ONE OF OUR FAVORITE SITS! Lynn and Alistair are a great couple with a lovely and very comfortable home. Wonderfully bright, eat in kitchen and a very tranquil bedroom. It is situated in a quiet, rural setting yet only 25 minutes by train from Linlithgow to Edinburgh. They have a large backyard facing a field where one can see deer walking by and rabbits hopping about. Kitty Max is too adorable for words and Ollie quickly warmed up to us allowing me to pick him up and brush him. They play extremely well together and would snuggle up with us in the evenings. We would happily return to care for these two wonderful kitty cats. Excellent!!!
Our stay with Ingrid and Jeff was wonderful! Their home is so beautiful and well appointed, and their garden is a paradise! We felt right at home in this Napa gem! Chuey Lewis was the first to greet us with his cheerful and inquisitive presence. Next came Roxy, who started off a little shy, but after her first petting session, she was hooked and enthusiastically came back for more. It took Blakey a little bit longer to warm up to the notion of us, but once she did, she was in for the cuddles too! They are a delightful trio of feline fun! Ingrid and Jeff are thoughtful, caring, and supportive hosts. An unexpected medical emergency occurred at the start of our sit, which could have disrupted everyone's plans; but with quick thinking and a flexible mind-set, Ingrid and Jeff were able to solve all the logistics and create a feasible plan that served us all. They were action oriented problem solvers and great communicators, which we thoroughly appreciated! I highly recommend a stay with Ingrid, Jeff, and their feline fur babies!! We had a blast!
Martha was a lovely cat, no trouble at all. A bit timid at first, but soon got used to us and we fitted around around her routine without difficulty. A comfortable house and Caroline and Chris were kind enough to let us use their bed, which was super comfy. As the house is at the top of a hill the sea views from the bedroom were beautiful. A good base to explore the Gower coast, with the added benefit of having Martha to come home to.
We had a great time watching Jackson. As others have said, he isn't the cuddliest cat, but he lacks up for it in personality and handsomeness. We felt very honored when we did get one cuddle out of him at the end of our stay! The house was clean, comfortable and well decorated. It's in a great location as it's near the South Congress neighborhoods as well as plenty of foodie places to check out. Stephani was communicative and left great instructions for both Jackson and her plants. Thanks so much for having us!
We really enjoyed our long weekend with Winston in John’s lovely home. Winston is a great dog, well behaved, good company and loves endless ball games in the extensive garden. We hope to make a return visit when possible. Thanks for choosing us, John.
