We loved our 10 days stay looking after Milly and Ruby! They are happy, gentle and very well behaved dogs, we loved spending time together and we miss them! There are walks straight from the house in the countryside which is really enjoyable. The house is very comfortable and warm, located in a nice little hamlet with a large garden where you can spot pheasants and we even spotted a deer a couple times. We had a large room with a view over the village church and with our own bathroom and the wifi was fast and reliable throughout the house. Poole is close and has a range of different restaurants and cafes with vegan options and the Jurassic Coast with amazing walks and views is just 30mn away. Chris and Cathie were very welcoming and friendly and the communication with them was great before, during and after the sit. We thank them again for this experience and we highly recommend this sit :)

This was a really great housesit. Jo and Martyn are well organised and good communicators responding quickly to any questions we may have had . Jo made everything clear while we chatted on the phone before the sit which we appreciated. She also has a warm personality and I knew we would get on . Jo and Martyn’s home is not only beautiful but is set in the most wonderful area. There were fabulous walks directly from the front door through woods and along mountain tracks. Some a little muddy, but as I say Jo had prepared us so we brought walking boots. Jo and Martyn were wonderful hosts making our stay very comfortable with the added bonus of a very interesting chat over dinner with the added benefit of Martyn’s home made eau-de-vie. The time flew and bedtime came too soon. We would highly recommend this sit for many reasons. Firstly Jo and Martyn are a lovely couple , They are laid back and easy going and very informative. The house is very comfortable and beautiful both inside and out. It was also sparkling clean. We absolutely adored the wood burning stove. Unfortunately the weather was not on our side to try out the pool, but it looked very inviting. The surrounding area is a nature lovers’ paradise. We were surrounded by much bird life and could hear owls at nighttime and cuckoos during the day. The cats Minou and Poppy were so easy to care for. Minou happily gave me purrs and kept my lap warm. Poppy is much shyer so it was lovely to eventually get her talked round to getting lots of pats and strokes and I was rewarded with her purrs and her acceptance of me . The donkeys were no bother and enjoyed daily carrots and an occasional scratch behind the ears. We would highly recommend sitting for Jo and Martyn and hope to do so again for them in the future.
I didn't have a chance to meet Cynthia before I arrived, but she left very clear instructions and it was simple to understand what Nora needed. When I did need to talk to Cynthia, she was always available. The house is in a great area in a great city. It has plenty of space and lots of great porches to watch the sunset. Nora was a Grade A snuggler and so easy to look after. She just wanted to cuddle up any chance she got. Highly recommend.
Tina is a lovely host and we felt very welcomed at her beautiful and cozy home. Her flat is in a beautiful area surrounded by the nature, has a breathtaking view from the lake and it is 20 minutes walking from the Mosseporten Shopping Center. Tina lent us her car what was very useful to get to know the area nearby. Athena, Elsa and Olaf are such lovely cats. Athena is a more shy and prefers to be in her own space, Olaf is super relaxed, likes to be cuddled and sleeping close humans, Elsa is the most energetic one and loves to play and keeping us company at the living room. We appreciate a lot our time there and recommend this sitting for who wants to relax and enjoy the beautiful Norwegian nature. We loved Ruff ! My Spinone, Zeppe went several times a week for daycare and he would start making happy noises miles away knowing that he was going to hang with friends. He went thru those doors and never looked back at me. (sigh) He came home tired and happy every day. Everyone so nice, all so clean, a great facility. HIGHLY recommend.

Bonny Doone is so amazing. Our dogs have stayed here several times and love it. One of our dogs unfortunately passed away while we were out of town and he was at the kennel which was not surprising with his age and health issues. The kennel staff knew him well and were aware of his health issues and always took great care of him. They called us immediately and took care of so much and gave us beautiful condolences. I can’t thank them enough for being there in my absence.
Bonny Doone is the only place I will board my pets. Rhonda's team is exceptional at creating a safe and comforting home-away-from-home. I recently boarded my dog Shelby for 9 days during the winter holidays. After returning home, I called Rhonda with a quick question. Shelby was asleep next to me when the call went to voicemail. Her tail started thumping loudly on the couch at the sound of Rhonda's voice on the outgoing voicemail message. Just another reminder of the peace of mind I have with Bonny Doone. They're the best!

This kennel was recommended by our vet, Dr. Mary (ret.) of Napa Small Animal Hospital, at least 5 yrs ago. I have been taking my dogs here ever since. My experience with the owner and staff has been great. They provide updates when I call and are very understanding when I call multiple times a day to check on my dogs. The facility is always clean and I never have to worry about my dogs being placed in unsafe situations as they don’t allow pets from other households to interact with your own. This is for the safety of the pets and is the main reason why I have continued to choose this kennel over others. They also use my preferred vet, Napa Small Animal Hospital, so I feel confident leaving my dogs behind knowing that they’ll be cared for by great doctors should they need it. Our Abby, a 22 month old doodle has been going to daycare at Bonny Boone for just over a year and we love the team there. The excitement Abby has when we pull in the driveway is a great feeling. The facility is clean, the team is professional and and if they ever notice something I may have missed with Abby ... such as she’s been licking her paw a lot, they let me know so I can keep an eye on it. We used Bonny Doone one weekend when staying in the area. Our hotel was dog friendly, so we dropped them in the morning, went out for the day, and picked them up at the end of the day. Very friendly staff and our pups seemed to enjoy it.

I have worked with the TailUp team to walk my pup since they initially opened. They are extremely professional, well managed, and reliable. Melodie, the owner takes extreme care to screen her staff and to ensure that they, not only follow safety rules, but also make sure that I as the pet parent am comfortable with her team. TailsUp closed briefly due to state independent contractor regulations, but they are now back in business! I couldn’t be happier with their service and professionalism.

I want to take a few moments to express my complete satisfaction with Tails Up pet sitting. Melodie & Penny did a wonderful professional job with my 2 cats. I received complete & thorough reports on every visit. Photos of my cat boys mail & newspaper collection were included. If I could I'd give them a 10 star rating. My cats are like family to me so I compliment only the most professional caregivers with real love & caring for animals .
My job has me travel alot. I recently moved from AZ to NV and I didn't have a pet-sitter for my tortoises. I needed to go to Ca for training and Terrell was very respectful when I first messaged him asking if he would watch after my pets for the day until I got out of work since I couldn't check into my hotel until later in the day, and ai didn't want to leave them in the car while I was at work. They pet-sit for dogs, do require proof of vaccines, and would appreciate at least a couple of days notice so they can rearrange their room for the other pets being boarded. The business is run from their home, and they allow the other dogs being boarded to roam with each other, so they aren't caged up in a kennel all day. The day I stopped by they were watching over a newborn puppy along with about 5 other adult dogs. In the past they have watched after birds, but he mainly specializes in dog care. However he will watch over mostly all pets with enough notice. Keep in mind this is a personal, and private pet care service not your typical big franchise or well known business therefore, it is not going to involve any paperwork, and you do pay by cash. In order to know the cost all you do is contact him via his website by researching the name of the business and the option to message him comes up. When I asked for a quote he was pretty responsive, I messaged him around 6:00pm as I was leaving that next day, he got back to me around 8:00pm. If I remember correctly you could also pick up your pet at 11pm as that is the time they close their doors for the business, but you may notice that they do get antsy if you tell them a time, and aren't there minutes before, so you may hear from them via text when time gets closer to the expected pickup time. Otherwise, they seem to care after the pets kindly and are open to following instructions on feedings, pet care, or medications if needed. Best of all they surprised me with a couple of images of my pets while I was at work, as you can see my male tortoise dirtied up his water soon after they gave it to him.
We are really thankful for TJ service. After a last minute call he accepted both our dogs and was patient enough for both. He updates us everyday, highly recommended.
I took my two dogs to Tj's All Per Care for three weeks stay. Terrel went way beyond what he was asked for. He took a good care of my dogs, he kept me informed with daily messages of the dog's activities, he fed the dogs as he was asked. I'm very happy with Terrel's service and honesty. Great place! this was my dogs first time with a boarder and he definitely benefited from it. I was out of town on a work trip for 3 weeks and I didn’t want my dog to be in a kennel majority of the day so this was a perfect fit for us along with becoming more social with dogs. He went to the park everyday and TJ also sent me at least 2 pictures everyday and answered any question I asked on my pup. After I picked up my pup he has been sleeping wherever he can, definitely not the last time we’ll be using his services.
TJ runs his service like a business. We were especially impressed with his professionalism, foresight, and experience. While watching our dogs we encountered an unforeseen travel situation that he was able to accommodate with no issues. The entire time we felt completely comfortable and safe with him watching over our dogs. He provided daily photos and updates on how they were doing. We would definitely go back to TJ and recommend him to anyone looking for a competent, communicative, and professional sitter.
Terrell did an amazing job with my 7 month Doberman. We were in a last minute bind and Terrell was able to take him the day of AND keep my dog for 4 days. Terrell really does know how to handle all of the different personalities which is very important when you have a large dog with a lot of energy and separation anxiety. I noticed that when I picked my dog up that he was calm and leaning against Terrell as we were talking. We were very Appreciative of Terrell's flexibility and Happy with the state of our dog upon our return. We will be returning with no doubt!!!
TJ went above and beyond to accommodate us as we were moving from Japan to Fairfield. He has the most flexible hours for drop off and pick up and is reachable by phone at almost all hours. My dog has never been happier when boarded...probably because she is not locked in a concrete run/cage, instead, she is hanging out in a comfortable home! My dog was due her monthly preventative medication and TJ ensured she received. He takes all his boarding dogs to the local dog park and keeps them actively engaged with other dogs, toys, treats, and human interaction. TJ sent us daily photos/updates and it's clear he loves our dog almost as much as we do. I will be using his service again and again. In fact I'm hoping he will do some doggy daycare too!
TJ is Awesome! Knows how to handle and treat dogs, I have a old German Shepard and a old Jackussel mix. Both dogs came back happy and healthy. TJ takes them to the park, plays with them and let's the do what they want. He is very professional, polite, super responsive to calls and texts and sends pictures to you 2 time a day of your pet. I will recommend TJ to everyone!

TJ did a wonderful job taking care of my older labrador! I was in need of last-minute pet care for a day trip for work, and was SO grateful that TJ was able to keep my sweet old dog entertained while I was away. (He even sent me a nice picture of all the fun they had at the dog park!) My dog is pretty energetic and extraverted for an old dog, and he came home super happy and exhausted -- I think dogs that like to run and play with other dogs will have a wonderful time with TJ.
The dogs are always well cared for and the dogs play a lot all day long with each other. My dog loves going there because he gets to play with all the other dogs. When I leave my dog there and go out of town, I feel totally confident that he will be taking care of and fed and loved on!
We LOVE Pampered Pets! They take such good care of our little Mochi! She has a blast there. They always post pictures to update us while we are away. All of the care staff are very loving with the pups!
We have been taking our little “Apple” to Pampered Pets for her vacation while we are on ours since she was very young.She loves it. The minute she gets there she runs away her little tail going fifty miles an hour and never looking back. She loves playing with the other doggies and sitting on the owners lap. Fetch! were a huge help when we were staying at Cavallo Lodge with our dog and needed someone to come to the hotel and stay with her on New Year's Eve. They found a perfect match for our pup. We have used Fetch Pet Care for our 17 year old poodle. Because of her age she needs a little extra TLC. Fetch has proven very dependable and kind with out dog. They kept us posted while we were out of town how she was doing and contacted us with any questions. Our house was left in perfect condition and we came home to a very well cared for dog.
We moved to Sonoma 2 years ago and feel so lucky to have found our petsitter Lois, through Fetch. She's reliable, caring and easy to work with. Our two older cats now require medication and Lois has been very accommodating with their changing needs. Most importantly, the kitties are completely comfortable around her and we feel good knowing we've left them, and our home, in capable hands.
We have been using Fetch for many year to care for our cats while we travel. It has always been a great comfort to know that the pets we loved were being so well cared for. The daily journals and pictures we received showed are cats as active and happy. The litter is always clean when we return. In addition, our plants had been watered and mail taken in. Once, part of a tree fell in our yard, and the pet sitter texted us pictures, which allowed us to schedule tree service as soon as we got home. Our current pet sitter is a delight to work with. We sometimes think our cat is disappointed when we return. In short you could not do better than using Fetch for your petcare needs.

Oh.my. goodness.. These ladies are a true gift. 😭 A review cannot express how exceptional their care for our family fur babies was. They respond almost immediately, put in the effort to get to know your pets and your family routine. They just CARE. My male dog is sometimes misunderstood and has trouble forming relationships with others outside of immediate family. Our little family isn't even home from vacation yet. I brought my pandemic puppy here for her first time away from me or family. She was there for 10 days and did great. I brought her a few times for day care before so she could get acclimated and I think that helped. The entire dog gone sister’s team was really nice and communicated with me and helped ease my stress of leaving Toffee was so long. I received photos every night and toffee even made it to their ig page. I have already recommended to friends and definitely will bring toffee back for my next vacation but even plan to bring her for daycare every now and then.

My girl dog is scared of people not in her circle and has bad anxiety. It only took Joy 2 visits for them to be BFFs which is shocking to me! This means my girl trusts her, which means I trust her! My old dog takes meds and is blind. Joy really takes care of him. I have no complaints and Joy is the best! PLEASE TRY HER BUSINESS.
Me and my wife both work away from home a few days a week and we needed a daycare for our dog, Apollo. We learned about the sisters through a friend that uses their services and we couldn't be happier! They had us bring him in for a meet and greet, then allowed us to leave him there for a couple hours to see how he got along with the other dogs. They now pick him up early in the morning without us being home and provide email updates with photos once he's in the car for peace of mind. I pick him up on my way home and he's exhausted from playing all day. The arrangement couldn't be better. The sisters and staff are all animal lovers and super friendly. I'll recommend them to anyone that asks!
TDGS are so sweet and really treat your fur baby as their own. They are very patient, my dog is a nervous nancy, but they knew how to handle him and make him feel secure. I don't even need to leash Doc when I pull up, he runs straight the gate and he is always dog tired when he gets home. I can tell after taking him to daycare he is more confident with other dogs and knows how to communicate better. I'm very picky about my pup, I highly recommend them.

Those Dog Gone Sisters are an excellent family run business and have done cat sitting for me twice now. I am really happy with the exceptional services they provide. They not only visit and refresh the food and water but also clean the litter boxes and collect the mail. They send daily email updates with pictures of your pets which is such a nice added touch to put your mind at ease knowing your pets are happy and safe. What also impressed me was that they do a meet and greet with you and your pets before taking care of your pets for the first time so that you/they know if it’s good fit. I won’t have anyone else other than Those Dog Gone Sisters take care of my pets when I am out of town.

We’ve gone to Taylor Mountain for 2 years now and can’t express enough how this place is the absolute best. It’s our dog’s favorite place to go. He’s a dogs dog and hasn’t always trusted people. These folks work so well with him despite that being challenging sometimes. They limit the number of dogs they have so each dog gets real attention - your dog isn’t 1 in 100 like most other places. They also let dogs be dogs - they’re allowed to chill or play all day as they like and that was a must for us. I can’t recommend Melissa, Tracy, and the crew at Taylor Mountain enough for dog boarding. Trust me, this is where you want to go if your dog is your kid like ours is to us.
Taylor Mountain Canine Retreat is absolutely the best! From day one they have been incredibly professional and I never worry about Riley being in their care. They go above and beyond to make sure your pup is comfortable, happy, and loved. The camp notes for longer stays with the dog treat is such an amazing touch. I have never felt better about living my fur child with a boarding facility; highly recommend!
Our dog LOVES Taylor Mountain and they are so kind to her. It’s clear she is cared for while we’re out of town and they pay attention to all the details for each dog — which dogs they get along with, any behavioral challenges, etc. It’s easy to leave for weeks at a time when you know your dog is stoked to be going to Taylor Mountain. Love this place and I know our pup loves it even more than we do.
Five stars is just not enough! Your search is over- you’ve found the best boarding facility in Sonoma County. My boyfriend and I have been clients at TMCR since 2020. At the time we had just gotten a new puppy, Cooper, who was a little fluff ball of energy. With us both working full time, it was very important that we found a facility that could help support us in providing the best life for our boy. From daycare to overnights, we wanted to find a place for him that felt like a second home. When we first toured the property and facility, we were treated with the utmost respect and care. Melissa asked us numerous questions about our boy Cooper to ensure she truly got to know him and his needs. From day one, Cooper was in love. He was a regular Daycare guest 2-3 days a week and probably would live with Melissa and Tracy if they’d let him! Cooper ended up being a little bit of a sensitive boy when it came to his diet, his soft paws, and hot summer days. The team at TMCR made sure to go above and beyond when it came to accommodating these needs. They ensured he ate his special lunch we packed him for his diet, made sure to swap him from different play yards when his paws needed a break, and spoiled our boy with unlimited pool days, cold floor naps with huge fans ( this is a big plus for Cooper), and all the snuggles in between. We later bred Cooper, and kept his first born son, Murphy. Cooper and Murphy are now both TMCR clients. We cannot express our gratitude enough for the support, love, and care TMCR gives to us and our boys. Cooper and Murphy are our babies, and knowing that they are not only in wonderful hands, but having the time of their life while at TMCR, brings us peace and comfort that is truly priceless. I look forward to the life long relationship our boys have with TMCR and all of the staff members. While we are unbelievably sad to see the daycare side of the facility close, we find comfort knowing we still have TMCR for all our boarding needs. THANK YOU!!
Melissa & Tracy and the rest of the TMC staff are amazing!! I wouldn't bring my dog Maggie anywhere else! They are attentive, compassionate and treat all of the dogs there like their own! We utilize both their boarding and daycare services and Maggie always comes home happy and well cared for! Maggie is somewhat of a higher maintenance dog and the staff is always very attentive to her needs providing her medication when she is due and ensuring that her meals are prepared as she needs! Melissa has gone out of her way to prepare her special meals when Maggie has had an upset tummy or communicate with me any issues that may come up during her stay! Their facilities are clean, well kept, and the grounds are fantastic! It truly is a retreat for your furry friend! I will be a life long client of Taylor Mountain Canine.
This is HEAVEN for dogs!!! We had never boarded an animal before, and we dutifully checked out four or five other boarding places before being recommended to Taylor Mountain Canine Retreat. We are so glad we found them! They are in a whole other (higher, better) class from any of the other folks we interviewed, for the same or better prices. We traveled for fun, but I think our dog had a better vacation than we did! Tracy and Melissa LAVISHED our pup with heaping amounts of care, attention and affection. And, practically, when we arrived to pick up our darling dog, Melissa asked briefly for our presence, and she proceeded to clip the dog's toenails while we held our dog's leash and petted her. Two different vets had previously recommended sedation as the only way to accomplish a nail trim... The relationship these folks built with our dog in a short amount of time had our dog trusting and loving them enough to allow even the scariest task to become quick and effortless. No muss, no fuss, no worry, our dog came home shiny, happy and healthy. We LOVE Taylor Mountain Canine Retreat, they are absolutely our "go to" boarding place, pretty much forever. Additionally, we'll definitely be taking our dog to hang out and have fun even when we are around- she clearly adores Tracy and Melissa and being at TMCR. Incredible place! The staff and ownership are extremely kind and knowledgeable. They are detailed in every dog's care and are very responsive via phone and email. My dog has boarded over single nights as well as for two weeks straight. She is always so excited to go into the building when we arrive. She comes back healthy and happy each time. I highly recommend TMCR!
Taylor Mountain Canine is the best spot to take your furry friend! Louise has a blast whenever she gets to go. Melissa, Tracy, and the rest of the staff go the extra mile. They get to run around and play all day, get their nails clipped, get bathed, and they get a report card at the end of their stay which I love so you can see how your dog did. I love knowing Louise is in such good hands!
Our dog Annie loves it here. Great people, lots of things to do at doggie camp. There are lots of dog pals for here for play and conversation or just relaxing. We have used many other dog care facilities in Sonoma County over the years, and Taylor Mountain Dog Retreat so far has been the best. One more time, the owners and staff are great, the play areas and relaxation areas are clean wonderful and with very clean & heated indoor/outdoor sleeping facilities. No better place for our Princess to play, socialize and relax, then Taylor Mountain. Blake B
Our dog Gatsby has had a couple of amazing stays here so far, and we recommend this retreat 1000 times over!! Melissa and Tracy and their entire staff run a very professional yet loving operation here. Our dog was a bit nervous for her first 4 night stay, but when we brought her back for a 12 night stay she was going absolutely bonkers and was so excited to see the staff again, and that's when we truly new that Gatsby is in great hands. The staff is very responsive and we loved getting pictures texted to us as well as seeing Gatsby on the Instagram stories. We hardly worried about Gatsby at all during our trip even though this was the longest we had left her. The price is very reasonable and competitive with the area, and a bath and nail trim at the end was very much appreciated! The very flexible pick up and drop off hours are awesome. No ridiculous upcharges to have your dog play unlike some other places in the area. Again, cannot recommend this business enough for your dog boarding needs!
I had been searching for a pet sitter for several years that I could trust with my 13 year old dog when a family member recommended I try Fluffy Boss . I can’t say enough wonderful things about how well Josey took such loving care of our dog Zoie. Since Zoie is an elderly dog she has some special needs which Josey immediately tended to. I have now used Fluffy Boss several times and Zoie gets so excited when Josey arrives. I would highly recommend Fluffy Boss and will definitely continue with her services. Thank you Josey!!
Josey is a natural with animals! She treats them like little royal babies who must be protected at all costs--because they are! She took care of my tiny terrier just as instructed, and Angel didn't want her to leave! Highly recommend and plan on using Fluffy Boss again!
