed in was their air BnB space and they made it just as special for me as if I was a paying guest. The animals were all easy to care for although a little different to my regular cats and dogs. The pigs are like a hybrid between aloof cats and toddlers so don’t expect them to be cute and cuddly and require you to be firm with them if you want them to do anything! Mari and Danny were super chilled and I loved the sit! Great location and only a 15 minute bicycle ride to downtown or ladybird lake. I would definitely do this sit again 💕
I really enjoyed this sit for Jane and the lovely Benson. Great communication before and during the sit with Jane via WhatsApp, with some extra instructions on arrival - always useful. Jane's house is lovely and warm and comfortable (my bed was V. comfortable!), with everything I needed. Ben was a joy to look after. Once he got used to me (fairly quickly) we enjoyed long conversations over a jolly good brush on a daily basis! Jane's home is in the countryside (you need a car) but Stratford upon Avon (and all the Shakespeare sights) is just 20 minutes away, as is Hidcote. I had no problem filling my too-few days in Evesham. It was just a shame I didn't get to meet Jane, but maybe I'll be lucky enough to bag another sit for Ben, and we'll meet in the future.
Judith was friendly and helpful throughout our stay. She always responded promptly and gave us plenty of notice when their plans changed. She was also very understanding and flexible when I made an error in scheduling and arrived late. Their house is clean, spacious, and situated in a quiet neighborhood that’s still close to all the essentials. Chuck and Norris are were relaxed and low maintenance, mostly doing their own thing but still friendly. It was lovely to have them around and so cute when they were chatty. Our 2.5-year-old son loved the backyard, and we felt at ease knowing the house was easy to kid-proof. We’re already missing Chuck and Norris’s sweet company. Overall, we had a wonderful time and are grateful for the opportunity to stay.
Kristy and Joel were so wonderful and welcoming. I had the opportunity to spend some time to get to know them and their furry family, Strider and Siryn. Strider is a loving dog and we had a great time together walking in the park and playing in the apartment. He's a gentle soul and really enjoys being around you. I let Siryn do her thing and she slowly warmed up to having me around. I really enjoyed my stay in Kristy and Joel's place and would love to visit again. Thank you!
