It was an absolute pleasure house sitting for Katie and Jeremy! We had such a great time caring for Byron, Bijou, Bramble and Kiki at their adorable home. Katie and Jeremy are wonderful hosts and when we arrived they cooked us a wonderful welcome dinner. They had also stocked the kitchen with beautiful food for us. We arrived two days before their departure and even though Katie was busy with two small children and packing for their trip she took the time to show us around and going through everything we needed to know. She had also made a very good welcoming folder with all the information we needed about the house and the animals, but also suggestions for things to see and do. This was very much appreciated. We fell in love with all the fur-babies! Byron is the kindest and sweetest dog you’ll every meet, he loves to cuddle and he followed us around everywhere - a true gentle giant! Bijou is very sweet and intelligent and is very happy on the walks. The dogs a very well behaved and easy to care for. Bramble is a lovely personality and was always up for a cuddle in the sofa. He was very sweet and calm with the children who just adored him. Kiki is also very sweet and also up for cuddles, but on her own terms. The cats would often come along with us on the evening walks with the dogs. The house is lovely, comfortable and spacious with beautiful flower- and vegetable gardens and stunning views. We really enjoyed being able to pick ripe figs and physalis in the garden and tomatoes, zucchini and fresh herbs from the nice vegetable- and herb gardens. We enjoyed cuddling with the loving pets, cooling off in the pool and relaxing in the beautiful garden. We have taken away so many fond memories and can not thank you enough for choosing us to house sit for you. We thoroughly recommend this sit and hope to return soon!
We absolutely loved taking care of Emmie! She is such a sweet and easy dog to take care of. Emmie also loves to run and I had so much fun running with her. Nick and Alex have a wonderful house and we were really cozy in it with a big comfy sofa, an office space, and a spacious bedroom and comfy mattress. We really enjoyed doing a couple of their puzzles too! The area is super convenient. It's easy to access public transit, go out to eat, and get groceries. We highly recommend this sit to anyone and we would love to come care for Emmie again!
Had a great time sitting Wilson over Christmas this year. He is a laid back and friendly, loves a good walk or game of fetch in the park. I took him to my families celebrations and he was a hit with everyone including my nieces who have been wary of dogs in the past, but now ask me where Wilson is every time I see them. Simon was very communicative and the family were lovely and accommodating. They provided a beautiful home with a huge garden and plenty of information in the welcome guide including maps of local walks.
I had a wonderful stay with kitties Kis and Luci at David and Dalmas home in Phegans Bay on the Central Coast. Kis and Luci are sweet, affectionate, kind natured kitties and a bit quirky which I love! Kis (pronounced Kish) is a white siamese cat who use to be a breeder for many years until she was abandoned. So she can be very shy and timid at first until she gets to know you and knows she can trust you, then she will be very affectionate and always by your side. Kis is such a sweet girl, I have a real soft spot for her after what she's been through. Kis was so very loving and affectionate towards me and loved belly rubs, we hit it off immediately. She would sit on top of me in the lounge when watching TV at night or would come into my room at bedtime just wanting to be near me and loved and if she isn't on the balcony sunning herself then she would always be with me. Luci has been with his pet parents since he was a kitten so his personality is completely different. He is very trustworthy of others straight away, extremely affectionate wanting lots of chin rubs and pats and he is also very vocal. He has such a quirky personality and every time he goes to the bathroom he will sing and let you know he's been its hilarious. David and Dalmas invited me over for dinner the night before the sit started and it felt like I was in the presence of friends. We had a lovely dinner and a few bottles of red wine together. David kindly let me use his car while they were away which I was so grateful for. It made things a lot easier for me to get into Woy Woy for shopping and exploring different areas of the Central Coast. David and Dalmas home felt like my own private tree house surrounded by so many beautiful native trees and bushland. It was a spectacular setting. I had such a wonderful relaxing week there. It was so peaceful and quiet and hanging out with the kitties was an added bonus which I loved. I really didn't want to go anywhere half the time, just been with Kis and Luci was all I needed. It was so homely. Their home has everything you need and more including an awesome coffee machine and netflix and prime video. Thanks David and Dalmas for opening up your beautiful home to me and letting me have a small moment of time with your gorgeous furbabies. I hope to come back soon and care for Kis and Luci again. 😸❤😸
Thank you Dan and Sigita for an amazing sit! Sputnik is adorable and very loving. He quickly seemed at ease with me around and was extremely well behaved and easy to care for the entire time I was with him. I miss him a lot already! It was a pleasure to stay in your incredibly lovely and well located home while visiting Rome. There were many tasty places to eat and amenities close by and it was easy to either walk or catch a bus from just outside the apartment to all of the main sites in Rome. The proximity to the Borghese gardens was particularly special. Dan and Sigita are super kind, generous and interesting people. It was really great to meet them and share stories on the first day of the sit! During and leading up to the sit they were very communicative and helpful. Their home was well equipped, clean and comfortable. I am very grateful for the wonderful sit and would visit again in a second!
