Wow! This was our first official housesitting gig on the app and it couldn’t have been better! Angela, Erin, and Magnolia are the best doggy family for the sweetest dog we’ve met in a while: Ziggy! They were super easy going but gave us all the info we needed to make sure it was a successful stay. Erin even equipped us with the most delicious coffee to make our mornings great. The house is clean, comfortable, and full of awesome books to get lost in. Ziggy is affectionate, loving, and smart. We snuggled with him, took him on long walks, and just adored every moment with this large but gentle love pup. We very much felt a connection with this cool family and hope to sit here again in the future:)
Jo and Steve are both welcoming, kind and generous. We met them several weeks before we sat for them and immediately could see what a wonderful couple they are. Jo baked us homemade scones and we sat around their dining table (social distancing of course) chatting for several hours. On the day we arrived they cooked us a delicious meal and again we seemed to chat for hours. Their home is beautiful, very comfortable coupled with a great terrace making the most of amazing views across the village. We had our own warm and comfortable guest room with ensuite with one of the most comfortable beds we have ever slept in. As we sat over Christmas and New Year Jo & Steve got out their Christmas Tree and decorations so that we could make good use of them. The house has a wood burner that we made use of when the temperature dropped which made the house toasty warm. The village is very pretty and interesting with many walks on offer straight from the house. So what could have made this House sit even better? Charlie of course, the most adorable, loving, funny Cockerpoo was the icing on this stunning House sit. Charlie loves walking, chasing squirrels, pheasants, balls and sticks. He was more than happy to just walk and walk and walk. At the end of the day he still had energy for an evening playtime and then a snuggle on the sofa and plenty of kisses. It was very hard to leave him behind when we left and we miss him greatly. We have been invited back for coffee anytime for a catchup and Charlie cuddles. If we get the opportunity to sit for them again we would jump at the chance. Thank you Jo, Steve and Charlie for making us feel so welcome and entrusting us to take care of your beautiful home.
Deborah was a great host. She is so sweet and easy-going, and overall it was a very relaxing stay. Sienna is very kind and loving, and overall very simple to look after. The house is beautiful and in a great location, I would highly recommend this stay!

I was very impressed with Nicky's level of communication during the trial period and with her interaction with my, and the other dogs, on the trial day. It left me feeling certain that my furbaby will be 100% in good hands.
We quite literally stumbled across Nicky whilst holidaying in the new forest. At very short notice, she was able to complete all of the relevant paperwork and then look after our two labs for the day. Based on the photos Nicky kindly took for us, both dogs settled extremely well and look to have been spoilt rotten. Should we be in the Poole area again then I wouldn't hesitate to use doggy day care again Thanks Paul

I cannot recommend Zoe enough , I was very nervous about leaving my dog before our holiday and Zoe really made me feel at ease. I was offered a trial night and that was really successful. I was kept up to date of his days and videos of him living his best life. I have used Zoe a few times since and I will definitely be using Zoe again and again. If you would like peace of mind and a very happy fur baby I definitely recommend Fido and friends.
Our Cocker Spaniel has had the pleasure of staying with Zoe on two occasions, and both experiences have been great. Most recently, she stayed with Zoe during a very special time for us—our wedding weekend in July. We were thrilled when Zoe confirmed her availability, as we trust her completely with our dog's care. What truly set Zoe apart was her willingness to go above and beyond, even chaperoning our dog to the wedding so she could be part of our ceremony. Zoe walks my dog Chester once a week and on a daily basis when we are on holiday and he stays with my parents. He seems to love his walks and is always excited to go. Zoe is reliable, friendly and I trust her 100% to take care of him. Dogs are kept securely in crates in her van for journeys and she's careful to take them to shady locations if the weather is hot. She walks whatever the weather and we're really grateful to have found her!

Val and Kyle have looked after Barney several times and I can thoroughly recommend their care. The dogs are extremely happy and love staying with them. They get long walks and loads of attention. They are welcomed into their house.
Val is an excellent host , she knows exactly how to make your dog happy, and I’m a very anxious and selective when is about my baby Pom. She knew how to keep me company with lots of pictures and videos from my dogs activities, and her daughter is a precious girl, who gives all dogs love and comfort. Valeria is so accommodating with Lola our cockerpoo. Lola squeaks in the car when we start to drive towards Val’s house and she can’t get through her front door quickly enough! Lola enjoys plenty of walks and cuddles and totally relaxes at her second home. Thank you Val & family xx
Val and her family are amazing! We use both daycare and boarding when needed for our cavapoo which has been great for socialising him. We receive regular photos and videos on how he's getting along and he's always having the best time! All dogs are part of the family when they're with Val and we couldn't ask for more.
Val has looked after both of my poms over the last couple of weeks. I travelled from Cambridge and I am so grateful I found someone so trusting to take care of my dogs Tilly and Nelly. Not only did she look after them she send me regular updates and photos. A lovely lady, I would highly recommend.

I highly recommend Val to look after your dog. It was the first time we had used a dog boarder and I was a bit nervous. But our dog had a wonderful time and absolutely loves Val. She clearly loves dog and it really felt home from home. Loved all the video updates really put me at ease. Definitely would recommend.
I can't recommend Val enough. She is super friendly and she loves the doggies. She looked after our mid-sized labradoodle while we went away for a long weekend, and she kept us updated with photos and videos. Our dog looked like she was having a lovely time, which was good to know. We will definitely use Val again next time we need a dog sitter.
Foggy has just returned from his wonderful Dorset holiday with Julie. He has had two lovely long walks every day and lots of attention - he returned fit and happy and we were able to relax on our holiday knowing that he was being well looked after all the time we were away. Foggy had a lovely space for his bed and we saw some super photos of him looking completely at home. Julie also sent us photos of Foggy out walking in the countryside with his new companions. Marlowe has been having holidays with Julie at Mucky Boots for the past two years. He loves his time with her as it involves long, interesting walks in the countryside or even sometimes at the beach. He also enjoys the company of Barney, Julie's dog and other friendly visitors. Charlie stayed with Julie at Mucky Boots for a week. She had such a lovely time - a real holiday for her and the first time ever that I have been able to relax being away, knowing she was being so well looked after. The daily updates made me think she wouldn't want to come home! So nice for her to have company on walks with other lovely dogs. I would definitely recommend Mucky Boots for anyone looking for professional dog care in beautiful surroundings with someone who so obviously loves dogs.
Our lab retriever Oscar is always looked after superbly by Julie and her husband. They have a lovely comfortable environment for their doggie guests and Oscar comes back from his holiday fit, happy, content and exhausted. Julie cares deeply about every dog and her attention to their needs is wonderful. She also sends photos every couple of days showing your dog enjoying lovely Dorset walkies with furry friends. Such a lovely lady my dog loves it. Julie takes care to introduce dogs slowly and safely, they go on walks, play in the garden and have a happy time. Great she is local authority registered and insured too.
Bertie loves this place - I only have to say that Bertie is going on holiday to see Julie & Barney and he's at the car door without a backward look! He sends photos every other day on his walks with his doggie friends and comes home happy and exhausted. He would recommend Julie to everybody.
My JRT who has a few issues had a fantastic time here. Julie was wonderful she sent pictures during his day and I received a message afterwards to check on how he was once back home.

Our cockapoo Charlie has stayed with Jamie 3 times now and he has such a good time. She looks after the dogs as if they are her own and is very knowledgable. Jamie has extensive grounds for the dogs to enjoy and Charlie is always looking fit, healthy and loved when he returns.
Our goldendoodle Honey loves going to stay with Jamie for her holidays and cant wait to get out of the car when we arrive . Jamie is so professional and kind to the dogs. There is so much space for Honey to run around and she gets very long walks. We would never consider leaving her anywhere else. Thank you Jamie for being there for Honey.

Barkers Home Boarding has provided an absolutely outstanding service for our spaniel Lottie over the past three years. Lottie loves being with Jamie and always enjoys her holidays there, she seems reluctant to leave again. Jamie is outstanding and totally reliable and is a real testament to her business. A truly wonderful place to board your dog in such a beautiful private setting and safe, secure surroundings. Our dogs absolutely love it, they howl with excitement as we turn into the lane leading to Barkers, they leap out of the car and don’t look back! They completely adore Jamie and her wonderful walks, she is totally professional, so kind and capable and we feel a huge relief knowing that they’re in her competent hands whilst we’re away. We’ve found nowhere else comparable and would recommend Barkers without hesitation.
Archie's been going to Barkers twice a week for day care and regular sleep over's for 5 years now and he loves it! There's not even a backward glance when we drop him off. He's grown into a sociable obedient good boy and that's largely thanks to Jamie who is amazing. We can't thank Jamie enough for giving us piece of mind and our boy such fantastic and fun adventures, and tiring him out too! We'd thoroughly recommend Jamie and Barkers - she'll look after your good boy or girl like they're her own.
Barkers is the best dog care we have ever used. Jamie has provided a place for our Springer Spaniel on numerous occasions and each visit has been extremely positive. Our springer literally bounces out of the car when we arrive and quickly settles in. The care provided is exceptional and we would highly recommend Barkers for either day or boarding. It is home away from home for dogs.

Sarah is amazing she takes our dog twice a week for a double walk and is happy to fill in when we have other engagements. Reggie knows when Sarah is coming and sits on the sofa watching out the window for her. We love looking at his antics on the social media images she shares. I highly reccomend Sarah for group or solo walks and home visits.
I couldn’t recommend Sarah enough for our two fluffy fur babies! I know they are in safe hands and are guaranteed a fun walk as Sarah is great at taking them to different places (even when they walk the same day weekly). They always look forward to seeing her and the pictures speak for themselves! Sarah is clearly passionate about her role and I wouldn’t trust anyone else 😊
Sarah is a confident, friendly and very professional lady who has now been walking my Dad's dog Emma for a number of months. As well as providing much needed exercise for Emma to help her loose weight, Sarah has also been concentrating on obedience training and socialising, which is paying dividends. For all her hard work, experience and expertise with dogs, I have no hesitation in giving her five stars.
My dogs mean the absolute world to me and being able to use Sarah’s dog walking and pet care is a weight off my mind. The dogs are always so happy to see Sarah and her dogs. They love going and we love them being able to go. We get reports and photos throughout the session and have absolute confidence in the care Sarah gives. If you’re lucky enough to secure a place with Sarah grab it with all four paws. She is amazing!

Sarah has looked after our young dog since he was 5 months old, initially for daycare 1/2 a day a week and building up to 2 full days whilst we are working. Boris is well looked after when he’s with Sarah which is clear from the regular updates she sends throughout the day. It’s also really helped that Sarah is keen to ensure she uses the same commands when walking Boris as we were taught in training and which we use with him at home. Highly recommend
Sarah has been walking Mario for about 18months now. He absolutely loves his time with her & the other dogs. Sarah is always very punctual, reliable & communication is amazing. I receive updates everyday of where they’ve been with pictures of Mario having such a good time. I would highly recommend Sarah to everyone.
