Deborah was an exceptional host! She was incredibly hospitable, doing small touches like leaving goodies and a Thank You note for taking care of MPW (THE most cuddly cat known to man). Deborah is also a proper bibliophile so she has so many great reads throughout her apartment. With her sweet fur baby, gorgeous bedroom view of Manhattan, and impeccable taste in books you can’t ask for a better host.
Doser is a very sweet dog! Taking care of him was pretty easy and smooth. The family is lovely and their home is in a great location to explore the north west coast of SF :)
We loved house sitting for Janet! She was so welcoming, and left the house beautifully for us. We felt right at home. The dogs were well behaved and there were lots of lovely walks around to take them on :)
Thank you Gregg and Selene for allowing us to take care of Aventa and Chiapis, they are 2 cuddly pets, with very cute characters, we are going to miss them. We feel super comfortable at Casa Rosa, we lived in paradise for 30 days. swimming and enjoying the pool and all its amenities. We very much enjoyed taking care of Ellie-Mae, Poncho, and Chevy. The cats are a blast! They love to be around and enjoy attention. Poncho has an endearing way of demanding attention, while Chevy is more discrete but no less loveable. Managing it all and keeping everything in line is Ellie-Mae, a serious dog who enjoys getting brushed while lounging with you on the sofa. Terri-Lynn and Paul were attentive to our needs as pet-sitters. They were engaging and welcoming, even having us over for excellent meals before leaving their fur babies in our care. They are kind and decent folk who were very solicitous of our well-being and comfort with their pets’ daily routine. Their guide for their lovely home was thorough and clear. We had no problems, but had their been anything from a break in electricity to a problem with the water, we would have known exactly how to deal with it. Indeed, in the case of a general blackout, we still would have had electricity because the house has a generator! The house itself is charming and beautifully situated. It’s great sitting outside and listening to nothing but birdsong or going for a jaunt through their woods, including an obligatory passage through the mysterious door that will help you get “past the past”. Nearby are four great places to visit: Almonte to the northeast, Carleton Place to the east, Perth to the southeast, and Calabogie to the northwest. Each of these places has its own charm and is well-worth visiting. We would highly recommend snatching up the next house-sit that Terri-Lynn and Paul publish!

I had such a wonderful time walking Penny around your very walkable and very nice neighborhood, exploring fun Fuquay-Varina, meeting some of your super friendly neighbors, and of course relaxing in your comfortable home and enjoying your amazing salt water pool! Penny is such a treat, she obviously has had a lot of love and great training from you! She walks so well, doesn't pull, amazingly she doesn't even try to chase bunnies and squirrels, wow, and she is so generous with her affection. What a great, well behaved and such a loving dog! I had so much fun, I got to visit my family in the area and have Penny's wonderful company, yay! I'd love to sit for you again! Best wishes ❤️
