We loved our stay at Bruce and Patty’s! They were easy to communicate with before and during the sit, and were very kind and friendly! They left a thorough welcome guide with detailed instructions to care for Bub and the home, and put sticky notes on all of the cabinets and drawers. Bub was easy. He did require medication once a day, but he took it without any trouble when ground up into his food. He was a little wary of us at first but warmed up quickly! The house itself is beautiful. Large kitchen, comfortable seating indoors and outdoors, and a gorgeous yard with a fire pit (we didn’t use the fire pit because it was 90 pretty much the whole time we were there, but it’s a great amenity). The home theater was another great touch! We would highly recommend sitting for Patty and Bruce and hope to return in the future when our schedules line up again!
Susan was a very generous host, offering up nearly all consumables in the house! Simon had many opinions, so get ready to listen. Sofie was so tender and sweet. She missed her mom badly and went on a hunger strike at the beginning, but eventually caved. She has a very serious prey drive and there are squirrels and bunnies galore. She believes herself a fierce huntress to be sure. She will cuddle with you in the morning and is very well behaved. Beautiful location with many opportunities for long walks or village exploring. Thanks again Susan
Thanks to Sigita and Dan for letting us live with wonderful Sputnik in their beautiful Apartment. We met them a day before our sit when we got the keys and they really made us feel welcome and made sure we didn't have any problems. They are both very well organized. First of all, the appartement is amazing, a real gem and perfect for exploring Rome. We enjoyed walking through the Borghese Park to the city. Caring for Sputnik is a really easy job and it was so nice coming „home“ and he was expecting us. He loved belly rubbs and thanked with a loud purr. He followed us and was so cute. We felt more like „Romans“ than tourists. We wish Sigita and Dan all the best for their future explorations. Maybe we see each other again. We would highly recommend this sit.
Always a great stay and such good company. :)
This was a PERFECT sit. The home is beautiful, immaculately clean, and located in a great neighborhood. Ellie is one of the sweetest dogs I’ve ever met. She loves to sit next to you on the couch and sleep with you in bed. She’s so easy to take care of — she naps a lot, and lets you know when it’s mealtime and when she needs to go out. She was a great companion and I really enjoyed spending time with her. The hosts were so generous — they gave me a gift card for one of their favorite restaurants and one to buy groceries. I was given detailed instructions along with all the information that I needed to care for Ellie and manage the house during my stay. Brenda was a fantastic host and I would LOVE to sit for them again and spend more time with Ellie!
Gail is so kind and her home is so comfortable. You will love her artwork and her incredible beautiful Maine coons. Iago is one of the most beautiful cats and Raja is a glorious queen. Highly recommend. She helped me out and was so kind and generous with her space.
