This is a really lovely place in Hertfordshire to house, dog and chook sit. Twiggy was delightful to look after and loved a nice long walk. The home is beautiful and easy to maintain as a sitter. Nicky communicated well and introduced me to the setting with a pre-sit meeting. I highly recommend sitting for Nicky - you will have a lovely time.
Perfect sit :-) Willow, Freddy and Jan are so lovely! I had great conversations with Jan - she took good care and made my stay very pleasant. Freddy and Willow are so great cuties. Willow is very calm and relaxed. Freddy was my shaddow ;-) and he loves to cuddel all the time. It was so easy to took care of both. I loved to stay and sit there very much and would do it everytime again.
For a month I had the wonderful opportunity looking after Frida and Diego, as well as Ellen and Gils lovely home. Frida and Diego are sweet, affectionate, no hassle to care for, and overall just make fantastic little companions. Each morning when you let them out from their sleep space will lift your spirits for the day! They are well behaved and easy to read. Lotta fun to be around too. Ellen and Gils home is very unique, comfortable, and will always keep your attention to find something you didn't notice the day before. The first floor is an amazing studio space which I appreciated to use. The outdoor garden area is so well thought out and inviting to be absorbed in. Upstairs in the main living space there were a couple choices of bedrooms to choose from. Each night I slept very well. I thoroughly appreciated the books. Fantastic collection. Especially the art books. The space is certainly spacious enough for one or two but very easy to maintain. The neighborhood is quiet, quaint, and your just steps away from a great little beach and the rest of the bay. Ending my days basking in the sunset and taking in the waves was beyond a treat to have access to. Ellen and Gil made sure all my potential needs were attended to and were gracious with ensuring to communicate any time, regardless of time zone differences. Not to mention Ellen and Gil radiate warmth, thoughtfulness, and were some of the best company I've had, although brief, in some time. Truly lovely people. This was by far one of my favorite sits all around and can't recommend it enough. Ellen and Gil, I cannot thank you enough for letting me into your home and caring for Frida and Diego!
We loved sitting at Fran and Joshs’s! Their cats Maggie and Dougal some of the sweetest, most playful and friendly cats we’ve met. As they let themselves in and out, and you can leave a timed feeder out for them if you need to be out over a mealtime, it also means they are very low maintenance. But they will take all the cuddles and playtime they can get when you are home! The house was so tidy and clean when we arrived and Fran was really generous with letting us use anything we needed for our baby, it made our trip so much easier and we really felt at home. Highly recommend sitting for them if you get chance to!
