Helene and Keith are both lovely people and amazing hosts! The house itself was beautiful and tranquil and provided the perfect getaway in a lovely town. Leo was super friendly and was by your side at all times. Sally was respectful and came for a pat when it was time for food but both were gorgeous! Helene, Keith and I shared many stories over a lovely meal they made and shared a few drinks too! An amazing house sit that I would highly recommend to anyone who gets the chance!

House sitting for Barb and Bill was a real pleasure. Their house is lovely and comfortable, and we were able to feel very much at home. Their cats are easy to care for, and we were able to make a connection with them quickly, so much so that we missed their affection upon leaving. The house is well situated in the middle of Yorkshire that we were able to travel in all directions and see a wide range of sights and go on many pleasurable rambles. Barb and Bill, themselves, are very warm and welcoming. We spent our first and last night together with them in their home, and we enjoyed our time thoroughly. Their generosity and hospitality put us immediately at ease and enabled us to feel relaxed and to enjoy our time in their home completely. It was a great house sit.
What can I say?! We had a wonderful sit with 2 gorgeous dogs in a stunning house in a quiet, picturesque location. So many lovely, relaxing walks straight from the house with lots more not too far away by car. Ted and Waffle were so loving, cuddling in whenever we were around. We enjoyed getting to know each of their personalities. They made us laugh with their antics at times. Bridget and Fraser were extremely welcoming, preparing dinner for us the evening before their departure. They talked over the dogs’routines which helped make this sit go smoothly. Highly recommend and would happily return. Thanks for everything Bridget, Fraser, Ted and Waffle.
My stay in Portland at Ira’s house was wonderful. I fell in love with Chloe the dog and Ira (and his wife’s) very clean and adorable home in a beautiful neighborhood of Portland. I highly recommend staying here if you get a chance- it’s walkable to beautiful parks and cool artsy streets with great restaurants. I want to go back!
Georgia and Dan are the wonderful hosts you wish for, when signing up for TrustedHousesitters: Super friendly, open communications. Lots of appreciation. Lots of trust. And a dinner invitation! What else could we ask for :) Normally, we are not looking for Viennese house sits as we live there ourselves. Yet, when we figured that Georgia and Dan are practically neighbors to us, we reached out to them. And we are so glad we did, not only have we met 2 awesome humans, but we also got the chance to spend a couple of days with two of the most adorable cats: "Siggy" and Otto are absolute sweethearts and very entertaining :) We did not stay at the flat but came by twice a day to take care of the flat and the 2 fluffs - and we always had a lovely time with them. The flat is super cozy and beautiful, and the 9th district is a gem within Vienna, close to the channel and the city center. So, there is really just one thing to say here: If you get the chance to housesit for Georgia and Dan, don’t hesitate!
