We had an amazing time taking care of the house, garden and animals of Martijn and Eva. The house was a true gem, uniquely decorated and full of tropical plants. The house is surrounded by a beautiful garden, which we really enjoyed during our housesitting. The center of Zaandam is at walking/cycling distance where there were lots of things to do. The two cats Nacho and Zorro are adorable. They got used to us very quickly, and became more and more cuddly over time. It was a pleasure spending time with them. The fish didn’t show much affection, but I’m sure they liked having us around.. ;-) Martijn and Eva are a lovely couple who were very responsive throughout the housesitting. Half way the housesit one of the cats had a health issue and we were able to contact them immediately so that we could take the right action. Eva prepared a paper with all the basic (practical) information, but any question we had we could easily contact them and ask. We’d gladly return to sit for them again!
Maria’s cats are charmers, her family’s house is beautiful and well appointed. Communication with Maria was very clear with no hitches.
We thoroughly enjoyed our time with Inky, the cat, in her clean, comfortable, light-filled home. Silky-soft Inky is delightfully playful & affectionate. She's also easy, so we were able to take off and explore when weather permitted. A 10-minute walk took us to the SMART Train; we rode it to Larkspur where we caught a ferry into San Francisco. We also explored Sausalito, downtown San Rafael and Santa Rosa. The house is in a safe neighborhood and walking distance from a Thursday morning farmers' market. On those days when weather kept us housebound, we found this cozy home, with its large picture windows, was a pleasant place to spend time reading. We'd be happy to return to this housesit, and recommend it to others. Thank you for trusting us with your home & Inky, Harriot & Bill.

Sharron has a very welcoming home overlooking a lake, not far from shops and community amenities, and well set up to care for the 6 cats she has lovingly homed. The cats are all sweet and gregarious with people and get along well, even though they didn't grow up together, which is a testament to Sharron's kindness. I feel I've gained 7 new friends with Sharron and the 6 felines !
I absolutely loved sitting for Dianne and Bijou! Dianne was really professional and sweet. She had the welcome guide all organized with detailed information that made my stay easeful. Communication was also stress-free and timely. The house was clean and tidy, super easy to take care of. I was nervous about having cleaners over at first, but they were delightful, quick, and efficient. Bijou is the sweetest, most gorgeous, and regal cat. She has the prettiest greyish/black fur. Like a tiny lions mane. She sheds very little and loves to be brushed. She's very independent so it's an easy sit. She loves to spend most of her time outdoors. She's really smart and so astute with time, she knows exactly when to reach home on time for meals. She stayed out overnight a few times, but always arrived back in the morning. I highly recommend this pet sit!
