It’s been a while, but now I finally figured out how to write feedbacks :D sorry for the delay. At Tanja’s was my first housesit and it was a beautiful experience that motivated me to continue. Allie, the dog, has so much character. I have to say that I still miss her from time to time, although we spend only a week together. She needs time to build up trust, I like that. It is so rewarding when you eventually earn that trust :) the cats were a lot of fun. Waking me in the morning and just the way they interacted was a joy to watch. Thanks Tanja for the sit!

If your dream is to hang out with the most loving cuddle bug dog and divine entertaining little cat then this is the sit for you. Add the incredible generous hospitality of hosts Catherine and Andrew, a beautiful home and an incredible forest in the backyard and you are in utopia.

Caring for the gorgeous Dizzy and Miss Marmite in Catherine and Andrew’s fabulous home was pure delight.

Catherine and Andrew are fabulous hosts who made me feel so very welcome into their cosy, charming and comfortable home. Catherine kindly picked me up from the Lyndhurst bus stop and treated me to a delicious evening meal on my arrival.

Communication with Catherine was fantastic and her Welcome Guide left no questions unanswered. Andrew put me onto a great trail map app with numerous walking trail suggestions which allowed me to venture out with Dizzy Dog without fear of getting lost in the forest.

The house has a gorgeous backyard that opens out onto a forest golf course fringed by beautiful conifer and old growth forests carpeted with moss. Complete with babbling brooks, incredible bird life and the fabulous wild donkeys and ponies it was a heavenly place to immerse oneself in nature.

My room with a fabulous ensuite and super comfortable bed was beautiful and the living spaces filled with warm morning sunshine everyday….a great spot to read or simply have a coffee and gaze out into the backyard. The kitchen is a foodies dream with every gadget you could ask for and a fantastic oven and air fryer.

The main attraction is of course Dizzy the loveable Labradoodle who stole my heart from day one. She is quiet, gentle and loving, the perfect couch buddy who was happy to watch BBC crime dramas and nature documentaries with me. She is a dream on and off lead with fabulous recall and up for any adventure. She truly is a glorious dog and I will miss her very much. Miss Marmite is a young, adventurous and inquisitive cat and was a great source of entertainment with the loudest purr I have ever heard. She is affectionate on her own terms and does love a brush and a bit of a fuss when she is in the mood.

A special thank you to Catherine and Andrew for inviting me to their home to care for their fur babies. Cannot recommend this sit highly enough and would love to come back for some more cuddles and kisses from the delightful duo Dizzy and Marmite.

Bobby bobby bobby... He has so much personality, it sometimes felt like he was an actual person ^^
He was unique in so many ways: only dog you'll have to chase to go on a walk, only dog that won't do anything for a treat, only dog that actually leans on the (window) counter.
Overall Bobby is adorable, sensitive, easy and hella fun :D Watching him run every morning with his tongue to the side and jump like a kangaroo was just the best way to start the day ^^ He has good recall and, although I expected to struggle, catching him gave me no trouble.
Bobby is not in-your-face like most dogs, but take the time to get to know him and you will be rewarded with the biggest smiles <3 :D

Not to be forgotten : Ben and Damien took the time to meet me twice prior to the sit and did everything for me to feel comfortable <3 Their house is wonderful, everything is in precious material and smells good... it feels like a cocoon <3

Thank you so much! I would happily come back to take care of the sweet Bobby :D

Cheryl
Great house/pet sit in the wonderful cook village area. Wilson is a super chill pup, awesome company and has made me a fan of French bulldogs.

Cheryl's place is really nice and has everything you need for a comfortable time. The location in James Street village is the best. Walkable to Beacon Hill Park, downtown Victoria and the beaches.

While every part of the sit was great Wilson is the star attraction.

I thoroughly enjoyed my Christmas retreat looking after Joey. I found the flat light and airy at the same time as being warm and cosy. Lindsay gave me very clear information. Joey is gorgeous, easy to look after, and a companionable presence.

I had a lovely time at Megans and would recommend this to all sitters! Maisie is an excitable little ball of joy and so entertaining to spend time with. Beautifully calm views, great food nearby and lovely surrounds for walks and exploring!
Thanks Megan!
